Ordered desi breakfast - 2 Paratha, Masala omelette, potato(cubed sized cooked with tomato), chick peas(chole),mint chutney Shared with a friend. Not too heavy nor light. Just right. More than enough for 1 person. Not too spicy or oily. Chai latte (coffee version) cinnamon taste, very nice not overpowering. Customer service -family run cafe. Very nice and friendly man at the counter. Made us feel comfortable. Went through the menu. Customised a muffin breakfast for a friend. Made it twice as my friend loved it. Would definitely go in again. There's a pay and display parking round the corner. £1 for an hour. We went on a saturday.

Breakfast gets better every time! Halal full english - only one I know of in Coventry. Waffles are great too. Lovely owner.

Friendly staff, good if you fancy something a bit different for brunch

Very disappointed with my visit here this time unfortunately. Iv been a few times before and was really happy. But this time i came, i ordered 2 teas, 1 cream cake and a full desi breakfast. So the breakfast came out first. But our tea took 20 mins to come out (by which time i had more or less eaten the breakfast) and thats after i asked the lady serving... for it twice. She quite bluntly said its coming. Then the cake, which was sat in the counter display the whole time, decided that it wouldn't come out at all. Until i asked 3 times. My friend who came with me this time, wasn't impressed at all, and said she wouldn't come back again. Highly disappointed with the service i received this time.

I ordered a simple meal for lunch. It's amazing how delicious they can make a simple egg Benedict, and chai tea latte's cinnamon flavor is refreshing. The front desk staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was very peaceful and comfortable. I think I'll be back here for another taste☺️！One tip is that the edges of the Muffin on eggs Benedict can be a little softer or they won't cut easily.

It's a place where even vegetarians can enjoy a full English breakfast. The plant-based bacon and sausages tasted just as delicious as the real thing. Having a covered terrace seat is also a nice feature.

Had a lovely lunch here today! Delicious food, wheelchair accessible and wasn't too busy either. Perfect - will be coming back again!!

Always thought about visiting Kahawa Cafe but never found it appealing when pearing in as passing by. Finally visited yesterday and it pains me to give such a low rating to a business whose owner is very welcoming, smiling and diligent in his service to clientèle. However he was not there when we arrived. Staff did not greet us, no simple pleasantry, no clean tables, locked toilet, twice told it's occupied until i pressed for access, slightly cold atmosphere, delay in service etc. Once owner arrived, his smile just warmed up the place as he tidied up to help out. Hence 3 stars and not two. Food was good, portion size just perfect, hot chocolate so so. Hopefully some staff etiquette training and other minor improvements can help Kahawa. We'll not be returning for a while until service improves across the board.

Really lovely food! Since working in town in since December our office uses this cafe for lunch around 3-4 times a week! Cannot recommend enough! Masala fries are amazing! All the staff are extremely friendly too! Great little cafe!

Good service f2f. Quite slow to deliver 2 coffees. The menu looks standard with not surprises or interesting factors.

Very nice breakfast. When you arrive, you are greeted with the tantalising aroma of coffee and Bombay potatoes. Everything on the menu is tempting. I look forward to coming back many times.

Clean, lots of tables & space, USB and plug sockets, decent and good selection of coffee, good food selection (including Asian), friendly staff, reasonable prices. Also nice to have a TV...not many cafes do.

Been here two days on the trot for their Desi Breakfast and chai, food is amazing and chai not to sweet. Both days were fantastic and this is going to be my weekend treat. The menu for Desi food is limited and I hope to see it grow. Would like to see more Indian street food but for now it makes me happy

We came for the wave and randomly came across this cafe, and we were so surprised with the owners hospitality. He was extremely helpful, even cut the edges for my kids sandwich, and ensured he was given his milk first, as little one was so cranky after the swim. A lovely human being. The food is on another level, the desi tea is fresh, the kebabs are fresh and not the frozen stuff that some places use. You can tell all the products are served with love and care and not just thrown onto a plate. We know that next time we can order their all day breakfast option! Will be back here soon, I’m sure it will be a regular place to eat after going for a swim. Don’t miss out and give this place a try. The ambience is relaxing, the food caters for everyone, the staff are hospitable, what more can one ask for.

The coffee itself needs a lot of improvement. I’m not very fond of the decor of the place. I actually enjoy the fact that they make shakshukas. I guess it depends on what you’re looking for in a coffee shop

Next to Coventry Uni, and I could see many students use this cafe. Still, very friendly staff and customers, I enjoyed my coffee and liked the look of the shop. Clean toilet, plenty of seating and disabled friendly.

my favourite cafe whenever I come back from university, my go-to place to catch up with friends and family!! everything is handmade even the drinks! imagine my surprise when I expected the passionfruit tea to be just poured from a store-bought bottle like other places, but was handed to me completely made from scratch! love this cafe

When I visit Coventry this is my go to place honestly I love the cinnamon chai latte from here no other place makes it like them and sometime I miss having the latte🥺 because it taste delicious , and also the food is delicious as well staff are lovely too I would 100 percent recommend this cafe❤️

What a huge cafe. I’m sure it’ll be chock-o-block with punters when restrictions ease. Kahawa Cafe has an established European look and feel. Lovely staff and spot on coffee.

I came for a visit and found this cozy cafe and I was amazed! Customer service was wonderful and I was really satisfied! Ms.Feven ,who works there is a very lovely person who had my order taken care of ! The full English breakfast was extra delicious ! 😃😃. Recommend 100%

On the initial experience I liked the place. So we decided to come back and have some lunch. Service was pretty rubbish. Lots of staff but many of them on their phones not paying attention. I had to return my tea as it was nasty. My colleague had to go back to the counter as the staff were distracted by social media. This could be a really good lunchtime venue for business if the staff were managed correctly. Food was ok, but let down by the experience. We attended the cafe first at around 11am for coffee. Then we came back at around 1-1.30 for lunch on the 15th March. The particular staff member had their back towards the door behind the counter looking at their phone. If you need exact times and proof of purchase I can get these from my bank for the coffee I purchased and from my colleague who purchased the lunch.

Got a full english breakfast, with the Belgian Hot Chocolate, Chicken Tikka Panini, along with the Fully Loaded Wedges, the english breakfast was great, perfectly cooked. The Belgian Hot Chocolate was too overwhelmed with cocoa, leaving a powdered aftertaste. The Panini was a little bland, although nothing to complain about the staff, very kind and quick service.
