I was very excited to try the ice cream here after hearing all the good things about it and seeing the huge line outside the shop but unfortunately I was disappointed with the flavours and texture of the ice cream. I got a 3 flavour cup, Pistachio, Forest fruits and Melon, the Pistachio was acceptable but nowhere near as good as the one in Italy but the other 2 flavours the forest fruit and melon were utterly dreadful no flavours whatsoever, watery texture and lacking flavour no creaminess or flavourness at all just sweet watery taste . I know you this isn't Italy but from what I understood the owner is Italian and has experience in gelato making, I will give it the benefit of the doubt and try it again some other time. but like I said Not like Italy there is a big step before you could compare Alexandra Gellato to authentic Italy gellato...m

Really it's the best ice cream I've ever eaten, not in the country, but even compared to abroad. The guy who owns the shop is an Italian immigrant and he really knows his stuff. The flavors are unreal, not a hint of fake flavoring or the likes.

The lady really does not like customers tasting the various ice cream flavours before choosing the ice cream flavour/s they want for themselves. If she allows you to taste a flavour, it'll probably be just one flavour testing. Ice cream is okay.
