As a local seeing this place transform as much and the way it has… such a relevant example of the way local history develops, even during one’s own lifetime. Once upon a time in 2016 this was a cafe/pub owned by a couple who were aficionados of maritime culture, hence the name. From what I know, they left to live at the Romanian seaside and the place kept getting sold in between individuals and groups of people, every two or so years. Last I remember, it’s owned by a couple of guys who’ve turned it into a fully-fledged bar, with its owners knowing nothing of the original one, way back when. The name lives on, and some of the decor (the highly customised and expensive-looking) lives on, without anyone knowing what it represents, and why it’s the way it is. Ok drinks, cozy place, mid music.

Awesome place, full of young people and good vibes. The owner is also the bartender and he is extremely careful and quite funny with all customers. ☕🎶👍

Good beer and shots

An awesome place with great people at the bar always ready to listen to the story of ye sailing pirates looking to get some drinks before going back to the ship. The thematic really looks like no other pub in town, with clouds and rgb lights. The place has the bar in the middle facilitating conversations both between you and the crew and between new people. During the spring, autumn and winter it's a place filled with parties and underground DJ's and young artists. During the summer you can come and participate in an event or get a cold drink and forget about the sunny weather out on the sea of the City.

La Port is my favorite pirates pub, a place in the center of Cluj-Napoca city, where people and artists share unique moments while drinking good beer and listen to good live music or laughing together on live stand up comedy.

I had a great time attending a presentation at Ceainaria LaPort. The owner was very welcoming and the place was filled with great atmosphere.

The place is nice, but there are better options for that amount of money if you are willing to walk a little further.

Staff is very friendly and nice. Serving is very fast. The prices are low.
