The beach area is little muddy mix with sand so sometimes its so difficult to walk around specially when tgere is high tide or after High tide period. After all it has great views , so many green trees ans grassy surfaces around this place. It is good for visit in the afternoon or evening time. This place also known as Fishing area, bengali name of this are "Jailla para". So many fishing boats with Fishing nets are scattered around this place .. sometimes boats views are make this place also more pretty!

Rent a CNG Auto-rickshaw from any place of Chittagong and tell them you want to go to Kattali Sea Beach or Jailla Para. CNG won’t cost you more than 200 taka to reach the beach. At the beach bazar, You can buy fresh Hilsa Fish from fisherman.

It is one of the most beautiful places in Chittagong. Transportation is a bit of a problem. This time of winter is spent in the forest area, there you will see cricket football playing in groups. It will also look like Gulyakhali. Highly recommended for those visiting Patenga when in town.

Its a heavenly place near the bay of bangal. Its not the typical beach u always used to see. The environment is awesome. The sea, beach & tamarix/salt cedar together makes a serene atmosphere. The little high-low grassy area besides the salt cedar will give u a different view of a beach that u usually know. A great place for enjoying the sunset. The only down side is its not safe after the sunset & the facilities aren't that well. There isn’t any setting arrangement or resting spot. The food is not healthy also.
