Central Railway Building (CRB) is situated in the scenic hilly area of Chittagong, Bangladesh. It is the governing office for the general manager of Bangladesh Railway. The building was completed in 1872, it is one of the oldest buildings of the port city. To the east, across CRB Road, is Railway Hospital at CRB, built in 1994. There is a proposal to establish a 50-bed medical college at CRB and up-grade the existing Railway Hospital to 250 beds. There is a residential area for the railway officers surrounding it.

Recognized as "Lungs of Chittagong", only celestial place of the city. Possessed by Bangladesh Railway, houses its headquarter of Eastern division. Central hub of diverse cultural activities and gatherings. Beauty of this place sets any visitor mesmerizing at any time. Best moment of the day when first morning rays touch the ground piercing evergreen leaves. Presently this place becoming quite irritating as hawkers and spectators polluting the place with food trash and irritating You Tubers making trolls of crowd in unanticipated ways.

It was 2001 when I went to CRB. At that time CRB did not have such a showy appearance. It was very simple and natural. I used to run away from school and come here. I used to play cricket, some of my friends used to come and smoke cigarettes. Then when I was in university I would come with my girlfriend. I used to sit on the root of Shirish tree and eat nuts and make love in the guise of shame. At that time there was not so much crowd, there were not so many people in this city. Many were afraid to come again due to lack of security. There were frequent hijacks. Now everything has changed, going to the office with CRB but not sitting down for a while, not playing cricket, and not having to smoke cigarettes in secret. My ex-girlfriend also got married to someone else. I don't have CRB anymore, which I once thought was my own. She's someone else now...Love you CRB.

CRB is the one and only natural place in the heart of Chittagong city where trees and hills are found together. It is called lung of Chittagong as due to big trees it's become the main source of oxygen. People normally gathered here during the evening and pass time by having tea, hand made cakes etc. Peoples like this place for jogging and walking .A piece of green in the heart of the city. This area is open to all ages, all races, all religions. Starting from the morning exercise, various programs are held in this field throughout the day. A part time playing field with a low cost dating place for the people. But, for the nature admirer like us, it was a breeze of fresh air within this hectic busy city.

That's the heaven in the middle of the busy city. You can take a break from your regular life and breathe peacefully.

A fun place to kill time, but definitely not worth traveling to from a far away.

Central Railway Building (C.R.B) Area is located in the center of Chittagong city. It’s ten minutes walk from MA Aziz stadium and 15 minutes walk from Tiger Pass of Chittagong. The place is more like a public park. It has a large playground under gigantic banyan trees. It also has great open air seating arrangements for visitors. It’s free of charge and open for all!

It's the best place to be there with friends. Today we were there for have some freshness. This place are too natural. You can shoot picture with nature. you will find there tea, ice cream, sugar can, popcorn, fried rice and many desart. The couple also love to spend there time here.

Decent clam and beautiful place. But in the afternoon, most the City people come to visit, passing thier free time, telling story too.

If you want a open place to spend your evening with lots of street foods. Then this place will be perfect choice. The only problem is the place is very crowded in the evening. On the other hand for playing cricket & football there is enough space.

A great place for sports and enjoyment. CRB is always beautiful day and night. ❤️
