I had a very good experience with the staff and PA at Physicians Immediate Care at six corners on Cicero. It was easy to schedule a time slot online and track when it was gonna be my turn. The staff was nice and waiting area was clean and plenty of comfort even though I was in pain. The Nurse and PA that helped me were great and made me feel comfortable and helped resolve my problem quickly. Way better than having to wait around an ER and never know if you are gonna get bumped for an urgent issue.

By far the best Urgent Care place. Staff was super friendly, waiting area super clean. The nurse was amazing and the doctor was excellent! She was concerned about my finger and talked me through each step that she was going to do to help me. I was so relieved and happy! In the end my finger feels great and no long wait like I would've had to wait at the ER! I will definitely be back in the near future!

I had a sinus infection and went to the Immediate Care on Cicero because I knew I wouldn’t be able to see my doctor the same day. I was very impressed with how quickly I was able to register and and I only to wait 10 min before I was called in. The PA was great and very thorough. I was able to get an antibiotic that I desperately needed and went on my merry way. Everyone there is friendly and I would definitely go back when I’m not able to see my own doctor on such short notice.

Wonderful experience here today, booked online and filled out paperwork ahead of arriving, waited in my truck until they were ready for me. Waiting room was empty, clean with an anti-viral machine purifying the air. Fast, efficient, attentive, wonderful staff. Not that I hope I will be back soon, but would recommend PIC to anyone. I hope people are aware of what medical professionals are going through right now with the increased volume and demand but this group is doing amazing. Thank you Dr. Kate!

I had a knife accident that unfortunately needed stitches. I pre-registered online so my wait was less than 15 minutes. The nurse/medical assistant was so kind from the minute she entered the room. The doctor that took care of me was extremely nice! Great presence and made me feel less of a dud for accidentally stabbing myself. He noticed I was tense and kindly reassured me it’ll be quick and not likely to hurt as bad as I was building it up in my head. For reference I’m in my 30’s, that kind of care was very much appreciated even at my age. Amazing bedside manner from them both! 10/10 recommend!

Scheduled an appointment online for a covid test. Register identification and insurance beforehand. Arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment and was instructed to wait in my car as they would call me. An hour passed ,so I called to be told I was next in line and should expect a call in 5 minutes. Fast forward 40 minutes I call again and I'm told to come inside. I go inside fill out paperwork and I'm then told to continue waiting in my car. Why have an appointment? Then I finally receive a phone call saying they will not test me because I did an at home test that didn't have accurate results but could be positive.

Writing this as I sit in the lobby, 50 minutes past my "scheduled appointment time" that they really want you to arrive 15 minutes for. This place is okay, maybe even fine, but be prepared to spend at least two hours here irrespective of how busy it looks, the time of day, or how quickly they get you into a room. The providers are fine and they're less aggressive than they used to be about taking unnecessary X-rays. They do sometimes send labs to a vendor that will then bill you separately, even if you paid a copay and bill for what you thought were all the charges for the visit. It's now been 55 minutes. I guess I live here? Edited to add: why do I need to upload my license and insurance card every. Time. I. Make. An. Appointment. So aggravating, keep better records. Additional edit: an hour and 11 minutes after my "appointment" to get into an exam room. It's been an hour and 57 minutes and I'm still waiting to see a practitioner. Edit one month later: The diagnosis I received at this clinic was incorrect, which I found out at an appointment with an actual doctor (not a PA) that I made a week later when I had no change with the medication I was prescribed at this location. I'm sure they'll still bill me though.

I was able to set up my appointment online. I was also able to register online prior to getting there. Quick , easy, little waiting. Dr. Immediately knew from my story and symptoms and then taking a look what I had...Shingles. They even called in my medication order so I could go straight in after my appointment and pick it up.

This was my first time visiting this clinic and so glad I did. I took my daughter for fever and headaches. The medical assistant was so nice and made my daughter feel so comfortable. Dominic who attended my daughter went above and beyond to find the reason for her illness. He was so professional and playful at the same time to make my daughter laugh and make her comfortable. My daughter also enjoyed her visit, too. Thank you, my daughter is feeling much better!

I went in as a walk in and the experience with check in was quick & friendly. The waiting room was clean & had a sanitizing station including a device for keeping the air clean. The staff was very friendly, attentive and efficient. Thank you Melissa, Leslie and Erika for making me feel better while I was being treated. I definately recommend PIC for your immediate health care needs!

Was waiting in the car yesterday evening for over 40min until I decided to call office to see how come they haven't called me in. They claimed they didn't see my registration but when I came in the lady in the front desk was very impolite and condescending. Somehow she had all my info and didn't need my insurance, then just told me to follow the red arrows on the floor. I would give it more stars just for the nurses/doctor, but the front lady and the wait time were horrible.

I made an appointment before I came and arrived on time - though my paperwork was not complete so that took a couple minutes. Finally saw the provider for 15 seconds and was diagnosed with an ear infection- which was no surprise to me, I get them semi-regularly. He prescribed me antibiotics, but as it was already nearly 8pm by then and I had to work 7am-5pm the next day I suggested sending the prescription to a 24 hour pharmacy I thought I had found nearby on google maps. The provider came back a few minutes later, seemingly upset with me that the pharmacy I saw didn't exist. He basically tossed me a print out and told me I had to take it somewhere myself. I asked if they're was a different 24 hour pharmacy he could try and he verbatim told me "no we're closing and I don't have time." This is at 7:58 by the way- how long could submitting a prescription take? Sorry I wasted 4 minutes of your day, sir. And sorry it took you almost an hour to finally see me. Sorry I got sick and you had to treat me. Sorry I work 10 hour days and urgent care is the only option I have for care. Hopefully the numerous other tests he made me take (that I didn't really have symptoms for) don't cost an arm and a leg. Update: taking off a star because I’ve now gone to 2 pharmacies at my lunch break trying to fill this and it’s a 15 person deep line just to drop it off. So now I can’t even get this medication until tonight because my lunch is only 45 minutes. So screw this guy for refusing to send this prescription in with their completely automated system and effectively delaying care for 24 hours. And of course, when I try to call to ask for the prescription to be sent somewhere the phones are down.

My appointment: excellent from beginning to end. Honest fast and efficient. Reception to x-ray taken read and reported to me in under 50 minutes. I've seen health care in multiple countries not be this efficient. They are a terrific establishment with wonderful doctors PAs nurses and aides and I thank them all. Also: Took care of step dad; Excellent Doctor / PA / RN handled a lung issue flawlessly and our family couldn't be more appreciative. This was a few months back and he'd much better.

We visited the six corners location on 12/08/23 for my daughter's wrist injury. I have a strong ER background and I am in Health Care Leadership, which gives me insight on how reviews work. The whole team is impacted by a positive or negative review, not just one individual. Therefore, this review is based on an overall positive experience. PRO's: -Wait time was just under 1 hour. -TRIAGE tech was courteous, professional, and honest in regards to a wait time for Radiology tech to arrive. He even offered to put a movie on while we waited. -Radiology Tech arrived in under 30min. She was both courteous and professional. She apologized for the wait time we experienced until she arrived. She did an exceptional job at positioning during imaging, allowing Radiologist clear views of areas of concern. -PA Jessica B was very thorough in her assessment of my daughter, courteous and professional during interaction and when providing education related to my daughter's injury and aftercare. CON: -Front desk staff has room for growth in regards to professional interaction and empathy with patients and family members.

After I made an appointment and pre-registered the day before, they told me that my active insured was inactive, they wouldn't do anything to check on it, told me I had to take care of it myself, and completely passed my appointment by while they made me handle it. The doctors and nurses are great, but the rudeness of the desk staff was enough to never make me want to come here again

Overall very easy experience, I forgot my insurance card but luckily it was already in the system. Very quickly attended and left with medication that cleared my symptoms within hours. 5/5 reccomend! I have gone to various sites in the city and by far excellent across the board.

Kathryn Bosteel, the provider who treated my ankle injury, was so kind and knowledgeable! She and her coworkers made me feel very taken care of and made a stressful experience much better. You can tell the staff here is full of empathy, attentiveness, and expertise and what else could you ask for!

I had gone to another location who had no Doctor / PA and was turned away. My toddler had a cough and ear ache. When I arrived they had already stopped taking walk-ins. My wife had reached out via phone about insurance but didn’t know we should have booked a time. The staff was great and the PA saw my child.

I have been to this physicians immediate care a few times. I scheduled a time online to go and never waited more than a few minutes upon arrival. The nurses and doctors are professional, courteous and caring. Very convenient. I highly recommend.

The entire staff was friendly, courteous, respectful, and very professional. I showed up early for my appointment and they ended up taking me almost right away. Even though I was in discomfort and some pain, they made it a pleasant experience and took very good care of me.

I have waited an hour after I walked in. I was the first one but people with appointments got in first. Check in process is fast and easy. The doctor was late and I didn't feel he cared much. The whole visit with the doctor took less than 2-3 minutes. I have been prescribed medicine which had bad side effects, and I couldn't reach out to the same doctor for advice.

Nice building with dedicated parking is definitely a plus in Chicago! Short wait time after making appointment online. Front desk person could have been a little less “drill sergeant-like”. Medical staff and doctor took time to explain everything and I felt I had a very complete exam. Very satisfied with everything. Would go again.

This urgent care was completely unsanitary. Obvious trash on the floor. There was no paper on the bed, crumbs and hair on the bed. When moved to the other room, was also dirty. Medication did not work, so I have been calling constantly to get In touch with a doctor but nobody has called me back. When I call, the receptionist seemed almost annoyed that I am trying to get in contact when someone while I’m in pain. Don’t go here

The facility is clean with plenty of parking. The front staff were nice and friendly but my reason the 5 star is due to the triage nurse and Doctor. The triage nurse was very knowledgeable, friendly, comforting and got his job done. The Doctor explained my condition thoroughly and in human terms, I felt that he truly was listening and not just looking at the time, hand me a prescription a bill and be done. He made me feel like he truly wanted me to understand my diagnosis and that all my questions were answered and understood. We even shared a joke. I wish he had his own practice so he could be my PCP.

amazing staff from check in to out. Leslie was super sweet and positive and for anxious patients like me that is truly a breath of fresh air. Thank you for having such a professional staff that takes patient care seriously especially for people who are nervous about medical visits. Highly recommended to everyone.

The wait was fairly accurate. About 30 minutes. Way better than an ER where you sit for an hour + and wait again for a doctor an hour + and then wait again to check out. I was in and out in an hour. The check in nurse was super friendly and Dr Schatz was attentive and listened. I’ll go back there anytime in the future. Highly recommend making online so you don’t have to wait there in person.

I had middle of the night symptoms of a panic attack that I thought might have been a cardiac event. I booked an appointment here for the next morning. Sandy who gave me an EKG is amazingly kind and Dr. Patel was also very compassionate and thorough. Bedside manner matters so much in a healthcare scenario and I could not be more grateful or impressed. I will return here if I ever need medical treatment.

I was able to schedule in advance. Once I arrived they asked me to go back to my car for phone screening. Since I was coming for a Covid test with symptoms that makes sense to keep everyone safe. Once they invited me in, I waited 15 minutes to be seen. The PCR test was professionally done. ( I know because it was REALLY uncomfortable.) Result was quick.

I appreciated the professionalism of the person who checked me in. She was kind and efficient, she didn’t make me feel bad for coming without an appointment or toward the end of the evening. The nurse who brought me to my room and the PA were also professional and kind. The x Ray technician could have been more patient. Also, I would have appreciated someone to check in with me or tell me the process during the 45 min+ that I waited for my x-Ray to be read without knowing what I was waiting for. The person who helped me went above and beyond to open doors and walk with me beyond the clinic doors. it was a superior experience to waiting many more hours in the ER.

No access to bathrooms until you go inside and the place looks like it’s a war zone. They have paper signs posted and taped all over glass walls. Does not look clean at all. Also what is the point of making an appointment for a simple test if you’re going to have to wait over 30 minutes just to get in. The staff was nice so that’s a plus. Not sure if I’ll be using this location again. It’s worth driving a few miles to a “better” part of town.

5+ STARS! The staff is courteous, extremely professional, informative & they all treat you with kindness and respect. The parking is clearly marked by signs for where to park and where not to park. Also, you will be directed to upload your ID & Ins info for the online registration (only takes a few minutes & the staff can assist you if needed). I will take myself & family to this facility as they treat you like family & made me feel comfortable & more knowledgeable in regards to my needs on my visit. Thank you for a positive experience for my 1st visit!

I would give them zero stars if I could. I went to this location for a simple COVID-19 test after my roommate was exposed, and we both started developing symptoms. I gave them my insurance, and they said everything was fine. I talked to the doctor for like two minutes, they did the test, gave me a negative result, and I was out the door. It is now September 3rd, and a bill from them arrived in the mail for-get this- $382.00! They are charging me $382.00 for a COVID TEST! I called them and they said they were allowed to because they are a “private practice.” and that my insurance completely denied it. I called my insurance company, and found out the ACTUAL reason, was because physicians billed it as an office visit, instead of a COVID-19 test because (and they will deny this.) By Illinois law, they are not allowed to charge for a COVID-19 test. So they charged it as an office visit, which my insurance company saw as out of network, and denied. How soulless do you have to be to knowingly lie about someone getting a Covid-19 test, so you can charge them $382.00 for it. My insurance company wasn’t even surprised, which to me says that this is not a rare occurrence. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE (NEW) PLAGUE!

Great people working here. Had to wait a little bit because I was a walk-in, but they have an option to make an appointment. Even as a walk-in I was seen fairly quick. Super professional and I felt comfortable during my visit. I was able to get a Covid rapid test and got results within 15 min.

It was easy to make an appointment on-line. They have you wait in your car while they triage your condition. While the wait time was a bit long. once seen and diagnosed things moved a little faster. Staff was professional and polite.

I highly recommend Physicians Immediate Care to anyone needing medical care in a none life threatening moments. I've used this location many times before and have always had professional, respectful, and friendly service rendered towards me and they are fast. I would highly recommend anyone to stop by and utilize them if you're in need of medical care and can do without going to the emergency room or not able to see your doctor right away.

This was frustrating. I made an appointment for 2:10 and at 1:55 received a message to checkin. At checkin, the receptionist said the wait would be an hour to hour and a half. I suggested we leave and come back in an hour, but she said if I leave, I lose my place in line. Apparently I have to appear within 5 minutes of being contacted. So, they can make me wait up to 1.5 hours but they won't wait for me more than 5 minutes? There are 5 other clinics within 10 minutes of this one (in fact, this is the most run down and unfriendly clinic I've visited in the city.). With all that competition, they should revise their policies to honor appointment times and focus more on the patients. So here I am on a hot memorial day, with a painful condition, waiting in my car to be called. There are better ways to handle this.

I was very pleased with my experience at this location. I made an apt for a Covid PCR test after being exposed, 24 hours in advance of my visit. I was able to check in online 15 mins prior to my apt and was directed to a waiting list on my phone that showed my place in line. When I arrived I was pointed to a private waiting area where I felt very comfortable. I was called within 5 mins of my arrival, given the test, and received my results in person during my visit within 15 mins. I’d definitely recommend this location after my experience!

They are my go to when I can't wait for an appointment or go to the ER. They are fast and reliable. The staff is very professional and friendly. Their phlebotomist, she rocks. Many of them can't find my vein and constantly poke me leaving me black and blue. She did an excellent job and no marks or bruising after. I've been going to this locations for 10yrs now and never had an issue.

If I could give no stars, I would. I had a 5:10 appointment for covid test. I was told to wait in my car and wait for a phone call. Received the phone call at 5:10 and then I was told to wait for another phone call in order to go in for my test. I waited 59 minutes. I called to get an update no one picked up. I work in Healthcare, I understand things happen. However, an update or even an apology for the wait would have been greatly appreciated. I will NOT be coming back to this location. HORRIBLE experience all around.

From start to finish, my experience was wonderful. I came in with symptoms of cough, earache, sore throat. The receptionist was lovely. The wait time was reasonable. The tech that brought me into the room was very responsive and efficient. The physician assistant covered what needed to be covered very nicely. And the doctor was very helpful and very kind.

The care I got at Physicians Immediate Care was excellent. The staff at the front desk were kind and accommodating, the PA I saw at the Cicero location was great and gave me everything I need to treat my injury. While they are short staffed (some locations don’t have X-ray techs at the moment), all of the staff I interacted with were great.
