This was our second time to stay here while on vacations. The room was comfortable and large by European standards. The breakfast wasn't overly expensive by European standards and offered a wide array of foods. Parking is a bit of a crapshoot. Nothing was available in front of the hotel, so we parked in the public garage 400 yards away. Drop your backs off first. Otherwise, rolling your suitcase over 400 yards of cobblestone becomes an unpleasant exercise.

Nice hotel right by the old town with pay and display parking in the road outside. We were upgraded from superior rooms to suites when we were arrives but our rooms were on the second floor in the part of the hotel that has no lift. The rooms were cosy, and ingeniously designed with mezzanine bathrooms. Well equipped, comfy beds and a good shower. If you have mobility issues check in advance where your room will be as stairs to go to the bathroom and no lift may be difficult for some. Buffet breakfast with good choice and very efficient staff looking after the breakfast room.

Fantastic! Loved it all! Such a friendly and personal welcome, such attention to detail (chocolates in room for me and a beefy stick for my dog), such beautiful surroundings. You really can't do better in terms of hotel - but know one thing : the (beautiful) parking garage is far away and there is no direct access to the hotel, so you may find yourself carrying luggage 400+ metres in the rain.

Great location, very friendly staff but really terrible bed, very hard. Woke up with back pain, didn’t sleep much the next night.

Great location and great staff. Room was big but the air conditioning is not powerful enough to cool the room. It was really hot, so they gave us a fan and it was much nicer. The bed was really hard. We loved the sauna and used it frequently.

Wifi is terrible (i just stopped using it and used my mobile data), breakfast is very limited (and at 23€ pp the price is exaggerated), bed frame is made of steel (because of the small space I actually hurt my leg, heating display does not have a “power off display “ option so, at night, you either sleep with that light on or switch off the heating completely. The “best” part is the (lack of) soundproofing. Outside the street is made of cubic stone, so everything MAKES A LOT OF NOISE! (Trash bins, cars, etc) and because of the bad soundproofing you hear it all (day or night) The only good thing is the location. P.S: the checkout was also an experience; Me: good morning, id like to check out Staff: I see you leave one day early. Me: correct Staff: you have 60 euros to pay, city tax and breakfast. Have a nice day! No questions on why we leave one day earlier (paid) or how was our stay. World know French hospitality right there.

An excellent stay! Very professional and friendly staff; superb building and very nice room. Excellent breakfast, really well presented and maintained. Comfortable and quiet breakfast room. We stay in a lot of hotels and this was one of the best. We will return.

We loved this hotel!!! From the friendly and helpful staff to the perfect location to the beautiful and very comfortable room, it was a sheer delight. It's right in the heart of Colmar so everything is a short walk away, and our room, overlooking the main street, was quiet with no street noise. We recommend the breakfast, too. Make sure you see the courtyard and the staircase that looks like it belongs in a castle...just lovely. Our one regret is that we only stayed one night.

Room we had was nothing to do with the pictures on the website but same price as regular room .Matress was semi damaged - hard, noisy and not straight,in the middle going down. Pillow ,douvet - heavy and cheapest possible quality .Bathroom was very basic . The room was on grandfloor ,no view, noisy, listening the phone calls and conversations of the reception. About thr front desck stuff really bad : not offering / explaining about parking or garage , not willing to book restaurant , not willing to do something extra to feel welcome ! "Great hospitality " and on top inside the little cave( room) no wifi ,so I had to sit in the breakfast area to use wifi!! Definitely don't there!

Stayed here with my partner only for a romantic overnight stay. The room was very confortable, good breakfast, nice and cozy sauna, helpful and smiling staff. The hotel is very well located, but not easy to park nearby.

Absolutely a great hotel, with beutifull large rooms and a helpfull staff. Grest location, close to the most beutifull parts of Colmar. A tip to all those arriving with a car - on Sunday the parking in the street in front of the hotel is free.

This hotel it first rate, rooms are beautiful breakfast all good. Cannot fault this hotel at all . In the middle of petite Venice. Only downside is the road is very noisy due to the cobbled road.

Nice hotel. Nice room. BAD customer service. Parking was 30.00 Euro a night and a nightmare to deal with. Hotel staff offered no assistance with alternative parking that was available. Night staff was absolutely horrible. Not friendly or helpful at all. We limited our contact with hotel staff to avoid further bad experiences; it ruined our stay in this hotel. We will never return.

Hotel Colombier was our home base for 3 nights. The staff, location, room and hotel were perfect and you could not ask for more. Comfortable beds, clean and well decorated room, we enjoyed our stay immensely and would highly recommend.

Clean, centrally-located, comfortable bedrooms, and good, extensive breakfast served from 6:45am until (I believe) 10am. The wifi leaves something to be desired, however. I frequently found myself booted offline, as did my wife, or even spending long stretches with no reception. I hope they invest in improving this, but it's a minor quibble and wouldn't at all stop me from staying here again.

Beautifully renovated hotel on the border of the old city. Perfect location, comfortable and nicely designed unique rooms. Breakfast buffet is not lavish but has enough to please. Parking is quite expensive.

Perfect location. Separate parking spot on the other side of the road. Very nice staff. The breakfast could have been better and the bed was not king sized😂 Overall ok good pricing. And the city is beautiful

My husband and I stayed here with some friends in December to visit the Christmas markets, and we loved our stay! We got a beautiful suite which was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The service was very nice too. It was an excellent location to be able to walk around Colmar.

Great location, the hotel is right by Le petite venice. Staffs are very nice and attentive. We also surprised by the room services dinner there, the quality is better than expected. For breakfast, I think it could be improved.
