Unirii
Square
is
the
main
and
most
popular
square
in
Cluj.
It
hosts
the
second
biggest
cathedral
in
Transylvania,
St.
Michael's
Church,
one
of
the
most
impressive
architectural
pieces
of
art
in
Cluj-Napoca.
Even
if
it
seems
to
be
really
big,
it
isn't.
In
fact,
it
is
enough
to
make
you
feel
confortabile,
friendly
and
closer
to
the
Cluj
feeling.
A
lot
of
bars
with
amazing
food,
great
coffee
and
drinks
sorround
it,
so
there
is
enough
space
for
everyone.
When
the
spring
comes,
all
of
them
open
their
terraces
and
everyone
is
welcomed
to
enjoy
the
summer
vibes.
Recently,
Hotel
Conti
was
revealed
(as
we
like
to
call
it).
Hotel
Continental
was
build
in
1894,
it
has
an
amazing
arhitectural
structure,
it
holds
an
entire
history
and
it's
renovation
started
in
november
2017.
The
renovation
was
like
a
throwback
to
1894
because
the
building
looks
exactly
like
after
it's
first
revealing.
On
the
other
side,
from
Unirii
Square
you
can
see
the
"street
in
the
mirror",
Iuliu
Maniu,
where
you
will
be
surprised
to
see
exactly
the
same
impressive
architecture
on
buildings
on
the
both
sides
of
the
street.
My
favourite
feeling
in
Unirii
Square
are
the
projections
from
Transylvania
International
Film
Festival.
It
is
probably
the
biggest
outdoors
cinema
I
have
ever
experienced.
And
belive
me,
it
is
better
than
any
4Ds
cinemas
ever!
Also,
the
Unirii
Square
hosts
concerts,
theaters,
markets
and,
obviously,
protests.
And
of
course,
you
can
chill
there
with
your
icecream
in
the
middle
of
the
summer,
or
with
you
mulled
wine
in
the
middle
of
the
winter.
