The architecture is stunning. The outside is unimposing, but as soon as you enter you are hit by the scale and space of the atrium. This is a hidden secret in the middle of the loop. Check it out!

Great architecture, nice restaurants, helpful staff. If you're a tourist or it's your first time inside, don't be afraid to ask the staff members for help. They're very friendly. The things inside the mall are reasonably priced. At the lowest floor, there's a food court with some bathrooms. You can access the Clark/Lake station directly from the mall through some stairs.

A beautiful building with government offices. Came here to make application for learner’s permit. The food court has a number of eateries, including this one, Panda Express.

Nearly all of the restaurants in the atrium food court are closed. They never reopened after the pandemic closure. It is impossible to get accurate information about what is open without physically going to the atrium.

This is NOT a shopping mall anymore, the security guy was nice about it but it's a state building now, nobody gets in without a pass

I was able to change my address, get the sticker for my plates all under 30 minutes. Eli was very friendly and helpful. There was one worker who clearly had an attitude and accused me of breaking her computer but over it was quick and smooth!

The Cadillac theater is a great place with many good shows and overpriced candy.

I love coming here because it’s one of those places in Chicago that leaves you breathless. The building is exquisitely crafted.

Conveniently located, this building is an interesting place to visit. The unique building shape makes it easy to find amongst the blocky towers nearby, plus there's a large sculpture outside. Our favorite part is the food court on the concourse level. Lots of basic food court fare, like Burger King and Sbarro, but there's a few more unique eateries too. Also, in the center of the food court level, behind the base of the elevators, is this giant circular design on the floor. Stand in the center (or sit) and look up to really appreciate the way this building was designed. It's a bit dizzying to look straight to the ceiling, and there's a cool echo from that spot too. Every time we go there, be it for lunch or to update my license at the DMV branch located here, my daughter and I play in this circle. I think it is her favorite spot in the city. Sad to hear it's looking at being torn down and replaced. It's a polarizing building (we love, hubbs haaaates it) but we've made some fond memories here - a shame it may not be there when my girl wants to take potential future babies here. We'll keep enjoying it while it lasts. You can only get to the lower level via escalator or one specific elevator, so if you're in need of elevator use, avoid early morning (pre 10), lunchtime, and about 4pm to close) - gets a little crowded, plus the elevator wait can be quite long. There's also access to the pedway there, should ya need to also visit city hall or something (city stickers, anyone?) This building houses many other companies as well, from GNC to Sprint to the USPS. They occasionally hold events with special vendors, especilly just before holidays (valentine's, mother's day, Christmas)...so be sure to check it out then.

Great food court. Awesome place to grab lunch. The food court has a huge variety of restaurants to choose from. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

To be completely clear--the food court is CLOSED, permanently. The building has been purchased by Google and is being converted.

The mall was fine. It looked like it had good selections of food, but I was disappointed to find the DMV closed. It had moved LaSalle according to a small sign.

It was a pleasant visit , everyone greeted you as soon as you came in the door... The person that gave me my driver's license was very nice and cordial... It was like it was a whole different feeling in that place , and I spent almost $200 renewing my driver's license and getting a rear sticker.. but I still came out with the smile 😁😁

Louisiana Kitchen is fabulous! The bourbon chicken is delicious! The portions are generous and choices of sides really brings it home!

It's a place where you can take care of almost any business you have with the state. Unfortunately that line to get to that Currency Exchange in the building was all the way to the entrance it was so long. Than they only had one person working in the CE too, terrible.

I came here to renew my driver's license. The security staff were very helpful in navigating building to get to the drivers services station, the restrooms, and the best exit for my bus ride home. The building itself needs some care, but I will say that the food court looks much better than it did the last time I was there to renew my driver's license. Better lighting and newer seating really makes a difference.

I went to the Gyro place. As I tried to order, he organized the condiment section, played with his cell phone, and refused eye contact. If you're Black, don't tip them. He is an a--hole every time I visit them.

I had to get License Plates at the SOS and I Must said the employees were very professional and polite. I and other customers were surprised. I would say "Thank you" to the SOS Employees at 100 W . Randolph for being professional and polite.

Good selection of atrium eateries. Have only been for license services. For all people like to complain about the DMV, they have people moving down to a science.

This place is beautiful, but after entering, we were told that it is a government facility. There are a few shops (mostly a food court), but I think that they are mostly for the government employees.

Wow! What a amazing mall to walk in! Many floors and amazing shops compared to the ones we have in Canada. I was really amazed by the beauty, and the quality of the stores. This place is Huge, and its a must experience place in Chicago, IL.
