I love this place more than any other in Kochi. They have live piano music from 6.30-7.30pm. You get a 25% discount on your drinks from 6-8pm which is fantastic. The ambience here is great and bar counter is well maintained with beautiful woodwork. There is no rush here at all times. I have had Bloody Mary and Mojito Cocktails which were served in jars containing 90ml vodka. The snacks were also good and fresh. The best thing about this place is the location. It’s located away from the busy city life and along the pristine backwaters of Kochi. You need to be there to truly appreciate the location and the drinks. Forgot to mention, they have cigars those which you see in Cuba though I am not sure whether it’s Cuban or some other variety. Not seen anyone smoke those in here.

Fresh tender coconut juice made right infront of you with other fresh juices and this cocktail was Amazing! And good bar tender who loves a conversation and a good helpings to go with it(complementary)

This is a part of Taj Malabar. It's inside the hotel right in front of the lobby. Cozy atmosphere and comfortable seating arrangement. Unfortunately couldn't taste any of its finest cocktails because of dry day during my last visit. But all in all its a warm, cozy and cool place to hangout with your friends.

Weather you are staying at the hotel or not, the Bar is worth a visit for its authetic ambience. One feels at place at Mattancherry when visiting such interiors spiced up with wooden furniture. Relaxing sofa for two are not just comfortable but also intimate as they are spaced well with its cushions. Dim lighting may add to the intimacy as planned. One may go there for its food too, for its garnish, serving and display.

Mattancherry Bar is one of the most premium cocktail bar I have been to the cocktails here were awesome and premium. Moctails are yummy too. In food sushis and Dimsums were the best. They just Melted in mouth and was full of flavours. The ambience was amazing dim lights and place was decorated with plants it looks awesome. Over all it was a great experience.

Closed for renovations. Not shown on site. Seems like the recent reviews given have been purchased in the last 3 days because it was not open one week ago according to the staff.
