Dr. Mirkovic is the best! My brother had an injury in his right toe and even though we came before closing and with no appointment she still took her time and looked at the x-ray and gave us relief by telling us it was not broken. Next day we came and she took care of his broken nail and was very caring/gentle throughout the whole procedure. Even the assistants/receptionists are so kind and patient.

Fantastic experience. Both friendly and professional. Team members are genuinely caring and concerned about any issues. Just found my podiatrist for life.

Really frustrated. Went in for an ingrown toe problem. Everyone was friendly nice but rushed me through paperwork in the procedure room. I asked how much the procedure would cost before insurance (I know they can’t tell me what insurance would cover). I was told it would be $400 for the procedure before insurance. I agreed to the procedure because it would be a $400 procedure. Left the appointment. Received my bill and my insurance was not charged $400 but was charged over $700 and my bill was just under $400. Completely blindsided I called the billing department. I waited a week after calling billing and explaining the situation to only be told by the Dr. Office that it went to my deductible. The problem isn’t that my insurance didn’t cover more the problem is my insurance was over charged in the first place. Will not be returning because the lack of honesty about billing.

I was previously under the care of a Dr that retired so I needed to find a new to me podiatrist. I could but have been happier with the treatment I received and Dr Sheffey and the staff were very nice

I called and asked that their description says “Medicare and Medicaid accepted” and then they said we don’t accept Medicaid and I’m in dire help of my Ingrown and they said they only accept blue cross im very disappointed

Dr Sheffey is a very good doctor. I had major surgery on my foot 12yrs ago, currently I'm being treated for a fracture in my foot. I would refer anyone who need a foot doctor to see Dr.Sheffey and his staff..

She provides a level of detail that helps you to truly understand your condition..her professionalism and patience is admirable… My condition has improved drastically since seeing Dr Mirkovic. I’m walking without pain for the first time in a very long time. I actually thought there was no hope for me regarding improvement. I met Dr Merkovic while I was in the hospital. I needed my toe amputated and she was the doctor assigned to my case. I could not have asked for a better doctor and surgeon. She is by far the best doctor I have ever treated with. I highly recommend her and this clinic. You will not find a better doctor than her.

Dr Sheffey treated my 9yr old son. Explained everything to him before doing anything which put him at ease. When he finished he thoroughly explained what we should do at home and also gave recommendations of how to prevent this from happening again.

Dr. Mirkovic was wonderful. She explained my condition in detail and reviewed the X-rays and ultrasound pointing out the area of concern. She gave me several treatment options and the pros and cons of each option. Dr. Mirkovic had such a way of making me feel comfortable and answered all my questions in a way that I knew exactly what was going on.

The health of my feet for the last 10+ years is due to Dr. Sheffey. From Bunions and hammertoes and diabetic care his expertise has been exceptional! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Mercovic is the best doctor I’ve had. She takes her time and explains everything to you in detail. She is very compassionate. She also is a great surgeon. I highly recommend her and this clinic.

I experienced ankle pain and I was concerned due to the fact that I had surgery on the ankle over 40 years ago. Dr. Sheffey diagnosed the problem and administered a cortisone shot while he showed me some stretching exercises to perform daily. Its now been going on 6 weeks and my ankle is feeling so much better. I highly recommend Chicagoland Foot and Ankle and Dr. Sheffey if you are experiencing any problems with your ankle or feet.

Dr. Sheffey was professional . He asked me about my medical history, my foot and ankle pain and then examined my feet/ankles. Next xrays were taken. Dr Sheffey explained to me what's going on with my ankle and feet and made a script for Physical therapy. He put an ankle brace and that helped quite a bit. Also orthotics were being prepared and will be ready asap. I will be back when the orthotics are ready . Dr. Sheffey and all the members present were very kind. I definitely recommend Chicagoland Foot and Ankle to anyone needing a podiatrist.

The office staff is super friendly and professional. They make you feel comfortable. There is never a long wait they take care of you quickly. The doctor was very knowledgeable and quick to let you know what is wrong and what is the plan to make you feel better.

Stumbled upon Dr. Sheffey and Chicagoland Foot and Ankle by accident, made an appointment also checked other reviews and decided to have a double bunionectomy. Dr. Sheffey did an excellent job. I have already starting raving about his work, love his bedside manners, he explained the precedure to be done and answered all my questions. I am eternally grateful!!

This was probably the easiest, quickest, and most pleasant experience I’ve ever had in a medical setting. Everyone was so pleasant and knowledgeable !! The only “downside,” was, of course, insurance. Apparently BCBS union insurance just puts PPO on their card for fun, knowing it’s HMO 🥲 But I would rather go back to Chicagoland Foot and Ankle and pay out of pocket, than go through my insurance and find some clinic. Worth it !!!
