Beautiful opera, the build and sound acustica are great! It's overall pretty clean, and the staff is friendly and ready to help. Nice program, with a variety of different shows. 😁🎭

The show I attended was great, the building has great significance for the city, it is definitely worth seeing the shows. Exceptional interpretation!

Such a history in this building from 1906. The authorities have an obligation and a legal responsibility towards the new generation to invest in the building consolidation ASAP. The guided tour is both in Romanian and in English. The tour is on weekly basis, each Friday at 3pm. Ticket cost: 15 ron/3 EUR.

It is a place for the Heart! The Place of the Artists. Excellent performance every time when I was here. But the building, inside, needs improvements, for sure!!

The most beautiful building in Cluj-Napoca. Totally worth visiting, especially in the winter season because it is nicely decorated.👍🏻 The theatre tickets are quite cheap. There are discounts for students, seniors and kids but you can’t buy discounted tickets online. The ticket office is across the street.

Lucky that Cluj-Napoca have an Opera, I think this is one of the best ways to spend time, to evolve and to educate, at least going to see spectacles of opera and theatre, but even looking forward to "open gates day" to learn more about whats behind every spectacle. There is some "moving mountains" energy from a very nice team of artists and distribution team.

Elegant and nice opera house. Good lighting and experience. I usually like going by myself for a self date so going on your own is totally acceptable. I have seen Die Fledermaus, by Strauss and Turandot by Puccini so far and let me tell you the rendition and interpretation of Strauss's Die Fledermaus was absolutely stunning, it brought tears to my eyes last December. There is also a little cocktail snack bar for inbetween sets so if you want to get something during the breaks you can pay by cash and also card, the also have treats for the young ones.

complete lack of any scenography, extremely lasy und unfunded mis-en-scene,. lots of noises in public from plastic bottles squizeed to ROALERT on opened phones, singer had to stop singing due to disturbances, found the opera mew interpretation anachronic and rather offensive.

Nice place, though quite outdated and in need of upgrades and repairs. Reasonably clean but the interior should be definitely refurbished to bring back its intended atmosphere. Too bad the current covid situation has changed the experience so drastically. I look forward to seeing it getting back to normal.

A great place in Cluj. You can see and here classical acts here with an orchestra and sometimes the ballet will have its music on tape. The building is worth seeing inside out, being building by Helmer und Fellelner. Needs revamping.

It's a great building used for theatre, ballet and opera shows. The staff there is very friendly, helping people to find their places. The Lodges have great views, especially those closer to the center.
