We arrived, went to the counter to request a table for 2 and was told to pick a table outside. So we did that. There were about 5-6 tables of customers at this point with 3 floor staff. We then waited for about 15min and no staff bothered to give us a menu. We then approached the counter to ask for a menu to which we were told they were just about to come to our table. We then waited another 10min and requested someone to take our order including food, drinks and table water. We were told they will at least bring our water shortly. This part is the cracker - we also had to ask for our mains.. the service is just absolutely horrendous. Another 10min later we asked a waiter for the table water and followed up with our drinks.. We then asked again for our drinks which took a further 10mins approx to come out. This has been a virgin experience where we had to ask for menus, table water, drinks and our mains.. just not the entree. Some staff were nice but others were simply rude and did not care much for customers. All in all we waited an 1hr for our mains that never came. I don't know about you but it doesn't seem they appreciate their customers or business with this level of respect to this point. After waiting for an hour, we left and was going to pay for our drinks and entree. One of the waitresses was nice enough to not have us pay for the inconvenience.. Another 2 couples also had the same experience and waited 1hr for their food (but theirs was takeaway) which were also about to leave as we left. If you're hungry and want some sort of service at least, then this is not the place for you.. If you want to go to a restaurant and wave down the staff to follow up everything then go nuts.

Visiting from Melbourne. First time trying this restaurant and am super glad I did. We were all quite hungry so didn't manage to get photos, but food sizes were great - I ended up getting the rest takeaway! I ordered the Chicken Shahi (Mild) with a mango lassi drink, papadums and naan (garlic, as well as spinach & cheese). Perfect combo. The other two ordered Butter Chicken (Hot) and a Vegetable Dahl (Mild). The Vegetable Dahl must've had some hot spices, because despite being mild, it was still very hot. The Butter Chicken was very much enjoyed, but according to my brother, he would've preferred the Indian Hot level of heat. Would highly recommend and would love to visit again in future when I return to QLD. Thanks to the staff for presenting great dishes to us, very much appreciated!

Don't understand the recent reviews we've just read because our meal last Saturday night was superb. The Lamb was the best I've had and I am besotted with Indian food. Yes, the waiters were young but they were delightful and so friendly. We had a fabulous night and loved our whole meal. ❤️

This is another loyal longstanding customer who has been going to this restaurant for 20 plus year and now unfortunately for the last time tonight. The food used to be so good but something has changed in the last couple of months. Very disappointing as we treasured having takeaway from this place, once a week for as long as I can remember. Food no longer tastes fresh, wait staff are all young juniors who are not ready for the responsibility given to them. Such a shame.

As a family ordering food from this restaurant for over 10 years I can honestly say I will never eat here again or order food from them again the woman that answered the phone was not only unhelpful she was extremely unkind

Ordered quite a bit of food for takeaway,service was quite good, however I have never had Indian in my whole life with cartilage in the chicken, actually there was a few pieces disgusting, put me off straight away, surely the chef’s know how to bone chicken out,also the bread was very dry,cheese and spinach, no flavour, the plus was the lamb was magnificent, as was the vegetable curry.

The food is delicious. However, it took over an hour and a half to deliver, and our peshwari nann we normally order was not as nice as normal. The Chilli chicken is amazing!

My first and last visit... Food is very bad ..very few vegetarian options.. every thing was sweet (paneer,biriyani,raita like everything).. After waiting for 50mins i received only disappointment.. Won't recommend to anyone having Indian taste...

I've eaten the food from Little Indian twice now. The first time I was very underwhelmed by my order, and It took me 18 months to order from them again. This time, I ordered the chicken tikka masala and rice. The rice was well cooked and the chicken was tender, but why is it so sweet? I really wanted to eat authentic Indian food and this was quite disappointing

Always great flavoursome food. Sadly, as dine in clients, the table service was very slow this visit. Ordered the banquet for 4 guests, didn't get the pappadums, and a very long wait between courses.

Puzzled that this place is ranked 4.2 stars when there are recently so many 1 star reviews. When we arrived it was full of people, so looked like a really popular venue, so we did not deep dive into the reviews. The peshwari nan was a dry nan with a thin layer of pulverised fruit - very disappointing. The curry was filled out with a pack of frozen vegetables. I can see other reviewers have experienced the 'frozen vegetable' trick too. Shall never eat here again. All staff were friendly, and the service was relatively fast.

The service in the place is absolutely disgusting. We ordered an entree, which came out within about 10 mins. We then waiting 40 minutes for our mains, we asked a young male server who said he would find out. He never returned. My partner went to ask as it had now been over an hour since we had our entree, he was told by the same waiter that the kitchen were making the food, and asked my partner what he wanted him to do about it. The same waiter then returned to our table, and very rudely said he would make our entree himself for us. We explained that we already had our entree and that we were waiting for our main, 1 curry and 2 Naan breads. He left and came back and very rudely informed us that he didn’t know how long our food would be, but that it would be a while, so if we wanted to leave we should. I’m utterly shocked at how the waiter (what seemed a 15 year old boy) spoke to us and will never be back.

Having dined here many times in the past we chose LIP again without looking at reviews. Big mistake. As recent reviews suggest, the meals were overpriced, small and terribly bland - even after asking for medium-hot chili. Staff were very young and clearly undertrained as the boy taking our order got it wrong several times and even after correction, the order was still incorrect and incomplete. Madras and Butter Chicken tasted the same and the chicken thigh was so fatty and sinewy that it was inedible so I paid $24 for bland sauce and rice. All up $74 for 2 without alcohol and walked away hungry with a terrible taste in our mouths. Never again. Not sure if they’ve recently changed hands or what but it’s nothing like it used to be. Didn’t even bother giving feedback on the night as I wasn’t even asked if I enjoyed the meal. Perhaps they knew what the answer would be.

Either dining in or take away, the food is exceptional. The staff are very attentive even when really busy. It’s also extremely good value. Highly recommend!

This is the best Indian food I've ever eaten. The service was amazing also. The Naan bread was filled with cheese in the middle which is my favourite. The resteraunt is huge as well which would be great for functions. I recommend the Butter chicken. Its better than a standard butter chicken and perfect even for an experienced curry fanatic like me. I warn you though, the wait on weekends can be decent cause they are quite popular.

The absolute best Indian food I have EVER eaten, so tasty and the naan bread was perfect.. excellent price and generous portions.. will definitely buy again and again and again!

My partner and I had the Butter Chicken and the Vegetable Dahl with chilli cheese naan, papadums and drinks. All the food was cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely delicious. They also came out within 15 minutes. Lovely atmospher and the interior is beautiful. This was my first time dining there and I was very happy. I will be back 😍 thank you 💖

Our family (2 adults and 2 kids) just ordered a last minute LIP relay pack. After a quick phone call, because I forgot to add how we wanted the curries, we were awaiting our order. It came earlier than expected (kids could still go to bed at a reasonable time) and it was absolutely one of the best Indian meals we've had in a while. Thank you for taking such good care of your customers. We will order again!
