Hello guys. To anyone who is considering staying at Hotel Ocean Paradise, this review should be the only one you read. Being someone who values genuine appreciation for service, I felt let down by Ocean Paradise. Considering the hotel to be a four-star establishment, I am aware of its shortcomings. However, there was a fundamental error made, such as failing to inform the guest if the snacks are complimentary or are part of the package. They did the same thing when I tried their buffet as well. In addition to the buffet fee, they offered us drinks and then charged us individually. Overall, the hotel wasn't up to par; it was the service. This is for you guys, and Hotel Ocean Paradise will undoubtedly see it,” You guys can do much better. Make sure the staff at the front desk conducts properly; my sister and I were treated poorly and with attitude there. I think you guys have what it takes to provide the greatest service. So put effort into it”.

Located near the Dolphin circle, the hotel is overall quite a good one, probably in between too luxurious and mid-range hotels. I stayed in a suite overlooking the front side of the hotel and the road by it. From the balcony of the room, you can see the swimming pool, and a good view of the sea at an angle. In my suite, all the amenities and fittings were great. Everything was very nicely organized and maintained. It had a living room and a bedroom. There were minibar, TV, bathrobe, etc. In fact, everything you may want on a trip was there. The hotel provides room service. It got a bar. The restaurant inside provides fairly good food. I was not too happy with the breakfast though, as I had better expectations. They provided me airport transfer. The beach is accessible through a narrow side road near the hotel. Some restaurants are at a walking distance, if you want cheaper alternatives for food. Auto rickshaws were also very much available. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I will probably stay there again if such situation comes.

Hotel rooms are standard in terms of given room rates, service quality is moderate and location is good and near to bus counter. Hotel is neat and clean. But i have faced air conditioned issue. Food quality is standard but price is bit high. Buffet breakfast is not up to the mark compare to the hotel standard. Expectation was high from Ocean Paradise because there are few hotels in coxs who are providing better buffet breakfast.

We stayed in room number 671 for 5 nights. The room was spacious and clean. There was a balcony which had a sea view from the left and city view from the right. Everything was amazing but the air conditioner was a pain. The room wasn't getting cold and we complained. They fixed it and the night was okay but again in the morning it stopped working. It is impossible to stay in this summer without the AC working but all the other things were good like complimentary breakfast, staff's behavior and timeliness. Their restaurant served good food too. A request to Ocean Paradise - please fix your air conditioners! We want to come again!

One of my nicest experience of Staying at 5 star hotel, the manager is very nice, The staffs are well behaved. The room is nice. Had problems with the AC, as the AC is centralized, they fixed it later. The pool is very nice and well maintained, they don't allow boys with t shirts at the pool, the water is very neat and clean. Their complementary breakfast was one of the Nicest breakfast i ever had. Thank you for the amazing hospitality. Will recommend to everyone and might stay there if i go there once again.

I think the music arrangement is better than anything else in this hotel, but the hotel authorities could have presented the musicians better, because musicians are precious, they deserve better. Especially their seating area or the stage could have been more decorative, there could have been a soothing lighting arrangement, even their dress matter has caught my eye. In fact, if there is a poetic interior at the beginning of entering this hotel and at the lobby, then this hotel can be easily distinguished from other hotels, then people will remember it very much for the unique experience. I request this hotel authority to look into this matter.

The Hotel is in a prime location very close to the beach. The rooms are fine, toilets need maintenance as tiles and sinks are old. Waiting times at the reception is long. Service is average. Food is good. Need more activities or recreation for toddlers. Live music in the evenings is a treat. Overall ambience is good. Could be better.

Used to be a great hotel once. Overall quality has deteriorated consistently over the years. There are far better places to stay now for similar price range. We are regretting every minute of our stay here. The hotel also deserves to get an award for the worst possible breakfast in town. Shameless staff continuously pester and hover around for tips for the littlest things. It’s almost impossible to sleep in the hotel as there’s obnoxiously loud music from their own bar and rooftop restaurant. The hotel has also used zero sound-proofing measures against the music playing from Palonki Restaurant across the street. Stay away from this sham of a hotel.

An excellent neat & clean hotel in a suitable location of Cox's Bazar with a nice interior, wide space in reception floor, excellent swimming pool, roof top view, variety of items in buffet meals, large restaurant, modern wash room & change rooms and many more. Responsible persons / managers to roam here & there silently to observe the customers' need or the staffs' services timing is also a very praiseworthy side of this hotel. I wish a very wide & global branding of this star hotel.

Great place to enjoy your honeymoon or vacation whatever you want. This is a five star hotel, has a great view of the sea provided that you have a sea view room and a higher floor. Our floor was 7th, the sea view was eye pleasing. We took a honeymoon package for 20k, it was totally worth it. It included: - Candle light 🕯️ dinner 1 - breakfast 2 - snacks 1 - cake 1 - decoration of room - 3 days 2 nights Deluxe Sea view - swimming, gym I also took in room food service, the food taste was superb. Price was bit high, but worth it. One thing to mention, one reception guy wasn't professional at some points. His name was Hridoy I think. Apart from that, I enjoyed a first class five star service overall. Do I recommend? Yes Overall rating: 8.5/10

One of the best hotels at Cox'sbazar. They are very professional, but at our last visit, their front desk was not efficient compared to other staff. The buffet breakfast is good, the pool is awesome. I never used their gym, bar and spa. All the other amenities are up to the mark. I have enjoyed my stay completely every time I visit this hotel.

Very good hotel. Nice to stay there even with family. Hospitality is nice. 👍 Food price is very much high. Better to not take any food from here. Lots of good restaurant & food shops are near to it. Here food price is like- double, triple or more than that. So avoid inside food in ocean paradise.

The room view of 451 was awesome. The sea view is perfect from this room. We could enjoy the full moon view as well from the balcony. The bed is also very comfortable. Their room service is 24/7 available. We got the rooms with 40% discount. The pool area is also big enough. Only problem I had is with the mosquitos. We were given complimentary breakfast as well. Taste is also good. But I felt there are more items given in the buffet breakfast in the other hotels.

Excellent rooms and services. I accidentally left my shoes in my room while checking out. They called reception and gave me back my shoes. 10/10. Also, Swimming pool is quite good despite being not very deep. It's really helpful for beginner swimmers. Food and hospitality is also quite good to be honest. Overall experience was 10/10

The hotel is good,located in prime location and can avail all service nearby. But the hotel management need to be better and work more on it.Staffs are well mannered but in some extend it shows they need more training and knowledge. All over its satisfactory but not from all aspect.And prices of foods inside are a bit higher towards some.Room rents are a bit excess than room provided all and from picture it defers too.

I recently had the displeasure of staying at Ocean Paradise Hotel, and my experience was far from satisfactory. The overall management of the hotel was shockingly poor, leaving a bitter taste in my mouth throughout my stay. One of the most disappointing aspects was the breakfast provided by the hotel. The quality was below standard, and the variety was severely lacking. The food options were not only limited but also of subpar quality, forcing me to venture outside the hotel to find a decent breakfast. For a hotel that claims to offer a luxurious experience, the breakfast fell miserably short of expectations. The rooms, where my friends were accommodated, turned out to be a nightmare. They were unable to get a good night's sleep due to incessant music vibrations that permeated the walls. It seemed like there was a complete disregard for the comfort of guests, as the noise persisted throughout the night. This not only affected their overall experience but also left them exhausted and frustrated. Considering the exorbitant price we paid for our stay, the value for money was simply not there. The lackluster management, coupled with the disappointing breakfast and the disturbance in the rooms, made the entire experience thoroughly unpleasant. I would strongly advise against choosing Ocean Paradise Hotel for your accommodation needs, as it is undoubtedly not worth the price they demand. Save yourself the frustration and look for alternative options that prioritize guest comfort and satisfaction.

Came to this hotel for a couple of nights with a large group of friends and colleagues. Undoubtedly it’s one of the best hotel in Cox’s Bazar. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. About the employees I have a mixed impression. Some of them are very polite while some of them are very arrogant. Which should not be expected from a 5 star hotel. Food quality in the buffet breakfast is average. But bakery items are surprisingly good. The coffee served in the main atrium is also very good. The pool area needs the most changes. At first it’s a very small pool. A hotel with more than 500 rooms should have a much larger one. It seemed like a "Fish Market" to me while I went there. The same while having the complementary buffet breakfast. Please think about these seriously. Otherwise you are losing customers. I hope they have a good future.

A fine residential hotel at Cox's Bazar. Good rooms, better service, convenient location. All good! A bit expensive but it's worth paying the extra amount for the whole. I liked their live music section. Even if you participate along with the musicians if you want!!! The rooftop restaurant is another good thing. Oh one more info, they have a legal Bar!

I had an unforgettable stay at Ocean Paradise in Cox's Bazaar. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a breathtaking view of the sea. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, and the rooms were not only clean and well-maintained but also provided a perfect vantage point to enjoy the stunning sunsets. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delectable. I can't wait to return to this coastal paradise and stay at Ocean Paradise again. Highly recommended!

Never stayed in this hotel but went to their rooftop restaurant few times ! The price is really cheap compared to the place you get ! You can enjoy in the rooftop even on a rainy day 🥰 I don’t have any pictures of the restaurant but here are some snaps of the view you can get ! I removed one star because : 1. They don’t give tickets for some drinks (😏) 2. They dont give the cane when you order local Coca Cola ( apparently they are not allowed to service the local cane on table... but the imported ( Malaysian) one is fine?) 😒 Highly recommend :)

Their Masala Tea is very good. If you need airport transfer, you should inform them a day ahead of your arrival so that they can arrange the airport shuttle for you. The usual check-in time is 2PM but if there is available room, you can check-in early and the checkout time is 12PM noon. They have the facility for baby/kids food on demand if anyone travel with kids. You can get it directly in your room from room service. Try to stay at Superior/Premier Sea view room to get the great view of sunset and sea from your balcony

Nice service. But, Our Check in was at 2 pm, and we were there at the right time. They say the room is not ready yet. After 30 min we were able to enter the room and due to maintenance, we were not able to take a shower because of hot and dirty water. It should be fixed before we go. But, overall is ok complimentary was nice.

No doubt you will never get a room at such an affordable price in a 5 star rated hotel, so we need to discount some of the inconveniences if possible. As a returning guest my stay was nice and without much hassle. However, care should be taken during the cleaning before a guest checks in - I found the wash basin dirty, and the commode unsealed which is unexpected, though the reception apologised. Breakfast menu was good, could be a little more international. Pool is not the largest, but poolside sitting arrangement is good. Gym is small but neat with basic workout instruments. They have a nice bar but the Friday party at the bar really disturbs the guests’ sleep. Reception and other staff are nice and smiling. Hredoy at the front desk could be a little more communicative and nice. TV is practically unwatchable as it is too old and channels are hazy, so no use. the airport pick up and drop off is a wonderful complimentary service. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Stayed here recently. Lovey hotel, I think the reception and lobby area looks amazing but the actual rooms differ. Great customer service from all staff including, security, concierge, house keeping & catering. A few of the reception staff can do with some customer service training. Breakfast was nice but the juice is very watery and flavourless. They offer a range of breakfast options, pastries, and teas. Good facilities including outdoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam bath, spa and two restaurants. The spa, steam bath and sauna has a cost to use. One of the restaurants are on the top floor with a lovely view. A few things to look out for: - The room cleanliness isn’t up to standard. The shower lever broke on the first day, the towel rack also broke. - After a few nights I realised these red spots/marks on my body. At first, I assumed it was mosquito bites, later to realise it was bed bugs. - I had a crowd of little insects in my room, running around on the floor. I also found a insect on my bed. - Swimming pool had dead flies floating around, which wasn’t very nice to see. - We had a few issues with the room keys/ cards. On three occasions we weren’t able to access our rooms and had to get the cards changed. - Sometimes the AC will turn on and off randomly. - The hot water is turned off at a certain time. 2 stars due to the issues. But overall, nice hotel, great service given, decent food, good facilities.

Staff were so kind and generous. Coming from the US I was unsure of what a “luxury hotel” would look like in Bangladesh but the rooms were perfect, the beach was gorgeous, the staff were incredible, and the food at Ocean Paradise was delicious. Highly recommend spending time up on their rooftop restaurant to catch some insane views of the city. I felt totally safe during my stay because Ocean Paradise goes above and beyond to think of every safety measure possible. If you are visiting Cox’s Bazar I highly recommend this resort!

Celebrating a friend's birthday here at the restaurant, food are great. They have a live kitchen with fish and chicken. I don't like the place where they put their plates, it is hidden behind the soup pots, so customers cannot get it easily.

The service was great. Their pasta is to die for. Highly recommend the carbonara. The rooms are great too. The only issue is that the bathroom shower water goes all over the place no matter how much you use the curtains. The location is fine. It's close to the beach, though it's not a beach front.

It was a good hotel once. Now price vs value isn’t good at all. Rooms are old. No hot water in the shower. Shabby reception service. Overall an average 3 star facility.
