Still
one
of
the
nicest
and
fanciest
restaurants
from
Constanta
(unfortunately
it
does
not
mean
much
as
the
restaurant
« scene »
in
Constanta
is
not
really
much).
Anyway
I
can
appreciate
these
guys
are
trying
but
they
also
miss.
The
food
is
mostly
nice
but
one
recommendation,
do
not
order
anything
that
contains
ingredients
that
are
not
to
be
found
in
Romania.
For
example
I
ordered
king
crab
tagliatelle
and
the
crab
was
definitely
old
-
had
a
very
strong
bad
taste.
I
« fished »
it
out
from
the
pasta,
put
it
in
a
separate
bowl,
no
one
asked
why
at
the
end.
The
rest
of
the
food
was
quite
nice.
Other
changes
vs
2
years
ago
is
the
wine
list
got
shorter,
the
waiters
got
a
bit
more
trained
(i
remember
first
time
laughing
at
how
the
waiter
was
mispronouncing
the
courses
in
their
menu)
so
service
was
better.
Ambiance
got
a
bit
worse
-
I
can
see
that
they
invested
in
the
design
of
the
restaurant,
quite
a
daring
and
nice
design
with
the
intended
kitch/modernist
statues…but
then…the
real
kitch
creeped
in,
certainly
not
from
the
original
designer…the
strangest
of
all
a
Bible
between
the
wine
bottles,
the
most
upsetting
of
all
having
cheap
paper
napkins
from
super-market
vs
cotton
napkins
and
taverna
kind
of
music…while
obviously
the
whole
concept
is
to
be
a
high-end
restaurant.
Sadly
this
might
be
a
few
year
wonder
and
the
initial
high
standard
will
get
to
the
local
« no
standard »
