The most representative Romanian ruler of all time. If he had not been killed, he would have proclaimed the Kingdom of the Wallachians everywhere, going on to be a respected king throughout Europe at that time. Surely in a short time the Austrian Empire would have been crushed, and the Hungarians would have been sent back to their origins in present-day Kazakhstan.

Înainte de a ajunge pe tron, ca boier, a deținut dregătoriile de bănișor de Strehaia, stolnicdomnesc și ban al Craiovei.

The most respectable voivode from all Romanians! The only one who put his life on the line to see all Romanians united...neither Ştefan, nor Cuza, nor any other Romanian made such an effort for the good of all Romanians, even if the union was for a short time. Fighting Ottoman or Imperial armies and succeeding in achieving your goal of unification is for those times worthy of a record book!!…He died for the good of us today, us…epigons….

It's right in the square with the same name in front of the prefecture and the musical fountain. A beautiful monument.

This park is beautiful, like most Romanian parks... the flowers, the people, the architecture.
