The playground at Galewood Park offers a decent play structure, the standard set of park swings, and a small water spray feature. The main play structure includes some interesting ladders and two slides. There is also a set of swings (toddler and belt seat) and a few small standalone 'animals on poles' for younger children. The water spray feature is a simple 'four sprayer' in a concrete circle. There are plenty of benches, one drinking fountain, and the fieldhouse is quite close for bathroom access (when open). The main play surface is soft rubber and the play area gets some morning shade but is mostly bright and sunny.

It's a small park but we can do many activities. They have many events for the community to go.

Im rating the screwed up picture..your not taking picture of the whole park. Where is the play ground, the clubhouse, tennis court, baseball courts. I grew up in this park....it was a fun and caring for the kids. The neighborhood was packed with kids every day at the park. Activities every day even in the winter. Ice skating rink down at the baseball diamonds. Wally the maintance man would be out there 5am in the morning spraying the water to make us that rink. Thank You Wally for all that you done for us. R.I.P. I learn alot from this park...and made Some new friends and still communicate with my old ones. Best neighborhood a kid would want to grow.up back in the 70, 80, 90.&2000

The other day I was shot dead but I later found out that they brought back the motherfukin basketball rims. So I got back into playing but the thing I got a problem is the number of slides. And the supervision. I mean people be calling me Casper and no one backs me up cuzz
