The
complete
disregard
for
a
corona
hygiene
concept
at
breakfast
was
rather
surprising.
While
the
room
was
comfortable
and
the
check
in
staff
member
was
very
welcoming,
our
experience
the
following
morning
leaves
much
to
be
desired.
Guests
at
the
breakfast
area
with
no
social
distancing,
touching
the
bread
when
cutting
it
(bare
hands),
no
hand
sanitizer
station
before
entering
the
buffet
area
and
completely
open
buffet
with
no
coverings
are
things
we
observed
in
minutes
of
arriving.
Although
the
tables
were
appropriately
spaced
out.
The
most
concerning
part
was
the
staff
response
when
we
alerted
them
of
what
we
saw.
There
was
no
action
taken
and
only
informed
us
the
breakfast
was
included
in
the
rate
for
us.
I
would
have
at
minimum
expected
the
staff
to
take
action
to
address
the
concern,
or
potentially
offer
an
alternative
solution.
Other
hotels
in
France
seem
to
have
a
corona
hygiene
concept
developed
for
breakfast
however
here
it
seems
completely
non
existent
.
Upon
checkout,
the
hotel
staff
also
did
not
acknowledge
our
concerns
despite
being
brought
up
twice
over
two
days.
Traveling
in
these
times
I
would
expect
such
a
concern
to
be
taken
more
seriously.
The
location
however
is
excellent,
just
a
shame
our
experience
early
on
was
marked
by
this.
UPDATE:
There
were
NO
breakfast
boxes
offered
by
reception
during
our
stay
nor
did
they
take
our
complaint
seriously.
Nor
would
they
offer
a
refund
for
the
breakfast
-
the
response
from
the
hotel
is
simply
NOT
true.
