Hamptons hit differently in Romania than they do in the U.S.A. Some of the locations in the U.S.A. can be a little rundown, but not here. This location is new, nice, clean, and provided an excellent stay! The rooms are spacious and well-maintained. Service is world class and they have a bar, fitness room, and free breakfast with many options from yogurt to waffles to eggs.

First time in Cluj. Last minute booking I came late and had to leave in the morning. So for the short time spent in the hotel I'd like to say the staff are excellent. I found out that the hotel was well situated. The rooms are comfortable and fully isolated. However, the breakfast buffet was not really what I expected from a Hilton. Thanks to all staff. All in all Great hotel

Great hotel, super clean and comfortable, very high standing. Quite pricy for Romania though, and the breakfast doesn't have much choice, I've seen better breakfasts in hotels five times cheaper in this country. There's an outside and an inside parking, but in both cases you can't enter without having the room key card or without the staff. The inside parking is tiny, could be tricky if you have a big SUV. Overall it's a good hotel and especially perfect for business customers. Overpriced for tourists in my opinion, and please improve the breakfast (more fruits, more choice in general).

I have been several times in 3..4 star hotels, mainly in Western European countries (Spain, France, Germany, Sweden, Czech Republic, Poland), but the experiences here were outstanding compared to the others. The most important aspect for me is the helpfulness of the staff, which was maximum here. I would like to highlight, among others, the work of Boró, Kinga and Zsolt, with whom I had the opportunity to talk, and who always answered in the same language as the guests asked them. And we didn't manage to get Boró out of her helpfulness even during the checkout process, even though we asked for a lot of extra text on the bill. Thanks again! But it wasn't just the staff that was perfect. Breakfast awaited us every day with a varied selection, delicious and healthy food. I'm picky about the quality of the bed, but the mattress here was very good, I didn't sink into it. I loved the air conditioner. I could easily control it in my room. Everything was clean and nice. The hotel's own parking lot made departures and arrivals by car very convenient. I can't say anything bad. Can't wait to go back again!

Sadly we reached quite late because of flight delays. So we couldn't go out to visit the city. But the hotel wa great... They knew about the kid and had provided could pencils a plush toy. Rooms are quite large. Larger than in Germany. They gave us a pizza at our request.. Was like 11:00 pm.. Parking was available underground... You need to get a card from the reception. Breakfast was the only chink... Was not as one would expect from a Hampton hotel.. But was decent enough for a quick bite. All in all a great place to stay.

The best experience in a Hampton by Hilton ever, the staff super friendly, great location, free parking, excellent breakfast with a lot of vegan options. I recently stayed at this hotel, and while there were some issues during our stay, I must acknowledge the efforts made by the hotel management to address our concerns. Upon arrival, I discovered a pair of socks under my bed, which indicated that the cleaning was not done properly. Additionally, the breakfast area was quite small, and we initially struggled to find a free table. After waiting for about 15 minutes, we finally secured a table but then had to queue for plates, forks, and knives. Unfortunately, when we reached the counters, there was no food left, and there were no glasses or juice available. It was a disappointing experience, reminiscent of a public canteen rather than a hotel. The parking situation was also less than ideal, with insufficient spots and some cars blocking the main access points, making it difficult for other guests to maneuver. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel manager's response to my review. They expressed genuine concern for our experience and took proactive steps to make amends. They offered a 100% refund for our stay and provided us with a complimentary voucher for a two-night stay at the hotel, valid until the end of next year, excluding blackout dates. This gesture demonstrates their commitment to exceeding guest expectations and improving the quality of service. In light of the hotel's efforts to rectify the issues we encountered, my perspective has changed. While our initial stay was far from perfect, I am willing to give this hotel another chance in the future. It's clear that they take guest feedback seriously and are actively working to address the shortcomings we encountered. I appreciate the hotel's commitment to improving, and I hope that our next visit will be a more enjoyable and hassle-free experience. One of the best experience we had in a hotel, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, the hotel has a great location. Bonus points for the possibility of free parking, excellent breakfast with a lot of options (including vegetarian and vegan). Regarding the room, extremely neat and clean, spacious and elegantly decorated. Great location where I return regularly and convenient as it is within immediate proximity of our Steelcase office in Cluj. Excellent staff from start to finish, notably Ionela, Maria and Kinga. And I really praise the smilling staff taking catering for breakfast, keeping location pristine and diligent to my question.

Good business hotel. Nothing special but gets the job done. They have optional breakfast for everyone who stays and I found it quite decent vs what I have seen in this region. Staff was helpful. Cleanliness in the room was best I have seen in my Romania travels. Suggestions - room lacked a notepad which is a must for business hotels. Kitchen closes at 9:30. Think that’s a little early. Having said this, they do have a 24 hr bar / snacks including pizza available. Gym - they have one but could be better. Has elleptical, running machine, and weights with a small bench. Maria on the reception desk was most courteous. Will definitely book this when I come back to Cluj.

The hotel is placed conveniently near the city center of Cluj (about 1.5 kilometres - easy enough to walk there) and the rooms are big and clean. The most surprising part is the breakfast which I didn’t except to like so much. It has a variety of dishes to chose from which are delicious and innovative (like the smoothie shots - unfortunately, I didn’t photograph them). I would recommend the hotel for staying in Cluj. Also pretty affordable.

Rooms way too hot, set thermostat to it's lowest setting but made no difference, and no windows you can open.

Good location 10 minutes from old town. Rooms are spacious and clean. Comfy bed. Nice stuff and good breakfast. A good place to stay for the buissness trip.

I've been regular customer but it may be the last time. I just had to pay my room exactly THREE TIMES the price I paid before, for a week. I dont see any Untold festival around... I understand inflation but nothing of that magnitude. This is not inflation. There are plenty of other hotels of your level in Cluj that are still pricing their room reasonably. Sorry for this rant but could you please explain this? Also when will you go back to reasonable prices?

The breakfast and location are good and the service is okay. The room is cold (18 C) and the thermostat doesn't do anything, for "energy saving". I had to ask for a heater to get it to 21-22. Also the mini fridge is empty so you can "fill it with reasonable priced treats". Side note, I needed an umbrela and I had to buy it from them.

Typical 3* hotel with rooms tjat could be updated a bit. Very crowded (free) parking outside with only one way to get in and out, so traffic jams occur. The staff is great, very professional. Close to Th Office.

Having just returned from visiting various parts of the USA and staying in various Hilton Hotels & Hampton Inns, I was shocked at how amazing the Hampton Hilton Cluj is. Breakfast is 100X better than even some upscale Hilton hotels in the US. The bed is very comfy. The WiFi is fast. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating to special requests. The hotel is very clean and is in a fantastic location. Exceeds all expectations for a Hampton by Hilton!

Nice staff, good location, clean. However the prices are very high for a 3 star hotel: no minibar, slide door shared between bathroom and wardrobe, and do not expect the pillows, sheets and towels to be Hilton quality. Next time in Cluj, I will pick the Double Tree Hilton just up the road.

pros: big and comfortable rooms, close enough to the city center location, buffet breakfast with a lot of options. cons: room service is perfunctory. one day my room was not cleaned at all, and all I heard from the management was "sorry". this is not acceptable.

I'd like to say the staff at this hotel were excellent in helping me with a major problem. I'd sent a very important letter for a guest to receive. It was delivered but for some reason not left at reception and taken back to the local post office. The staff personally got this letter back and had it ready for the person to collect on checking in. Thankyou to all staff and management. What a great hotel.

This place really sets the bar for Hampton Inns. The hotel seems brand new, was impeccably clean, and had outstanding service. Staff were attentive and helpful. The breakfast was awesome. I felt like we were staying at a much more upmarket Hilton branded hotel than Hampton. The location is alright, near the city center but not too far away. Our room on the west side of the building had a fabulous view of the city.

Great place. Room was nice and large the staff very friendly, and the breakfast absolutely amazing. Close to the downtown core and very lively. Really enjoyed our stay there
