The. Best. Happy. Hour. Honestly, it was so good that we went two afternoons in a row. But, with $2 craft beers and $5-6 appetizers, can you blame us? The chicken wings were incredible but we also loved the popcorn shrimp. The pretzels were also good but the maple mustard was even better. Our service was also great but the best part was having the place all to ourselves so we could feel safe eating inside during these COVID times.

I went there for breakfast after going to dinners that had 30 minutes wait lines. Thank goodness it did not disappoint us. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. The home fries were perfect!

We visited on the St. Patrick's day and enjoyed every minute. Luckily got a reservation that day. They had special menu with green theme. And the live band was just amazing.

One of the best hotel restaurant I’ve eaten at. Great food, drinks, service and vibe. We were seated fairly quickly during lunch time at the bar. Our bartender was very knowledgeable about the menu and the beers they had on tap. I went ahead and order some small plates such as the steak seasoned fried calamari which was so crispy and savory. Their pimento cheese dip with that crusty bread was one of my favorite snacks. Pricing was a bit high but it is connected to the hotel and with it being in downtown, it was expected.

We stopped in tonight an hour before closing. We grabbed two seats at the bar and were treated absolutely terribly by the bartender. When trying to order two beers, we were cut off immediately to a listing of everything that was out. We proceeded to ask what was available, and the response was "it depends on what you want". It was very clear we weren't wanted or welcomed there so we left. We travel all over the US for work, and it was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences we've ever had.

The atmosphere was awesome. Amazing Christmas decorations! The menu was mostly meat based. If you're vegetarian, you'll have a small handful of items to choose from. We ordered the butternut squash soup. It was delicious, but also $14. That seemed like a lot for a shallow bowls worth. The feta and tomato toast was not our favorite. It was intensely acidic. Overall, we spent $40 on two apps. Not the best experience but I'd try again if I learned they had a more inclusive menu.

Stayed at the connected hotel and ate here twice for convenience. Food was really good and the service was great. I had a burger the night before and it was huge and well made. The breakfast was nice as well and we got a nice view from the restaurant

This is a great hotel restaurant in an amazing location. I had the steak frites with a glass of malbec and everything was phenomenal! The atmosphere is really cozy and the service was rop notch. I'm in the city every couple of months for work and I highly recommend staying at The Fairmont and enjoying this restaurant. They have a really nice menu and drink selection. It's not a cheap place for sure, but in my opinion, the quality os definitely worth the price.

We stopped by for appetizers in between lunch and dinner. We got truffle fries, humus and the pretzel. We were surprised the pretzel was pretzel bread and not bread in the shape of a pretzel. Our server was very friendly but wasn't familiar with what was on the menu. Overall a good experience.

Amazing food! We went here for dinner and it was a little busy but not slammed. We were seated right away, but it took a while for the sever to come take our drink order and bring the drinks. It took even longer for them to bring us the bill and take our credit card to check out. Hopefully, the poor service was just a one-off incident. There is a great selection of beer. The giant pretzle is absolutely amazing. The Tap Burger and chicken wrap were absolutely amazing. It was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The restaurant was clean and very well decorated. There is a very nice bar area with a bunch of TVs. Items were a little pricey, but based on the taste and quality of the meal, it's completely worth it. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a meal or a place to go sit and drink!

Went with about a half-dozen coworkers for happy hour on a Monday. While it felt like we were a little underdressed, the service was great, the kitchen was fast & they have a great beer selection. Prices on some of the entrees seemed high for what they are, but you can just chalk that up to location - it's on par for the neighborhood.

Horrible experience all around. Had reservations set for 10:30am on 3/11/23. We got seated and didn’t get serviced til 10:55am. My group of 4 ordered 4 bottomless mimosas and breakfast. Our mimosas came at 11:05am after placing our order. We finished our 4 mimosas but waited an additional 20 more minutes to get another round to be told bottom less mimosas ends at 11:30. Well why wasn’t that disclosed in the first place? Why did it take so long to not get serviced? Then our servers comes back with 3 mimosas stating “I’m not supposed to bring these so I did you guys a favor”. A favor where!? I was shortened a mimosa then she had the nerve to charge us all for bottomless mimosas. It was NEVER bottomless. Beyond disappointed with this place and won’t be returning. Don’t say you’re doing us a favor when you truly didn’t. You tried ripping us off. The only good thing that happened was having management remove the “bottomless” mimosa charge.

Rude waitress. Would not split into 6 checks even though the menu says 6 check max. Dropped off food and didn't check on us. I had to ask for a refill after having my drink empty 10 minutes. Still wants 19 percent auto grat. 2 stars because the manager was nice.

This restaurant is in the Fairmont hotel millenium Park. It is a nice place to hang out, especially at the bar. They have a good food selection and the food is very tasty. Of course it is a little expensive due to being in the hotel. But they have a great drink menu and the bartenders/mixologists are very knowledgeable and friendly. The girl at the bar, sorry that I can't remember her name, remember me from last year when I was there and made me a special blueberry mojito. Love this location because it is walking distance to everything.

I believe it’s an amazing after 4 pm place. Been there with the family for an early dinner. The amber ale was amazing, Elizabeth our host for the evening was welcoming. Great comfort food. The home chocolate dessert was a treat. An excellent ambience for the holidays. Will visit again. 5 stars.

We decided to stop in for a quick early weekday lunch today. It wasnt too busy allowing the servers to build rapport with us. Moe is an absolute gem, a proud Chicago native, who is happy to share tips and facts about his city. The fries that came with the turkey club were incredible, so hot and fresh. The recommended salmon salad was also very good. Overall we had a great experience.

Amazing food, Salmon Platter, yum. Best pancakes ever too. Moe one of the most interesting waiters I've ever met. Super conversation. Highly recommend restaurant. 👌

I've only had breakfast at Columbus Tap during our stay at the Fairmont, so my review is on the breakfast menu only. The service is warm, friendly, and attentive, even at 7am in the morning. The breakfast menu is limited, but the food quality is decent. I ordered their Millenium Breakfast on other days, which was OK as well. The breakfast menu is reliable and decent, but nothing special. Definitely works if you're staying at the Fairmont, but I can't imagine coming here to eat otherwise, because there are so many other better restaurants in Chicago to explore.

It was meh at best. We had the rosemary fries cooked in fat and the lobster Mac and cheese. Bland and soggy.

The food is consistently good here. We usually get one of the seasonal specials. Menu is not large. Sports bar atmosphere, but not loud and many normal booths and tables. Friendly staff.

Nice tap list, food was great. Little on the pricier side depending on what you get.

Breakfast review! So we ordered a Steak and eggs, and a tap combo. Had to wait about 40/50 minutes to get the food and it was pretty disappointing. The steak was cold and gristly, my fried eggs were cold and had runny whites. The potatoes that came with it were pretty tasty, though they were cold too. The steak rub was nice at least. My partner's "soft" poached eggs had hard yolks and were served in an eggy watery soup, also cold. The sausages were cold, and they somehow managed to burn the pancakes and still serve them cold. This all cost $71 plus gratuity. I would have been okay paying $30-odd at a truck stop for this food, but not $85 at a hotel restaurant

Great beer selection!! Food was very good. Loved the design of the place too.

The evening set menu was excellent for quality of food, taste and value. The waiters advice about the large selection of beers was informative and after a sample we were able to choice a variety over the evenings that offered us a range of lovely tastes. We were looked after extremely well by the people working in the kitchen, bar and restaurant. Thank you

Quiet restaurant to grab a bite to eat. The Millennium Breakfast plate was great! Waffles would avoid. Pork Nachos were pretty good - definitely a two-person dish to eat.

We celebrated a birthday here while staying at the Fairmont and could not have been more disappointed. The menu is standard gastropub food without any of the creativity but still very $$$. The beef tasted like frozen patties. The salmon was very fishy. I would choose any restaurant in the area over this one. I hope the Fairmont invests into revamping this restaurant.

The food is actually pretty good, that would be 4 stars. I usually don't let bad service affect my rating but it was truly just incredibly slow. We thought they forgot about us. Also, it was terribly cold and the vents were blowing out cold air for a while...

This place is amazing. You literally pay for what you drink since you’re your own server. Cocktails, beer, exotic drinks on tap you name it. Not to mention the board games and calming ambiance. Highly recommend you go with 3 or more friends on a cold night for maximum satisfaction.

Love this place❤️for many reasons. Love their happy hours even on Fridays and also the quiet, calm ambience in there, which is really tough to find in a gastrobar in the Chicago downtown area!! The food here is consistently good, and I absolutely love the bartender, Heather's cocktails too!! Would def go back there 😊

I was booked at the Fairmont (9/3-9/5) and decided to grab drinks the two nights I stayed there and it was an overall wonderful experience. The bartender Danny was absolutely a blast to be around and I couldn't recommend the bar or Danny enough to everyone, absolutely worth a trip to the bar alone!
