We just had here the New Year's Eve dinner. It was simply ... spectacular ! We have been to many restaurants outside Romania but Chevalet is something different, everything from quality, taste, look and feel of the food is 5 stars! I am glad we have such a restaurant in Mamaia! Each time we are coming back in Constanta we will definitely have a stop here.

Best Ratatouille I eat in Romania ever. Best pork stew (pork champinion casserole), best deep fried mussels. Superlative food from a food addicted Chef. He is a genius, go eat there, you will enjoy anything it will be your choice. Location is nice - see my pictures, stuff is professional and friendly. You may wait, because the food is prepared at your order. This is not a fast-food. However, for the mussels, the pork stew and the Ratatouille, the waiting time was less than 30 minutes.

If you’re looking for an amazing experience and delicious food, try Restaurant Chevalet! Chef Nelo is very friendly and puts a lot of love into everything he makes. I had the bacon wrapped shrimp, and the beef fajitas!

Best food in town! We celebrated my husband’s birthday and was the best choice we could make. Proffessional waiters, great chef and super relaxed atmosphere!

The fish was raw, even after grilled and "kept in the oven for few minutes" as waiter told us. Some things were in the menu but missing, better ask first. The place looks not so well cared, grass trimmed long time ago. Not going to come back

Amazing food, excellent portion size, and the chef (Nelo) is very friendly and personable. One of the best eating experiences I have ever had. I would come back to Romania just to eat here. I had fillet mignon, ratatouille, berry topped ice cream, and the Royal Chevalet. I and my stomach could not be happier. The ratatouille was especially good. I highly recommend Restaurant Chevalet.

Probably the best restaurant I have been to since I have been visiting Romania and the Black Sea. Chef Nelu is an amazing restaurateur and I have been to all his locations over the years.. however this one it is by far my favourite. Food was delicious as usual and the amazing blend of international and local cuisine with Chef Nelu touch made my day. If you are looking for an outdoor terace/patio on these challenging times this place it's a must visit while in the area. Thank you chef Nelu, bravo and well done on this amazing place.
