Nice, quiet place to chill and hang out. They didn't do much to it, but the place seems cozy enough for a late afternoon. :)

Hotel intim is a closed off building now, but it's importance stands as being visited by the national poet of Romania Mihai Eminescu. It's a pity it cannot be visited by anyone and it's only visible from the outside. Still, it's a testament to the importance of the Old Town of Constanta and it's evolution through time.

(Translated by Google) And again a beautiful house in the street Nicolae Titulescu No. 9, corner of Sraße Dianei, opposite the house of the lions, which was last used as Hotel Intim (before Hotel Regina & Hotel d'Angleterre). Mihai Eminescu also spent 10 days here in June 1882 (7 years before his death, at that time it was called Hotel dʻAngleterre) at the behest of his doctor to recover in the fresh sea air of the Black Sea. The Hotel dʻAngleterre was built in 1880 and demolished in 1903. The Hotel Regina was built on the same property from 1906-1909 under the supervision of the architect Daniel Renard (who also built the Cazino Constanta), later the communist regime renamed this hotel to Hotel Intim. A house with character in eclectic style with elements from Art Nouveau and Neoclassicism. Beautiful, I hope that it will be renovated soon so that it will be preserved for posterity!

(Translated by Google) Although Google Maps says "temporarily closed", the appearance shows that it has been closed for many years. However, on one of his walls is a plaque that says that there, in a room in the attic, was housed the great poet Mihail Eminescu. At that time, it was called the Hotel D 'Angleterre.
