This was an awesome experience tonight! We came to see our friend sing #JBJTinman and I was pleasantly surprised by everyone that I interacted with. Everyone was very kind and very polite and very informative. Both of the bartenders were awesome! And the guys that were running the front door were kind and awesome as well. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean, for being a bar. And it actually exceeded my expectations. One thing to keep in mind is that they don’t sell food here. I thought they did. But they don’t. However, you can go buy food at a neighboring restaurant and bring it in. You can basically bring anything in, except for alcohol. the entire experience tonight was great. There is no smoking and no vaping inside, which made it even more comfortable for everyone involved. It is free, seating, and very laid-back. The atmosphere is very cool, calm, and collective. Here are just a few pictures from some of the artists that we saw tonight. #KristinaWrites

Went there to see Keith Harkin, great concert intimate venue, probably seats 200 peeps, the drinks were well priced and strong, friendly staff, if you're hungry they have pop corn. Afterwards if you want to shake a leg the NYLO is next door and their roof top bar has one of the best views of the dallas skyline, parking for both is across the street for five bucks.

In my opinion, Poor David's is the finest pure Music Room in the state of Texas. David, the Owner, is a master at booking shows. In their 45 year history, Poor David's Pub has had the biggest names in the music business perform at this venue. Get here as soon as possible if you love high quality live music! You won't regret it. George C. Sowan

Great place to go see singer/songwriters perform in up close & personal setting. Parking close by. Drinks served. Get there early to get the seat you want.

This is a great little venue for live music. The sound system is perfect for solo acts, the seating adequate and atmosphere exactly what you would want from a classic dive bar. We came to see Tish Hinojosa and are glad we did. It was our first time seeing her, but it won't be our last. She is a local gem. Make sure you see her when you get the opportunity.

Intimate place for listening to great live music. Easy to get to via the Cedars Station stop on the DART rail system, though there is a parking lot and some street parking, too. No food, though the website says you can bring in or have dinner delivered. They have popcorn and bar service. No cover charge or drink minimum, but you do need show tickets. We just spent a delightful evening listening to Reina del Cid and Toni Lindgren.

A classic Dallas live music venue. Plenty of parking nearby. Drinks inside, but no food. No reserved seating. If you’re early for an evening show, visit the rooftop bar at the hotel next door for a drink and a snack.

A Dallas institution for live music, fun times and good bartending. Not the same funky vibe as the original location on lower Greenville but still a unique treasure for DTX. Great small venue for seeing bands in an intimate setting. They always have good shows.

Some of the best music in Dallas. Get there early, even if you have a reserved seat. Parking across the street is only $5.

Great music. Big event on a Sunday should staff more than one bartender. She did GREAT but I wanted to jump the counter and help the gal out. Keep up the live music. The best in that aspect!

Down-to-earth venue with plenty of seats! Great place to relax, socialize, and enjoy a wide variety of music. Carlos the sound guy is one of the best in the business!

A great listening room, perfect for people who actually want to hear the artists and not everyone's conversations the whole night. David Card (Owner) puts the best staff together and brings in the best performers to ensure patrons get the quality show they pay for. Carlos runs the sound like a true professional, and he's just a nice guy in general, the bar staff is friendly and attentive and there is not a bad seat in the house. My favorite times to go are anytime there's a KNON event or birthday celebration. and the artist showcases are always fulfilling. The drinks can be a bit pricey during special events, but I don't mind. I don't want David to be "Poor David" his whole life so I'm happy to contribute. I'm sure he would like to be at least Lower-Middle Class David someday :) 5 Stars any day!

Great little listening room / venue.. We came down to catch John Baumann and Kevin Foster.. Lots of bar space, manned by a hell of a fan of Liberty. Staff was attentive, friendly and a definite merit. Sound was excellent. Stuffed animals lend an air of whimsy to the ambiance. 15/10 will return for more shows.

This place is legendary. One of very BEST rooms we have ever played. Excellent super high quality sound by Carlos Sanchez. Great stuff and a very appreciative audience. A great place to see a show.
