Nice cave, but not something extraordinary. There is not much to see in it. Worth visit if you're around. From my POV, the beautiful picturesque narrow road (not fully paved for a few hundred meters) from bran to the cave, via the mountain top was the main attraction and a good enough reason for the journey.

Great place to visit. We were impressed by the children who gave us a tour of the cave!

Road is bumpy and dangerous if you don't drive carefully, not even gonna mention the drivers that are impatient and won't give you priority. The road is beautiful, even more beautiful in autumn. All the colors on the road, on the side, you can explore a portal through the mountains with a special present: the Dâmbovicioara Cave. It's smaller than Ialomita Cave but still worth a drive there. I went yesterday and there weren't many people inside so you can explore in peace and quiet. It's like an environment from the movie The Descent. Pretty cool for 1 day drive.

A nice cave, but nothing special. It has stalactites, some ancient bear bones, ancient paintings. A nice to visit once in a lifetime place. The tax to enter the park is RON 3 and to visit the cave RON 10.

Small cave.. Not much to see. But the road ‘till there is fascinating. Only for the road and I return there.

Amazing piece of nature, the cave is around 300 meters long but only 100 is open for the public. You can see some early human drawinga and some extinct bear fossils and some bats if you're lucky. Guides are available (volunteers around 14-23 years old) but only in Romanian. Entrance costs 10 lei for adults and 5 for kids, also you pay 3 lei for the road (there is a checkpoint 3-4 km before you get to the cave).

Not sure if it was worth going (for us). A place quite small. They let inside a lot of people at once so it is not nice to walk on a narrow pathes and be there, you just want to leavd all this crowd. Kids of staff are working as guides (?) And they are quite young. We didn't like this fact. Strange impression. :( Tickets: 15 lei adult and 5 lei kids (not sure what ages). CASH ONLY, NO CARDS

The cave is small maybe 200 yards but the road there is beautiful. We went there after a winter storm and the gorge has incredible views and lots of opportunities for pictures.

Great place to hike, beware of the dangers of being in the mountains bear & wolf sightings are normal. The cave isn't that deep, but certainly a nice place to visit

650 m long cave, from which 350 m can be visited. The tour is guided, local ladies will tel you more about history of this place. Our tour was in Romanian.

Wonderful cave! Not very much of it is open to visitors but it's fascinating nevertheless. We went out of season on a weekday in November and we had the whole cave to ourselves. We even had a friendly bat fly above us for a while. You can bring your dog if you keep them on a short leash.

The cave is quite small and the stalactites and the stalagmitew are deteorated. The light in the cave is kitchy and tiering for the eyes ( colored spots that changed colors ). You couldn't read the tourist info because of it, or clearly see the cave walls.

Cool cave, but not the best I've seen. It's ok and it's worth visiting if you are in the area. The guides are (volunteer) children from the nearby villages and that was incredibly sweet. They take their job very seriously and explain everything with great responsibility. This helped make the visit nicer.

A short and nice experience. The guide was a little girl who made the experience more interesting. I only wish we had more time in the cave.

Beautiful cave with 2 sections available for visiting, the longest in the country, hosting ancient bear fossils and prehistoric drawings. Highlights: the strawberry-shaped stalactite and the presentation done by local junior volunteer guides (best regards to Andreea!). It comes as a prize for visiting Cheile Dâmbovicioarei / Dambovicioara Gorges in Piatra Craiului National Park, already amazing and wild!

Very impressed with the little volunteers. At the entrance they will welcome you and guide you inside the cave. They will also tell you the story of the cave. Mirabela was our tour and she was amazing. Worth the experience

Cave is definitely interesting to see. Entry fee is only 10 Ron which is less than £2 . However the surroundings are astonishing, breathtaking views. You could easily spend all day wandering on those mountain pathways.

👍👍 A short distance portion of unpaved road to get there. Do not expect an high spring, mostly caused by the drought. Nearby you have a river where you can stay and enjoy the nature. Quite place and relaxing.
