Beautiful location, friendly staff, fantastic experience and hands down best specialty coffee in Romania. I live in U.S.A. and Bad Habits it’s at a very high level compared to the best coffee shops in America. They have a very simple menu focusing on genuinely excellent beans and coffee prepared well. The staff really take their time here preparing your coffee just right, you can tell they love what they do. The best thing about Bad Habits Coffee is consistency. I would recommend visiting 100%.

I believe this place to be the best specialty coffee shop in Craiova. Minimalist concept, good location (downtown), great coffee. Then why a 3 star review? Well, because i expected their mentality to be different than the usual one in Romania and unfortunately it isn't. Me and my friend went for a coffee there and just before that we stopped by a different placevand got 2 eclairs, hoping to enjoy them with our cappuccinos. I politely asked the owner if we could eat them there, and he replied that no, because they were bought elsewhere and that they have banana bread instead. I tried explaining that we already bought the eclairs and are not in the mood for banana bread, but he insisted we could not bring any outside food or drinks inside. I understand that is his place and he makes the rules, i respected that even if it does not make any sense to me. He lost 2 customers today (and potentially more since i was recommeing them left and right before) and he mentioned that he had other people coming from abroad asking for the same thing and he denied them too. So i guess he lost more than our business. This is the usual way of doing business in Romania (not caring about the customer's opinion much) but i was expecting more from them being a modern/different place run by young people.

Best coffee in Craiova by far, but if you've been to Bucharest specialty coffee shop you will still have a hard time to find a better one there also. Actual specialty coffee, from beans to the way it is made. The baristas are very attentive to they brewing, grinding, etc. If they have cold brew, get it! You will be amazed!

This place has brought me in the world of Specialty coffee, it is the only place in Craiova that has this quality and really good options for coffee. The sweets are amazing, I personally love the Banana Bread but the cookies are equally as good. Dont put sugar in your coffee, it ruins it… Love for the Bad Habit’s team, I will most certainly come back here.

Great people and great coffee. This place brings a fresh air and a new perspective for Craiova. Besides the good coffee you will find also a great desert ( best banana bread) with a good company (Vlad or Corina). Do not miss this spot!

We found Bad Habits through word of mouth, while searching for a good specialty coffee shop in Craiova. There are a few cafes around, but Bad Habits is by far the best - amazing coffee brewed by a very friendly barista, who doesnt only make you a great cup of coffee, but he’s also very knowledgable and able to answer all the questions you may have. He’s recommended us a breakfast place which turned out to be top notch, and he’s also helped us getting an online train ticket, as we were having troubles getting one. If I were to live in Craiova, I wouldn’t choose to have my coffee anywhere else. Thank you once again, Vlad. :)

This coffee shop is awesome! Bad Habits is unlike any coffee shop in Craiova, and I visited a lot of coffee shops in Craiova in the month I lived there! 1. The service is absolutely top notch. Vlad and Razvan, the owners, are so personable and friendly. They make it their priority to make sure every customer has a superb experience, especially by being so kind, so attentive, and so warmhearted. 2. The baristas will take the time and care to make sure whatever you order is amazing. I recommend trying their Coldbrew Tonic, flat white (the best I've had in Craiova), or iced flat white. But I'm sure all the other beverages are great too. 3. The interior is modern themed, minimalist, all custom-made decor and furniture. Very cool. 4. Icing on the cake: It's conveniently located in the center of Craiova, looking out at beautiful English Park! Stop in; you wont regret it.

A great find in Craiova if you are into great coffee. Very happy that they serve cortados in two different sizes in addition to a very large menu of drinks. Excellent presentation and friendly baristas who are skilled in their craft.

📍The right place in Craiova to drink specialty coffee ☕️ We went in there by recommendation of some friends because we are a specialty coffee lovers. The expectations were high and they were met. We went for just a coffee but we spent almost two hours learning more about specialty coffee and the different varieties with the owner and barista (Vlad) and drinking even more coffee. They also have ❄️ cold drinks (🧊iced coffee ☕️ and cold brew combinations🍹). If you pass close by, don't hesitate to come for a visit! 🔝

The place is small, but friendly. They have good coffee. I had a cortado and a cappuccino. The cortado was very good, but the cappuccino was average. Probably the milk was burned or something because an after tastes remained.

The most important thing that this Coffee Shop offers is the quality of the coffee, which is second to none in Craiova and can easily go head to head with the best of the best in Bucharest and round the country. Besides that, the atmosphere is cozy and the staff is frendly and you can even recive tips and council about this ”speciality coffee phenomenon” and learn about coffee and how to drink it as much as you would learn about wine by going to a top level sommelier.

Unique place in Craiova: their specialty coffee is one of a kind and the place itself has a very contemporary design (and vibe). I highly recommend the V60, it was well prepared. Will try the craft beer next time.

A truly unique place in Craiova, stylish yet cozy! The brownie and the banana bread were both exceptional and we were happy to find oat milk for the first time in Romania. Service was excellent and we had a nice talk with the barista. 100% recommended.
