😠 Been to this branch a few times before, when it was at its previous location, round the corner in the small mall. Have to say, despite the nice and new decor, convenient iPad ordering system, open kitchen concept, the dining experience has really declined. The food was alright, edible but nothing to... Been to this branch a few times before, when it was at its previous location, round the corner in the small mall. Have to say, despite the nice and new decor, convenient iPad ordering system, open kitchen concept, the dining experience has really declined. The food was alright, edible but nothing to scream about. The service was disappointing, as I was seated at a really tiny table that could not accommodate the dishes I ordered. It was such a tight fit that despite me requesting nicely to move to a larger empty table, no one wanted to assist me in that. The rationale being reserved or meant for 4 was thrown my way. I was quite insulted when a walk in party of 1 was shown to a 4 seat table, ordered ate and left being all comfortable and spread out while i was stuck playing Tetris with the plates.

I recommend Sushi Tei to anyone looking for a top-quality Japanese restaurant experience. The combination of exceptional food, attentive service, and welcoming atmosphere make it an outstanding dining destination that should not be missed.

Went there on a Friday evening recently and was pleased to note that it wasn't crowded. Our group of 4 was able to secure a seat very quickly and easily at 630pm. Food is good. Sashimi is fresh. Portions are ideal for sharing and our hot green tea was constantly replenished. Service was great and ambience is nice too. Great venue for catching up over food and drinks. Just that the air con in the entire restaurant and also the shopping mall was pretty cold (likely because there wasn't much of a crowd in the mall so that could be the reason). Thank you Sushi Tei!

Ordered a tempera cha soba set. From $13.80 to $15.80, the price has risen but only got two prawn , and a carrot , where’s the rest? I get they increase the price but can’t they maintain the quantity and quality. Where’s my veggies man 🥲

This was a great atas restaurant to go at West Coast Plaza. Needless to say, we were repeat customers. The best time to go was off peak. There was always a long queue at peak hours. Food was great and value for money 💰 💰, at restaurant price. Our favourite was clam soup, Asari Miso Soup and Taiyaki Ice Cream. We also enjoyed the Chirashi Don, Salmon Don and Chicken Karaage. Big fresh juicy raw salmon, 🤤🤤🤤. It was hard to find such thick slices now.

It wasn’t too crowded but they were very pathetic in ensuring your orders come through. Literally waited the longest time for simple raw salmon with rice dish. Probably only need to scoop a bowl of rice and add a few pieces of sliced salmon… how long did this and the rest of my order take? 35mins and more AND this was only after i purposely ordered one chawanmushi for my starving son, so that someone would come to our table. If I didn’t do that I might have to wait an hour or more to realise that it’s not that they were shorthanded, just super poor management and service. No apologies nothing. Will be our first and last time at this outlet. Minus 5 stars.

Have been a loyal fan of sushi tei for its quality and value-for-money food. Service staff is also friendly and obliging. Alert to our needs. Great place for family or friends’ gathering.

Food was great and service was excellent which is rare these days. The great hospitality shown by Joey Kok had made sure a casual dinner experience felt great for the family. Would recommend to come here for meals.

Went there on Saturday noon wasn’t really crowded however the foods were disappointed. The yakiniku rice was cooked with missing onion, the fried dishes was cool and not crispy. Even my kids chicken cutlet ramen is tasteless. Didn’t expect this kind of standard from Sushi Tei.

Frequent this place with family. Food quality has been consistent. Service quick and fuss free. In laws complain the prices of food increased by about 15-20%, but not sure why they still always choose to patronise this establishment - I think membership does play a part to help as well :)

Visited them for lunch. The chicken on the teriyaki don tasted dry, probably overcooked. Aburi salmon roll and spicy mentai spider roll tasted average, not great. The tempura was hot and crispy. For the price paid, I can't say it's value for money. 3.5/5 overall.

Sushi Tei offers one of the proper Japanese food standard in Singapore. The quality of food is acceptable, and they offers a wide variety of Japanese dishes. Food preparation is quick, with their attentive staff serving customers request almost immediately.

Fresh sashimi platter, warm bowl of charcoal noodle with pork, and sushi that is awesomely paired with mango and prawn, creating a sweet seafood treat to your tastebuds. Service is excellent, not as packed, and worth the repeated visit especially during lunch hour - look out for their lunch menu!

Poor service with bo chup attitude. Can stand for 5 minutes at entrance browsing the menu while staff were completely inattentive. While other mothers with kids were immediately given their tables. Discrimination much?

Food is fresh and fixed my craving for salmon but the wasabi was placed in a wrongly labelled container causing me to request for wasabi and told off that it is in the container labelled 'Ginger Tong'.

Over priced for the food quality. Sake was not well kept - sour! Worst of all, they only had 3 sake glasses, and gave me beer glasses as substitute! I almost fainted hahaha

Lack of one star because the biscuits on the shiratama azuki (matcha) is super soggy . And they charge for towel and tap water !

Sushi Tei's seasonal menu is always full of surprises! This time we tried the Chef creation and it did not disappoint! Waitstaff are friendly, attentive and receptive to feedback!

First time here, service is prompt. We order from an iPad so it’s very efficient and doesn’t take long. Ordered the wagyu beef on hot platter and their well known rice rolls, as well as crab chawanmushi. Wagyu is not super spectacular but chawanmushi is pretty good.
