Tour could have been a little longer. I say that only because there is so much Chicago Mob history to cover, and it had to be crammed in an hour and half tour.. With that being said, I still do recommend this tour! Michael was funny and very knowledgeable. **Tip.. Pay attention, because there is so much information to cover in a short period of time.

OMG!!! What a fabulous and fun tour!! John was an amazing historian and guide. He was funny and so friendly. I live in Chicago but wanted to know the mobster history. So my husband and I decided on this rare warm and sunny Sunday in November, to do just that. Not one disappointment. We will do this tour again with friends and family. Sorry, I didn't take a lot of pictures. Was too busy enjoying.

I went on the night tour last Monday and I really enjoyed my time! It was worth the price we paid for the tour! Our host was really informative and had a number of books, movies and TV shows we could watch to add to our experience. I'm super into Boardwalk Empire now! I had never been to Chicago before, so this was a nice way to get the lay of the land and a bit of history to boot. Our host encouraged us not to film and think of it as a performance and it was. The 2.5 hours just flew by as I soaked up the history. I urge anyone visiting Chicago to take this tour, you will not be disappointed!

We had an amazing time on this tour! It was so much fun to hear all the fascinating stories about Chicago's past. Our guide had even more thrilling tales to share about recent crimes. The stops we made around the city, where we could see the exact locations, really made the stories come alive. And at the end of the tour, we were pleasantly surprised with an awesome treat that we didn't even expect. Overall, it was an incredible experience!

Great experience, even though I have been living in the Chicagoland area for nearly 30+ years I still learned so much more about the Notorious history of my city while on this tour. Very exciting, very informative but most of all very fun and enjoyable for my entire family. I definitely would recommend this site seeing tour for anyone (Locals or Visitors) staying in the area. FYI the closet parking to pickup location would be across the street at the Ritz Carlton Water Tower Garage. Thank you Chicago Crime Tours for a wonderful experience.

Leah told the best, bad jokes. She engaged with the whole group and had us laughing and paying attention. Make sure you get her as a guide! She's got a few hidden gems to tell you about too! This tour was great. I recommend it to anyone interested in crime!

It was an easy to find location with great access from Michigan Ave. Katie our Tourguide was fun and informative. I lived in Chicago for many years and had no idea of some of the locations! A fun tour with a fun staff. Also we got to see a lot in a short time. My only removal of one star is because I wish they would offer a military discount.

I think the tour was well worth the money. I went by myself and on the bus were 2 other couples, so 5 of us in total. It seems that it is a lot more enjoyable with a larger, more engaging group, but I still had a great time talking with our guide and learning about the unique history of Chicago Crime. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting. Also, shout out to our driver Tommy and the guide Shay (or at least I'm pretty sure that was her name).

Overall GREAT experience! Katie did an amazing job! She kept the tour fun and moving, threw in some great jokes and made the experience so enjoyable. She also checked in a few times to make sure everyone was doing okay! I walked away knowing way more about Chicago’s history and the mob scene than I did before and I would honestly take this tour again just because it was so interesting!!

Absolutely fantastic bus tour. Highly highly recommend this one for anyone’s trip to Chicago. Our tour guide, Leah, was so knowledgeable and genuinely interested in what she was talking about. It really enhanced the experience. Also just so many cool pieces of info shared on this tour. Love love love!!!

So much fun! Our tour guide was engaging and informative. We learned a lot of interesting crime trivia and enjoyed the stops. Perfect length (1 hr 45 min) and great value!

Mike was our tour guide. Very approachable and fun! The tour had just the right amount of stops and getting on and off of the bus. The facts about crime were interesting, informative, and not overwhelming. I think this is a great tour for friends and couples. A great way to see the city and scope out lunch spots! Got lots of fun pictures and great stories to share with others.

Amazing! Chicago is my favorite city, and I visit frequently. I may or may not have a slight obsession with Chicago mob history, and this tour was incredible. I went on the night tour, and definitely recommend it. Especially on a perfect Chicago summer eve. Our guide was John, he was knowledgeable, fun & didn’t make it feel at all like he was reading from a script. Highly recommended!

The Crime Tour was fantastic. With all I did when my friend and I went it was honestly my favorite part. COVID friendly. The bus was air conditioned, the seats were very comfortable, the driver was delightfully friendly, and the guide Javier was fun, knowledgeable, and friendly. I liked that we got out to walk a bit to the places worth walking to. Seeing where Dillinger died was awesome. I don't want to spoil any surprises the tour may have in store for future guests. But I would 100% pay to go on this tour again. If you are a crime buff like myself you will find yourself quite at home on this tour of the city.

Do this tour. We had an awesome guide, he even got the bus deep dish pizza. Very knowledgeable. Fun, and entertaining. Get on and off the bus at different locations.

The tour was entertaining and full of historical information. We had a great time and learned so much! They went above and beyond when we returned home 1000 miles away and damaged our pamphlet. They promptly mailed us a replacement. I highly recommend this tour if you're visiting the Chicago area.

I must say, Chicago Crime Tours was very interesting. I got the tour for my wife but I think I got more out of it then her, lol! Katie(I think that was her name) was very good as our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and funny. Thanks, Chicago Crime Tours 🙂🙂

Amazing tour! The host was so knowledgeable. All of the information combined with the hilarious delivery made the two hours go by so fast! Great way to see the city and learn a little of the seedy history that comes with the splendor that is Chicago. We will be taking this tour every time we come back. I highly recommend this to anyone with a pulse. Two thumbs way up.

We had a fabulous time on our tour. I lived in Chicago for years and walked by many of the spots that were pointed out today on tour as major crime scenes. So interesting! The tour was very clean and professional and our tour guide Jay was outstanding. Would absolutely recommend!

Had such a great time on August 10th on the 4pm tour with Jay - super entertaining, full of rich history and hilarious. Kept me interested the entire time. We went as a group for a work-team building event. The last stop at Harry Carey’s had me super impressed that I went back the next night for dinner (and had a great time there too). I even went back and checked out the Carbon and Carbine building and the largest Chicago McDonalds. It was super fun. Short enough that I didn’t get bored but good value for the money. It was nice to be able to sit down in an air conditioned bus too. Highly recommend.

John was such a great guide…so knowledgeable, funny and full of fun extra tidbits. The tour was fascinating. Not at all cheesy like many tours can be. We did the night tour and glad we had the longer time and it seemed fitting to do it in the dark with the city lights. I recommend!

This was a great tour filled with so much information. Reasonably priced, great tour guide and a good way to see and hear about parts of downtown Chicago. Recommend the tour for those who visit Chicago.

Had a great time with our interactive guide Katie, could tell that she was energetic and loved what she did. The tour itself was very good visiting iconic places and talking about some things not taught in school.

My brother and I enjoyed this trip a good deal! It was nice learning more about the Prohibition era and how it affected Chicago in numerous ways. John, our tour guide, was lively, informative, and humorous. It's an excellent way to get more of your visit to Chicago-- getting filled in on some great local history!

We booked this last minute and it was so much better than I expected. Jay was a great tour guide, and I only wish it was longer. Chicago has such a colorful and storied history and this tour just piqued my interest to discover more.

This tour was a lot of fun. We went with two other couples and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The bus was comfortable with large windows that were easy to see out of and had several monitors inside that played videos at various parts of the tour. Our guide kept us engaged throughout the tour and was very knowledgeable about the subject matter. We learned about all sorts of criminals, several who were quite popular at the time. The tour made a couple of stops where we were able to see the location John Dillinger was killed and some historical displays inside Harry Caray's. The tour took about an hour and 45 minutes and I thought was reasonably priced.

👍👍 This tour was absolutely amazing! 👍👍 Took the Chicago Chinatown food and cultural tour. Our guide, Jeff, was awesome. He was kind and helpful, checking on the participants to ensure everyone was doing well. 🫤 Well the tour was over by 4:00 and it was supposed to be over at 5:00. We didn’t see much, just up the shore line, not the stuff listed on the website. Not worth the money. There’s a deal, but only if you pay cash and the website doesn’t clearly portray that…we won’t do it again with this place. Gui...
