I
was
excited
to
try
the
IV
therapy
at
Coast
therapy,
I
have
been
before
to
a
different
Naturopath
and
was
not
disappointed..
I
had
been
feeling
run
down
and
thought
why
not
go
and
get
a
cold
buster
IV.
I
have
not
been
to
Coast
Therapy,
but
had
a
girlfriend
try
it
without
complaints,
when
I
went
to
my
appt
me
and
the
doctor
had
a
normal
consultation,
when
it
was
time
for
the
intravenous
I
was
comfortable,
Im
not
afraid
of
needles
or
pain,
but
after
a
few
attempts
the
doctor
couldnt
get
it
into
my
vein,
she
said
my
veins
are
too
small,
so
we
moved
onto
my
other
arm
and
it
appeared
to
have
finally
worked...
I
immediately
had
a
burning
feeling,
I
knew
what
the
IVs
felt
like
but
this
was
different
and
worse,
after
10
mins
the
doctor
checked
on
me
and
i
brought
up
to
her
that
I
had
a
burning,
stinging
feeling,
she
assured
me
it
was
the
mix
of
vitamins
(particularily
vit
C)
that
was
bothering
me,
after
another
10
mins
i
was
in
a
lot
of
discomfort
and
finally
said
to
her
another
time
that
I
think
there
is
something
wrong
here
as
the
pain
was
going
up
my
arm
and
was
stinging
really
bad
(this
was
about
20
mins
later)..
She
checked
my
arm
and
was
very
straight
faced
and
not
really
communicating
with
me.
I
knew
there
was
something
not
right,
and
sure
enough
she
said
the
IV
wasnt
placed
in
my
vein,
it
was
dripping
into
my
skin
tissue...
now
I
am
panicking
and
I
feel
my
arm
where
it
was
and
you
can
feel
the
puffiness
of
where
the
liquid
was
sitting
under
the
skin,
my
arm
was
already
bruised
as
well
..
so
of
course
I
ask
her
if
I
should
see
a
doctor
she
said
no,
recommended
a
couple
things,
apologized
and
said
she
wont
charge
me
and
if
I
want
1/2
the
bag
to
take
later
I
will....
I
was
extremely
upset,
I
didnt
feel
comfortable
with
this
situation
since
Ive
never
had
any
leak
into
my
body
outside
of
my
vein
and
I
didnt
feel
comfortable
with
this
being
my
first
time
here
and
I
was
left
wondering
if
something
bad
is
going
to
happen
to
me
and
my
arm
since
this
was
not
something
that
had
happened
to
me
in
my
past.
Now
I
am
going
to
be
seeing
my
doctor
in
a
couple
of
days
after
franticly
calling
811
wondering
if
I
am
going
to
be
OK.
Now
I
understand
this
might
be
something
not
to
worry
about,
but
when
you
are
a
first
time
customer
dealing
with
intravenous
treatments
with
a
new
doctor..
you
kind
of
jump
to
conclusions
and
think
of
the
worst,
especially
when
the
doctor
isnt
comforting
you
in
any
way.
Moral
of
the
story....
I
would
not
go
back
ever
again,
and
probably
will
never
do
IV
therapy
ever
again.
And
lets
pray
my
arm
doesnt
fall
off.
