I was very pleasantly surprised. When you enter this restaurant, you feel very comfortable. The atmosphere is warm, all the employees and people are very kind and positive. I especially liked how the chef cooks personally in front of you. The dishes were great and I really enjoyed the main course and dessert. I visited a restaurant for the first time, the service of which can be compared with Ukrainian service. No other European restaurant left behind so many positive emotions.

This is an excellent restaurant with a super lovely chef. When I was eating he started to play my hometown songs and talked to me a lot about his interesting career. The restaurant is run by a home, The decoration done and painted by the chef/boss himself. I have to say I feel so touched when the chef gave me some souvenirs of ancient Constanta port. I love this place and I will come once again! Five stars recommended. Hope the boss can come to visit my country someday. Love here!

This restaurant deserves a Michelin star! Chef and his team maintain the highest level of service and food quality. Portions are relatively big, for example, beef tartar will be totally enough for two persons. I personally recommend beef dishes, tenderloin beef steak is delicious! Go with rare doneness! Don't forget to try cherry desert, also fine to split between two. Even if after that, you'll feel that something is missing, ask Chef for a Pálinka shot. 😉

I fell in love with Chevalet and its cooking since their first location in Mamaia, 2007-2008 (?). The owner and chef is a well travelled man with tons of knowledge and who truly brought the fine dining experience to Constanta. This place deserves better recognition! PS: He's a great painter too

By far and away the best restaurant I've been to on this week long adventure! The chef is truly a chef as he takes immense pride in his food and the pleasure of his guests! The wait staff is phenomenal in their attention to detail and care for the customers! They are highly rated for a reason and I would gladly return for a future visit should I find myself back in the area!
