Food was good. Service was pretty terrible. We had changed our booking to an earlier time over the phone some days previous and when we showed up, a waitress said that the system had not been updated so therefore our change of time was not facilitated despite it being confirmed over the phone. Somebody didn’t do their job properly. Our group of 8 people were sat at 3 tables that sat 6 people on high stools. 4 people were eating at a table made for 2. As well as that, one table was higher than the other tables so the tables were not even level. It was a joke. We asked twice to be moved and nobody apologised or even tried to improve the situation despite our booking being made a month in advance. Christmas parties had priority. It wasn’t an ideal situation at all.

I was very glad when Paddy the Farmer's pub reopened. The original bar went into liquidation in 2009 and as far as I recall, it was reopened under new management in 2012. The reopening invigorated the immediate area with a "buzz" and I'm glad to see it is successful. Although I'm not a frequent visitor, this bar is perhaps the only bar in area offering a decent food and drinks menu. It's also quite popular with those who follow soccer on the wide screen TV. I haven't eaten in the bar for quite a while but the last time I did, I enjoyed the roast I had.

I ordered blood pudding salad and cod goujons(fish sticks). It was so good that I ate almost half it before, I remembered to take photos! The salads fresh, crispy and sweet. The fish sticks was good meaty and crunchy.

It was a girl's get-together after a long time apart. We wanted to catch up, eat & have a bit of craic someplace that had a good buzz... We had a combination of starters & mains from the menu. We had: Nachos - Halloumi cheese chips - Fish (cod?) Goujons - Steak sandwich .... and so much more! The food took centre stage once we started to tuck in. It was delicious! The food presentation was grand but once we tucked in, it didn't matter. I haven't visited PTF's since long before before the 1st lockdown. It was OK then but things have improved. The only finger-pointing thing??? The inescapable drenched floors on the way up to the loos 🚻 (Ladies' loo floors themselves were fine) Was told by one of the girls that that seems to be an ongoing issue & one evening she was out & it was like a small stream! Honestly, it didn't put me off & wouldn't because there was a great atmosphere, the service was fantastic, prices were very reasonable & the food was so good. We had a great evening, thank you. Would recommend 👍

Love this place! Food is so good and they are so flexible, I have asked for the vegetarian version of dishes and got it everytime. Staff are very friendly and lovely atmosphere 😊

Best Risotto ever! Also an amazing lemon tart. Everything was so lovely! 10/10 friendly service as well!

Only been in PTF a couple of times, but both times, I've thought the pub is nice and friendly, with good choice of food and drink. Nice and clean and tidy with plenty sports on if required. Many thanks.

Great Sea food chowder and quick and friendly staff in this neighborhood bar which seems to be a popular place to watch premier league. Grab whichever parking you can find nearby as no parking on site

Friendly staff. Quick service. Savage food. A little pricey but no more so than most pubs now. Good spot. They seemed to have a few jazz gigs lined up although I didn't see any music there

Had a 50th Birthday here. Everything was fantastic from start to finish . The staff couldn’t do enough for us, and everyone commented positively on the quality and amount of food provided . Will definitely be coming back for future events . Thanks Michael 😊

We were a party of 13 people, adults and older kids. Staff were fantastic and very accommodating. Great variety on the menu which met everyone's needs and tastes. Food was absolutely delicious and all very reasonable

Great experience at Paddy The Farmer’s. Service was excellent from the minute we walked in. Live music was great and the food was superb. Gluten Free options available also. I had my retirement party on the 11th of January with my workmates. As always (this was not the first time having a function here) my night was a huge success. The help prior to the actual night from Michael and the excellence of the staff (Dave,Dean and Zak and all the staff) on the night was first class. A big thank you to all at Paddy the Farmers. Fab pub....First time in it on Friday...We'd just had a terrible experience in Crawfords and Co around the corner and the staff in paddy's were like a breath of fresh air....they we super accommodating on a very busy night. They were all really friendly and efficient....great live music on too....the food looks great, can't wait to get back to try that ....thanks for a great night guys...we'll be back soon

Very cosy pub, nice and clean with a nice atmosphere. Service was good. Food was quite nice with the seabass dish a little on the small side.

I booked a party for 37 people last weekend and the service from the moment we entered the door was 5 star. The cocktails were delicious and the music was brilliant. Everyone at the party said the finger food we ordered was delicious. No cheap frozen food was served finger licking wings , Devine homemade chicken goujons, honey and mustard cocktail sausages and their famous Spanish Fries were just some of the different items we received. The manger Michael was a gent to deal with and the staff were excellent. I will definitely be back again 👏

I’ve just order a beetroot halloumi burger, and need to say: OMG!!! I used to love the previous tofu burger, but now! You guys just got perfection! The crispness with the pickled OMG!!! Perfect! It’s now definitely my favourite burger in Cork. It was so good, I didn’t have the time to take a picture of it 😅

V disappointing experience here.We were waiting 15 minutes for a menu...the place wasn't busy yet everything took ages.My boyfriend asked for a bloody Mary and was told that they had no tabasco sauce or tomato juice.I ordered a Latte got a capuccino. Starters were ok,for Main I had ordered a steak sandwich...the "steak"tasted like pot roast beef,it certainly did not taste like steak,it was also overdone,tough and we wondered if it was cooked yesterday,or the day before.I sent it back and they still attempted to charge us for it. Chicken wings were okay but my boyfriend ordered the second hottest sauce,there was barely a kick out of it,and blue cheese dip was bland. Left feeling deflated

Excellent food and service. Very reasonable price. We had a nice lunch for 8 people, including our kids.

Wonderful evening with a group of 4. Service was friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed our burgers and catch of the day. The lemon tart was excellent.

Really good actually... its a bit of an odd one as it can sometimes not be on the road to anywhere but the service, food, the seating, facilities and pricing are all great. I've started calling here more often with my wife and 6month old and it's great for a quick get out. There are some real gems on the menu and we always find a place for the buggy.
