This was an interesting experience. I expected a full service restaurant, but found out it was more of a store where you order pickup, to go, or groceries. We asked about eating in and they informed us they have these tables they can set up next to the bench. So it is technically a dine in restaurant. The pricing here is fair. The sizes of the pizza were generous. It looked like Detroit style pizza to me, served in rectangles. The people working felt more like a family vibe and they were very friendly and casual. Parking is available on the street for free. I took a photo of the parking area next to the building. We ordered the garlic cheese bread and a sheet pizza that we got split into two different toppings. I went with a mostly vegetarian, so we didn't get meat options which is what I'd normally try. I did like the cream cheese addition. That was a nice touch. I'd like to go back and try more options. Hopefully find myself that 5 star combination.

Super delicious pizza and garlic bread with excellent service and such a sweet small town vibe atmosphere. I think I waited around ten minutes for my pizza - it was piping hot and so tasty, especially the red sauce. Learned a bit about the neighborhood from the owner too! Such a fun experience, will definitely be back to buy bread and some other Italian treats!

Owner was super nice and friendly. He was very proud of his business. We are from out from out town and Jim gave us a free garlic bread which was amazing! We had the sheet pizza the topping were great and we got to choose our own. When I get it again I would order it extra cooked. Why I like my crust a little burnt. Other wise best pizza in Omaha.

There are not enough words to describe how much I LOVE Orsi's. Since I've moved to Omaha at the end of September, I've been there like 10+ times. The fresh baked bread is amazing. The sauce is liquid gold , I always get a large container to go. I use the sauce in my lasagna. Oh, and their cannolis's are fantastic. This place has been around since 1919, and I understand why you don't mess with perfection.

Very delicious pizza. This establishment has been around for 100 years, and the pizza shows. Very good. Get the garlic bread and the cannoli. The owner is super nice. I took my pizza to go and after a little car ride the pizza was still pipping hot.

Wow! Jim is an awesome guy. Can't put it into words. I mean, super welcoming, talkie, salt-of-the-earth! I order a mini pizza (phenomenal) and he threw in a side of cheese garlic bread and sauce because I'm visiting from out of town. He really knows how to welcome a newcomer. Then, as we chatted, he found out I served in the U.S. Navy, he made sure I got a drink on my way out. I'm telling you, this is a place to visit. First time to Omaha and Jim and Orsi's made a lasting impression! Thank you!

It’s an omaha classic. Too much history to be worse than 4.0 of 5.0. Pizza is classic style thick sheet pizza with nice blend of cheese. The cheese is a bit sour which is nice. For those familiar with La Casa flavor, it’s better than La Casa for sure. It’s not my go to NY style, but it’s a solid change up. Allota history and happy to try it.

OMG!!!! This place is AMAZING! My besties and I are visiting from florida and we needed a spot for some late lunch/early dinner. This place popped up and the pics looked great so we decided to go. I’ve never seen a restaurant that reminded me so much of my Italian grandmothers home. From the pictures covering the walls to the garlic smell. Pizza? DELICIOUS! Garlic Bread? DELICIOUS! Long story short. This place is so so so so so so so so so GREAT. You should go. I recommend 1000 times.

Great service. You can really tell that they care about the customers. I saw one of the young employees walk out in the cold wearing shorts and a t-shirt helping a guy carry his order to the car. The owner was awesome for giving me free garlic bread just for being a first time customer. I'm a fat guy with a big appetite, I got the medium size (quarter sheet) for myself and it was plenty food to get me full. Two regular skinny people will be fine with a medium. They have a loyal fan base and you can see why. They close early though so keep that in mind.

I'll give the place 5 stars for the service, and Italian roots. I think there are room for improvements. I tried the quarter sheet of pizza. Single topping Italian sausage. The sausage was very good, but browned until quite small. Also. The meat was under the cheese which I found to be unique. I have been to Italy 3 times. This is definitely a family style recipe. The crust reminded me of Italian baked pizza (not wood fired). We also tried the Cannoli's. The pastry was delicious. The perfect amount of crunch and flavor without being burnt. The vanilla filling could have more of a ricotta taste, to me it tasted more like a Bavarian creme you would get in a donut. Bonus is they sell tipo 00 flour by the 4 lb bag. This flour is a must for making any style of pizza crust. Didn't get a chance to buy any bread but it smelled good!

I know I gave this place 5 stars. It is not my type of pizza but my friends loved it. There is no doubt to the freshness to their pizza. The owner is about the friendliest guy you'll ever meet.

All I can say is wow!! Cute little Italian bakery and pizza shop. The man behind the counter was so sweet. Pepperoni pizza was delicious! They threw in a free order of cheese garlic bread and it was so good! If you are in the Omaha area, you must stop here!!

Friendly owner and staff who take pride in their food. The Italian sausage pizza and garlic bread was amazing, seasoned well, and with just the right amount of chew. They were kind enough to unfold a table so we could have lunch inside. We'll definitely be back!

Baking bread and making pies since 1919. Orsi's is a family owned bakery and pizzeria that makes some amazing bread and pizza. I had the pleasure of meeting with Jim, the owner who takes great pride in this establishment and the greater Omaha community. Highly recommended, great service, great food, great owner.

I have to be honest, the pizza wasn't the type I'm generally used to eating. It was doughy, soft, and a bit generic. But you know what, who cares? It was fresh, reasonably priced, and I even got a free side of garlic cheese bread with it. Further, the customer service here was absolutely excellent. The guy at the counter was cheerful and personable. What more can you ask for? I would definitely recommend anyone to check this place out. The customer service was on par with every other good pizza joint out in the Metro area. The pizza left me satisfied and was happy to get my free side. Would definitely come back here again because of the excellent customer service.

Excellent pizzeria serving up good Italian pies on thick crust (think like a standard grocery store pizza, not deep dish). The sit down portion of their restaurant has closed during the pandemic, but there are two benches and folding tables that are set up near the drink cooler for customers to use to “eat in”. Otherwise this place is take out only. It’s popular so expect to wait after placing your order. Service isn’t the fastest.

I had a mini combo pizza. It was delicious. The restaurant has packaged Italian food for sale, but the pizza is American. They let you choose your own toppings, and have a few standard options. They gave us free cheese bread because it was our first time. Established in 1919, the walls are decorated with old photos of local people. It is a very nice, homey local restaurant. Mostly take-out, but they set up tables if you want to eat in.

Found this Omaha landmark pizzaria on Google and tool the chance to try out and I was glad I did. Italian heritage up for display the moment you walk into the establishment. I found myself reading the many stories connected with the pizzaria on the wall. Service was friendly. Ordered a pizza and it was good. Taste like homemade and not greasy like the typical franchise locations. Not really a fan of the garlic bread it came with although a nice unexpected touch. You need to checkout the wonderful mural created South Omaha Murals. What a wonderful recognition of the local culture.

Came for vacation and looked up great pizza places. Given their long history I felt this was the best option. They 100 percent deliver on their stellar reputation. Can not wait to return to omaha and enjoy their delicious pies again.

Great spot! First time here but certainly won’t be the last. The gentleman who helped us was very friendly and kind. Pizza and garlic bread was delicious! I agree with all the great reviews. This is a must see if you’re in Omaha!

Disappointed with the pizza. The bottom of the crust had zero color on it whatsoever. Milky complexion, borderline doughy, absolutely no crisp. Not what I look for in a crust, which is a real shame because the sauce and toppings were really tasty. Cannolis were just okay. I’m about 90% sure the filling was just Jello brand pudding. The shop itself is super cool. I’ll definitely be back if I ever need any specialty Italian ingredients. Staff and service were great. Got my pizza hot and right on time.

This place is the best and the owner is outstanding. He is so friendly and knows customer service. We visited 6 years ago and still just as nice and great food. So we ordered a pizza and like last time he throws in a free loaf of fresh bread and hot garlic cheese bread. Tells us how to prepare it the best all so the pizza has proper time to rest (according to him. Trust me he knows) There are tables for about 15 people. Most of the orders are to go. Lastly YOU have to try the Cannoli my favorite is the vanilla there is chocolate and he will make one that is ½ vanilla and ½ chocolate. But why not just get one of each. That's they way to go.

Cannoli were great! They make half chocolate and half vanilla. Italian bread was delicious too. The owner is a really nice guy, super friendly and cares about his customers. I will be back to try their pizza and other delicious foods. If you're out and about - should definitely visit Orsi's Italian Bakery!

This place is excellent. Their deli selection is great. They have a good bakery section too. Their pizza is one of the best pizzas (mushrooms and olives) I ever had and that says a lot because I eat a lot of pizza. Since this was the first time that we were there at the establishment, he gave us three cheese bread. The ambience reminds me of a classic Italian restaurant/ delicatessen . I have yet to try the sandwiches, bread, or cannolis but I will next time. Customer service is top notch and the staff is friendly, The pizza maker actually came out and asked how the pizza was. Great place for authentic Italian cuisine.

The absolute standard for Italian bakeries and pizza. The personal pizzas are great for a quick lunch. The meat and cheese selection is the ultimate quality. The extra bits that you can order are just the same things nana used.

1st time visiting, I had multiple references that this iconic place had some really tasty pizza. One thing I did not read into was the fact that is more of a bakery and a carryout pizza joint. They have a couple of tables for you to enjoy your fresh made pizza. The pizza does not disappoint, tasty light, fresh ingredients, sauce was just right. The place gives you that rustic feel, together with its great Italian appeal. I Recommend it and glad to say that I visited a renoun Omaha spot with lots of history.

A small pizza place with BIG attitude, because the full sheet pizzas are HUGE!!! The staff was friendly, talkative and kind. The Pizza was delicious and the atmosphere made us feel like we had found a secret gem downtown Chicago. Inside you'll find home made breads, a fresh meat and cheese counter and pasta. The only down side was we ordered to much! I highly recommend giving it a try!.

Their pizza is delicious! You can taste such a difference from other pizzas in everything they use but especially the crust. Their mini pizza is always the perfect amount to eat for lunch or dinner and I always end up having a slice or two to save for later. I recently grabbed a bag of their ricotta cookies with frosting and I was in heaven!! They taste like the super soft frosted sugar cookies you buy in the store but even better. Always satisfied when I go to Orsi’s ☺️

I can’t say enough about how much we love Orsi’s Bakery! Love their breads, cheeses, meats and pizza but most of all their customer service tops anyone elsewhere. My daughter always asks me if we are their favorite customer because they make us feel like that!
