Rob and Ruby’s have now been open for nearly four years, I first visited when they opened, and they have gone from strength to strength, having survived all the covid restrictions with lockdowns and take away only. They just launched their new paninis which are based on Focaccia bread with delightful fillings. The paninis are made to order and available in with meaty fillings, plant based and two vegan options. I had two, the Mamma with ham, pecorino cheese, sun dried tomatoes and salad. And the plant-based Firenze with peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes peppers and salad. They also serve great Italian coffee with Cakes and Italian delicacies for a lighter snack. Seating outside and in plus take away. Highly recommended This was my previous review This is a new start up cafe and my second visit of many to come. Located in the harbourside and Anchor Road. I had the meal deal with freshly made panini, high quality crisps and tea. Highly recommended and the service was excellent and the team is friendly and knowledgeable. As you can see in the image a 3pin if socket and sub for those on the go and mobile.

It's a really nice place to just sit and relax (went on a Saturday morning), and it is laptop friendly. The coffee seems ethically sourced (although I am big light roast fan, which they don't have on that day)--the mug of coffee is big and warm, just like the shop keepers. I think he is the owner but I didn't confirm with him. I'm a tourist and not likely a returning customer, but he still gave me an extra boat tart on the house. They were good. It's an inclusive and welcoming place!

Staff were friendly but rushed off their feet. The pastries were amazing, the hot chocolate was a little anodyne but not sickly sweet and we've had worse. The coffee was much better than you will be served with, in Costa or Starbucks.

I’ve come in a few times whilst walking the dogs with my friend. This place is an absolute gem, the staff are super friendly and the coffee and food is amazing. Tried the pistachio iced latte today and it might be the most delicious coffee I’ve ever had

We stopped here at the weekend for the first time. What a great place! The cake selection was great, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and a good location. Prices were a real bargain too.

Exceptional range of pastries, and good quality coffee. We visited on our last day in Bristol but will make sure to visit again next time.

A great little coffee and cake place for two. Seating limits mean you probably couldn’t have more than that but it’s excellently set up for laptop working with a coffee and cannoli to keep you going, with free wifi and a ton of charging points next to the seats.

Nice coffee and food, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere. Though, there could have been a table or two better suited to sit three people as opposed to two.

Update Nov 2022: again very pleasant kind polite service and nice coffee and small cheaper cake or piece of cake, such option makes it a good option in that way too. Another 5 stars! a year on. Thank you to the cafe and its staff here. Very good, I reckon. 2021 original review was : Nice coffee, served in very simple polite good way, very pleasant relaxed atmosphere, and kind polite respectful staff. In nice modern style location behind the Cathedral over the road here. Tasty looking panini/panino just about to enjoy too I think. Will be coming again!, I think. Nice outdoor seating options too. Simple small modern decor place, with good nice coffee, and more. A nice quiet music mix too for an alternative to others about in the 2020s.

Not the biggest, but not lacking in delicious coffee and pastries, as well as a friendly team. It hasn't got quite the atmosphere of my absolute favourite Bristol cafes, but nonetheless, it's very good. A good place to sit and relax if you're around Millennium square. I highly recommend the amazing cannoli

Really nice coffee and panini, limited hot options food wise, but cakes looked nice too.

Great little cafe to sit and enjoy an iced tea we enjoyed sitting in the air con and watching people outside. Great spot to chill & chat. The toilet could do with being cleaned / checked a bit more often though.
