The cave is set within the limestone hills, offering a unique geological spectacle with intricate stalactite and stalagmite formations. The entrance to Alutila Guha leads adventurers through a series of narrow passages and chambers, creating an immersive experience as they navigate the subterranean realm. The cave's interior features a network of tunnels, and some areas are adorned with stunning mineral formations that have evolved over centuries. One of the distinctive aspects of Alutila Guha is the presence of underground streams, adding an extra layer of enchantment to the exploration. If you need a little adventure in your life then go for it. I had fun through the cave journey. But I would suggest people with claustrophobia to stay away from this kind of adventure.

Beautiful place. Very little and narrow space to passing the cave from entry to exit. Inside the cave it’s little bit cold. Was there with my family. I was carrying my four and half years son in my back to cross the cave. My son enjoyed the place. It's my first time at Alutila though i have visited several times at Khagrachhari. It’s outside Khagrachhari town.

Alutila Guha (Cave) is one of the tourist attraction in Khagrachari. The cave is bit adventurous got general people but very for those who have experience on hiking. Inside the cave, its dark and the surface is bit slippery. There is possibility to get slipped if your are not sincere enough while walking inside cave. The thing I mode hate was the water pipe line inside the cave. Beside some tourist are so careless that they left Chips package and cold drinks bottle. It's really deep dark, you can't see anything just beside you. So, don't forget to carry any electronic light or flash mobile. If you are a cardiac patient, recommended not to enter into the cave. Nice place to adventure .

I have never visited a cave before. I was scared when I entered into the cave. It will give you a gruesome feeling when you will be inside the cave. Make sure you have a torch, you can use flashlight of your phone, but in my view a torch can be a better solution as it is really dark inside.

Alutila Cave is the name of a natural cave located at Alutila Tourist Center in Khagrachhari district of Chittagong Hill Tracts. To the locals, Alutila Cave is known as ‘Matai Hakar’ or ‘Cave of the Gods’. The length of Alutila cave is 350 feet. It is always dark inside the cave so you need a torch to enter the cave. If you want, you can take a mobile torch or charge light as an alternative to the torch. Moreover, the stones inside the cave are quite slippery so good grip shoes should fall off. Before entering Alutila Cave, you have to collect a ticket from the main gate for 40 rupees. It only takes 10 to 15 minutes to enter from one end of the cave and exit from the other end. And there is Risang spring near Alutila cave.

A wonderful place to go, a natural cave. It is recently developed as quite a big park around the cave and nearby hills. Hanging bridge between hills are there as well. Khagrachori city is seen from these hills and looked very nice. It requires nearly 600 Staircases to go down to the cave entrance. Natural cave itself is very dark. Strong flashlight requires to go inside. Entry fee is 40 taka only. Big Parking space available. Paid restroom available. A popular park.

It was great to experience naturally exotic beauty. Though bats used to stay in guha, I have not seen such scene.

  • 5/5 Mohammad AR T. 7 months ago on Google • 40 reviews
The guha is small. It take 10 to 15 min to cross. But to feel it all you have to enter at early morning when there no crowds at all. Best if you have 3 to 4 persons group. It is risky in rain and due to darkness you could fall in slippery rock. And there is a streem running down on your feet. So if it rains then the current becomes strong and make it much risky. You cant find and lantern or moshal. You have to use your personal light. Like phone or torch something.

Very cool weather inside Guha. You feel different when you enter Guha. More beautiful the Julonto bride and the other side theater and more.

The Greek-like infrastructures in the place were truly excellent, with the hill view. The sunrise and sunset were both stunning, with clouds right under me and a beautiful red horizon during dusk. Although the cave may have been a bit frightening, it was still an interesting sight to see. Overall, incredible time and some unforgettable memories.

The cave is weird for nature lovers, who want to hear about nature, must walk once through the cave path, it takes 15 minutes to walk through the cave, but it may take a little longer if you walk slowly or are scared. It is better not to go for those who are overly scared, weak in heart. Many tourists flock to walk through this cave or enter it.

The locals call it Matai Hakar or the cave of the gods. It is a well-known tourist destination in Khagrachari. This cave is very dark and cool. You have to enter with a torch as no sunlight enters. The bottom of the tunnel is slippery and rocky and a fountain is flowing at its bottom. The cave looks a lot like an underground tunnel which is about 350 feet long. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to get in and out of the cave. The height of the cave is sometimes very low so you have to walk on your knees. Naming: The former name of Alutila is Mount Arbari. It was an adventure trip. There were 4 of us. We enter the Alutila cave together. The inside was pitch dark and damp. Although a lot of water flowed through the cave during the rainy season, but now it was spring and very little water was flowing through the cave. Many more people, including four of us, entered the cave. Some of them were scared but I was very normal. Walking through the pitch dark and damp cave was not an easy task. He spoke softly in the cave, but it was loud and echoing. We entered through one end of the cave and exited on the other. It was an adventurous and enjoyable adventure.

Alutila Cave is roughly 200-250 meters long, it is not much of a problem to get from one side to the other. A little water and some stones are seen while walking, there is a possibility of getting a little pain if the foot slips, there is no risk of danger. The feeling of going inside the cave is different, you have to walk the path in the dark with flashlight. The amusement park is built around the Alutila cave and the entrance fee is only 40 taka. Alutila Park is full of indescribable natural beauty.

The best adventure I've ever had in my life. It's rely fun and interesting. But can be dangerous if you're not that physically fit. You might need assistance specially if you're aged or a woman or a child. But visiting this place is a must. It is recommended to keep your shoes outside before you start going down by the stairs.

Alutila Cave, also called Alutila Mysterious Cave (Bengali: আলুটিলা গুহা) is a cave located in Matiranga Upazila in hill district of Khagrachari, Bangladesh. The cave formed inside the 1000-meter-high hill named Alutila (potato hill) or Arbari Hill. The hill area is surrounded by deep green forest. The cave is 100 meters long. It has a natural subway-like shape with cold water flowing at bottom. The cave is so dark that torches or locally sold flambeaux are used to see well enough to walk around the cave.

A good experience of a dark cave, with a little breeze of water flowing. The best part of it is being not slippery at all.

The experience is supposed to be out of the world. However, it isn't because of the crowd. This is a very small cave. The main speciality of the cave is, it is very raw. No lights or no walkways have been created. So, you would walk through a complete natural path and that is the main charm of the experience. It is a bit scary but totally doable if you have good shoes. Your shoes are going to get wet. So, wear a sandal with good grip. Don't visit in rainy season as there will be lot of water inside then. This unique experience of walking through a completely natural cave is ruined by too many people visiting the cave at the same time. If authorities would allow a certain number of people in an hour, it would be actually great. Apart from the cave, the complex has beautiful viewpoints overlooking tareng hill. Overall, the place is clean, only little littering done at the cave entrance

It takes about 15-20 minutes to pass through this tunnel. When you love a little adventure you should go for this cave....This experience through the cave will give you a lifetime thrill! 😎

The name of the place is Alutila Tourist Center. There is an open view point next to the mouth of the cave. In the dark, you have to enter the rocky cave on one side and exit on the other side. I didn't get much of an adventure because there are so many people. But it didn't feel so bad. Earlier people used to carry flare to enter the cave. But now everyone has a flash light on their mobile phone. I read the story of the cave in my childhood books. This time we met in reality. The way out of the cave was very slippery and steep. Surely injured once the foot slips.
