This place has bed bugs in dorm, I was covered in bites after staying for a quick weekend. A lot of workers stayed there, and shared only 1 shower. Need serious improvement. Not sure about the positive reviews…

Amazing location, very friendly owner and they have an amazing sauna 😍 Very good value for a location right in the center!

I got bedbugs after staying here for three days. Apart from that, the hostel was okay, not very social, but the reason the hostel is ruined for me is the bedbugs.

+ Center location, cheap - No lockers in the room, very strong disadvantage in such a small room, bags take all the place on the floor. Only one toilet and shower for several rooms(which are also adjacent, so you can't get to the toilet while someone is in the shower) Very thin blankets, so it was freezing to sleep at night. Kitchen barely has the tableware except for couple of glasses, few plates and unsharpened knife that couldn't cut the loaf of bread. Very loud construction works in the same building from 7 am, not very convenient of you haven't exactly planned to start you day that early. Also a loud bat that works till around 2 - 3 am, so you can't really go to sleep early either. The price is cheap, but I've been in way better hostels in Romania for the same price or even less. Good if you're looking for a cheap bed for one night, but wouldn't be be coming back.

It was a nice hostel in a good location. The was only someone in the reception sometimes, but when they were they were very nice and let you use their bikes for free.

One of my favorite hostels in all of Europe. Friendly people, great rates, perfect location to walk all around the city. And it's a fun vibe inside. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Room 4, 29/06/23… The bed STINKS. The duvette, pillows, mattress STINKS. xd My skin started to smell like it. They try covering it up with some fresh, cheap, linen. But I couldnt take it and I left in the middle of the night. Disgraceful. The sealant in the bathroom is BLACK.

Nice hostel. Clean - they emptied the garbage & picked up dirty towels. The garbage in the kitchen was emptied. The kitchen is small but well equipped. The room & bathroom were tiny, but I knew this before I came. The man at the front desk was kind and helpful & I could not have received better service! One night I did get up at 4:48 am when the people next door came in b/c the walls are paper thin. The email with the door code was sent while I was on the plane here, so I had a problem getting in. There is someone at the front desk only in the mornings, but he was kind and helped me with a taxi to the airport when my phone was not working. The hostel is in a very central location & there is a supermarket just a few minutes away. There are also restaurants & places to get coffee. I had a comfortable stay here.

This hostel has a very friendly staff, it's centrally located, and just all around great accommodations! They have expresso, a do it yourself kitchen with a fridge, 2 different bathrooms (1 with a shower), and usb ports next to every bed. (220 adapters are also available) They also have bicycles that you could take out around town. There's a little table out front to enjoy your coffee, and games to play if you like that.

Good hostel in Cluj-Napoca. I visited for Untold Festival in August 2023, so the atmosphere of the hostel was lacking even though everyone was there for the festival. Radu - the owner and receptionist - was fantastic and very kind and helpful. He recommended several excellent places to eat and drink around town. The hostel is very well located, a 10 minute walk to the old town and a 10 minute walk to the central park. Also near transit and the main bus station

A very clean and well run hostel. The manager helped us with booking transport and was very understanding and helpful. We were prescribed a room though that was under the roof space, and while clean and comfortable, it lacked bedside lights and had a very low ceiling 😂. The check-in desk if often left unattended but this isn't much of a problem. The place felt a little cramped, but you could also phrase it as cosy :) it even has a sauna in the basement! Very nice place!

This hostel has everything you could want, the kitchen has everything you need to cook, the rooms are very clean and secure and if you want to relax they even have a sauna. If you want to explore the city or go out to the nearby forest for a hike you can lend a bike (Dutch citybikes) free of charge and the staff will gladly give you tips where to go, or if you want to know more about the history of the city or the country the staff will make time to explain to you while you can enjoy a cup of coffee (also free of charge). This will be my go to hostel whenever traveling in transylvania for sure!

Bedbugs all over the place, the owners don’t care and don’t do anything to prevent this. Terrible customer service too.

Needs refurbishment. Toilet and bathroom are cramped, plus shower was not working properly. I switched beds, because the matress was old and bad. The hostel felt kind of empty, there was nothing going on. But the management can't really do anything about that.

Very much enjoyed my 16 day stay in private room. Hostels reflect the owner, and are not characterless chains , so enjoy the uniqueness of each. Location, none better. Extra benefits, they're are some, . Internet mostly tops. Sleep well 😸

Loving it so far, during the week I get a dorm alone, of course it's not tourist season yet... It's warm, clean, conveniently located and reasonably priced... the fully equipped kitchens are good places to mingle and provide free coffee and tea, also free bikes and sauna, what's not to like...

The best hostel in Romania definitely. The man and lady in reception were really kind, all you need. They allowed me to check out 2 hours after without charge because my train departure. Clean and tidy. Really recommend it. Lovely management.

The staff is very friendly and the location is great but the hostel itself is not amazing. The room was very small and hot with old and not comfortable bedsheets, the bathroom quite humid and smelly, bad insonorisation and the bar outside is very noisy.

Located in the old defence wall. Nice rooms, 2 kitchens, a big dining, amusement room in the cellar. And a free to use Sauna for guest. And free bikes. Country trips can be arranged.

Perfect for solo travelers. The princes are very good and it is really close to the town centre. The staff is really nice and friendly and you also have a kitchen to use.

I don't understand the positive reviews - this hostel is ridiculously (currently at 80 lei/night) overpriced, doesn't have a breakfast, features new people every night (most of them coming to have fun, so expect them to return back late in the night) and the bathrooms are very poorly equipped (usually no soap, showers almost in the same space as toilets etc). I would give it one star were it not for the great receptionist Ciprian who was quite helpful and has some very useful insider info

Great location. But poor hostel in terms of cleanliness and facilities. Our room was on the second floor. Room, hallway, stairs, and mainly showers were a mess. Kitchen seemed like had potential but was forgotten. Hostel could be an amazing place if properly organized.
