We had a great, “dinner tapas,” experience here. We were in the area for other reasons and we stopped there for dinner. It wasn’t busy around 5-6ish, so we got seated right away. My daughter ordered a peach sangria, which was delicious when I tasted it as I went with the classic, Estrellas. We ordered cream of asparagus to start off with, then 5 tapas for our main course, so we could had a bit of every savourer tastes that we could expect from a Española restaurant in The US. Everything was delicious, I must say. We did not ordered the Paella it is usually very filling and because we wanted to ordered a variety of tapas dishes, which we did not regret at all. Service was excellent, ambiance very authentic, we were able to enjoy the, “Flamenco” show and price was reasonable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to explore another Country’s specialties. I would go back to tastes the others dishes that we didn’t order.

Food was amazing! I loved the Paella con Todo and their sangria. It's a little pricey, but it was worth it. Will come again for sure.

I don’t know whyyy this place is 4.3 star when it definitely should be a 5! Had the best best carne casera and house salad ever!! Sad that I don’t live in Illinois because I would definitely come back. (As you can tell)

An treasure on 3700 N Ashland. Go tapas and other spanish dishes. Really shines as a wine bar with excellent food. This is a real neighborhood spot where youcould go regularly. Doent get enough recognition as a chicago wine bar, never see it on a list. Should be

Food was above average tasting, we were just surprised by how expensive things were for what we got with the food. We got the croquetas, empanadas, sangrita, and patatas bravas. Service was fine.

An exceptional experience at Bulerias Tapas! The service was top-notch, the cocktails were crafted to perfection, and the food was beyond fantastic. The ambiance truly sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. A must-visit spot in Chicago for anyone seeking delightful tapas and an all-around great time!

They were a little slammed when we arrived, but soon caught up. The food was absolutely delicious, the flamenco dancer delightful, and staff was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be coming back.

I've dined in a couple of times as well as ordered take out (because the food is that good!). Each time, the food was delicious, perfectly portioned, and the staff was incredibly hospitable. The experience will not disappoint!

Food seemed like a trader’s joe frozen microwaved packages, and the server does not speak English. We’ve ordered a 19 crimes wine bottle that is 30 some dollars then we wanted to add two more, from what we understood (since the server does not speak English) that they are out of the 19 crime wine and he is bringing us a substitute of it. you would think they’ll stick to the same price. Turned out the extra two bottles that he brought us were 80 some dollar each. A scam, terrible food and worst service ever. Not worth 300$ for a party of four. No wonder why it’s always empty!!!!

Had an amazing experience. The ambiance was excellent and the service was immaculate. Having lived in Madrid for part of my life it was an excellent journey towards nostalgia. I would recommend the tortilla española, the queso de cabra, and the calamari.

We had a party with lots of food restrictions that was handled respectfully and knowledgeably by our server. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the artichokes, patatas bravas, and paella con todo. Drinks were great too!

Love this place so much. Not well known enough in Chicago and needs to be. You can tell they really care about what they do, and that’s why they are so great.

I went there late and was told they were closed, but the waitress said I could come in. I then found out she was the owner and she was so personable! I loved the jamón serrano & pincho de pollo. The rice was a bit dry, but the sauce was on point. Very nice place & owner. I highly recommend it. I can't wait for the flamenco music & dancers! 💃

My friend celebrated his birthday at this bar. He invited us to have some drinks. So we got here by evening and started to sit on the tables. We are 7 in the tables. Some of my friends didn't eat their dinner so we also ordered food and also drinks. I also ordered a steak dish since I want to try it if it is good. This place was so dim as expected that it was a bar. It was a little bit noisy inside. Some waiters serve us alcohol first. We just talk to each other and sip our drinks. After some minutes the food came. It has nice plating and serving. I tasted the steak and it was good but not the best. My friends like the dish that we ordered. We spent 3 hours here. Overall we enjoy having here.

Modern rustic with an old world flair. Absolutely delicious. My son and I went for dinner. We ordered red sangria, Ensenada Casa-house salad, Albondigas Espanolas-Spanish meatballs in homemade orange honey rib sauce served with saffron rice, Jamon Serrano con Queso-traditional Serrano ham with Manchego cheese and four tomato rubbed crostini, Datiles-four bacon wrapped dates and creme Brule for dessert. Heavenly. All of it. Salad was fresh, with subtle yet distinctive flavors. Meatballs were a lovely surprise of flavors and bacon wrapped dates were perfection. 4-5 entrées were perfect for 2 people. Absolutely going back. Service was perfect; prompt, and friendly.
