Banks Of The Lee Walkway

Park

👍👍 This walkway has been my saving grace during the pandemic. When we were only could exercise 2 km from home or work, I walked here daily. Lots of lovely spots, with nature alive and in action. So many hours spent in peace and quiet

The place is one of many you need to visit if you like nature trails which are in fact located in the city.

We love to visit the Banks of the Lee walkway. It is a quiet walkway in the middle of Cork city. You can enjoy the peaceful sounds of the birds, the river Lee, and life. The city has done some major renovations to the walkway. The walkway is wheelchair accessible. There is wheelchair accessible parking on either side. It is perfect for families, friends, and groups to spend time together. #accessible #familyfriendly #groups #wheelchairaccessible #greenspace #park #garden

👍👍 The park is vast and beautiful. There are rabbits that can be found while walking if lucky. River Lee passes next to the park and is just breathtaking...

😐 This is an interesting and badly needed resource for Cork City. The walk starts at Cork Dump and runs alongside the link road which can make it a little noise polluted unfortunately. The start of the walk incorporates a little municipal fitness area. This is a nice touch. Informative little signs...

During the summer they have some events that are free and worth coming to!! Just be aware like in any place in Cork there’re no toilets or they are not worki...

👍👍 From here there is a magnificent view of the city. People relax and socialize. There are no cafés, it is not commercialized but left to the citizens to enjoy.
