It is overrated. 3 star's it's too much, I think. I was staying in a small room with old amenities. It was the smallest room of a 3 star hotel I've ever stayed. TV it was a flat one but the rest was installed before the appearance of flat TV's. Bathroom it was also with old amenities. WC have a system of flushing I've never seen in other places. It was clean but not sparkling. I think is difficult to make more with what is there. It is my first time when I give such a bad review. They need to invest quickly. I understand they have also rooms within a 4 star's classification. I think those are good. Maybe they already invest but they didn't finish yet. Anyway, the room I stayed didn't worth 3 star and I stayed in 2 star's hotel with way better rooms. Staff was considerate, respectful and full of solicitude. Price was ok.

Miserable! Review for the "3 star" apartment. I'm not very picky but this was ridiculously bad. The furniture was the original one from the 80's and not in a nice vintage way, it was worn out, decrepit. The carpet and towels were stained. The room was filthy, we flagged this to the reception and they sent a cleaner the next day. It was noisy, you could hear the traffic through the wooden window frames. You may even meet the ocasional friendly spider. It's located 4 km from Cluj Arena. No elevator. Pros: The staff was nice, decent wi fi, ok breakfast, parking. To sum up, wouldn't recommend staying there, I definetly won't, especially during Untold when they charge 85 eur/3 star room, it's worth 25 30 eurs max. 2 star hotel.

For a 3 or 4 stars hotel this is just not worthed! In Cluj there are so so many other option for even a lower price, where you get a modern room! That's not the only problem , but the bathroom was certainly not properly cleaned and disinfected! I am sorry but you should invest some money in renovation!

I feel like I'm repeating myself but I don't know where these people are taking the stars from. I think it's a good idea to read the reviews before you are booking. The part of the hotel where I was placed in had 3 stars. It deserved 2 at best. No elevator, everything squeaked. The breakfast was not much, and I think it was for both 3 and 4 stars hotel rooms they have. And to think you should pay more for 4 stars in there.

Got my reservation cancelled for no reason at all…

The guy at the front desk had been awesome. We've had to call him up quite a few times, and the luggage we (3 people) have is huge so he was a great help with us carrying them up the stairs (the elevator only goes to one side of the hotel). And the strip club/bar downstairs is awesome! It wasn't busy so me and my boyfriend ended up talking a lot with the bartender and the dancer. Shout out to Andrei and Andra! Great hotel.

I stayed at Hotel Onix one night, and it was fine. There is a premium wing to the hotel and a an un-premium. The premium side has an elevator, while the un-premium does not, which means you have to lug your suitcase upstairs all by yourself. I suppose they would have carried it up if I had asked, but I decided to "rough it" and do it myself. If you have back problems, however, you should ask. Otherwise the hotel was quite good. Clean room and bathroom, windows that could be opened, and a really nice restaurant, all for a very reasonable price. It is about a 10 minute walk to the historic center.

This hotel was a breath of fresh air! You can choose between a 4* or 3* from. We choose a great 4* room, with a big comfortable bed, it was clean, the shower was great, the hotel was modern and it had friendly staff with good English. The location was good, only a short walk into the main town. I definitely recommend this place!

Not the best hotel in the world, but for me (I had the 3 star room) it was more than ok. Everything was pretty clean, the bed and pillows, very confortable, and I had a little living room, when you can chat and have a drink with some friends. The restaurant was bad and slow, and the waiter really polite and kind, but way too slow. Overall, a decent experience.

Ok for bed-breakfast. It also has hydro massage bath tub, but all in all the room starts to show it's age.

Not too shaby. The staff is polite, the room was clean and warm, the sheets were also warm, the water at the shower was hot, the breakfast was taylored to the demand. I have no complaints.

Fast, clean and good services.

Good price for the room. One of the lights was not working (room 205, light in the hallway). The breakfast was very nice!
