You can take a shortbreakt at Chimbuk hill on your way to Nilgiri,the most popular tourist spots in this area. The extraordinary view from it's top is awesome. The short climb is rewarded with a breath taking panoramic view of the valley beneath it. While looking down from Chimbuk, you will have the feelings of floating over the clouds. In a sunny day, you can see the cloud shades over the hills. The huge horizon of zigzag hills seem like waves of a sea.

Amazing hill view. It is a tourist spot at a distance of 26 km from Bandarban Sadar and about 2500 feet above the sea level. It is one of the most popular tourist points in Bandarban. Clouds and mountains can be seen from here. The sunrise here is very beautiful. To see the sunrise, you need to stay here the night before or leave Bandarban early in the morning.

One Of The Best Tourist Spot For Every Visitors.

I visited there in April. It was too hot. I’ll request you to visit during winter but better in rainy season. In rainy season you may be lost in mist or cloud! A huge space like an Altar is left for the kids. You easily could see the surroundings. The view is amazing. Some good sitting arrangements are available. You also buy some souvenirs from the shops. There is no washroom here. Besides, it seemed to me that the place is not so clean. However, I’ll advise you to stay there maximum for 1 hour. Since the place is on the way to Nilgiri, better to visit Chimbuk when you come back. If you are visiting during noon, you also get good food from a restaurant managed by Bangladesh Army or BGB.

On the way back from Nilgiris, I take a light walk up Chimbuk hill, it is also a beautiful place. The view of the mountains from any spot and the decoration of the spots is almost the same. You have to buy a ticket to enter the Chimbuk Tourist Center.
