A nice road to go . This Marine Drive road runs along the sea beach from Patenga point until Halishahar beach. Its a nice place to be there. It looks quite beautiful in the evening while the sun is setting on the sea. The road devider is too high, thus one cannot see the beach from opposite side.

This road is as perfect as we see in the movies! The road that you wish may never ends. Road goes by the side of the sea. One side of the road is the water and the other side is the industries. Thousand of boats like shampan, dingi etc are seen usually. In some places it gives the vibe of a sea beach and local people come from far to visit the beauty. Small chars can also be seen. The most attractive view for me was the fishermen who were repairing their boats to sail. This road is the point of attraction for the Chittagong local people to visit during their vacation or weekend.

The road is absolutely gorgeous. The view is breathtaking. But there are so many rash riding amateurs motorcyclists. Be careful of them. But the army camp makes sure to try their best in keeping the place safe for the locals and tourists. Make sure to go all the way to Patuartek if you go on a ride on the Marine Drive road. You can also hire local Battery powered Rickshaws which will take about 400-800 BDT (Based on the tourist population or peak time).
