You can get apathetic by view of this place even though there are hundreds of people around you. Located within a small distance from the launch terminal. Auto-rickshaw fare should be BDT 30 at most (but they charge BDT 50/60). There are also some restaurants near by where you can have lunch. In the afternoon the place becomes so crowdy with all ages of people. Available some restaurants nearby and most importantly street foods besides fresh coconuts. Also tooks place a market in the afternoon with a variety of items.

This is a nice place to spend some quality time with your friends and family while watching Tri-Mohona (Padma-Meghna-Dakatia meeting point) But I will suggest you to go on a weekday to have a little walk and look around.
