Americano has to be one of the best eating places in Dallas. The food is very good with a delightful twist. It's very light and flavorful. The salads are unbelievable and the dressings outrageously tasty. All dressings are made in-house and the olives are cured in-house also. Unbelievably delicious. I'm not a fan of Italian food because of the heaviness and sauces. However, Americano has solved this problem. If you're in the Dallas area, make a definite place to visit.

I had high expectations about this place. Unfortunately they weren’t met. - nice location and decor - poor service: we waited almost 45 minutes for the food, and it was not crowded to justify such long wait - disappointing food: tried a lot of different items from the menu. The bolognese pasta was very very salty, the frittata over cooked, eggs alla puttanesca were over cooked (the yolk should have been runny), the focaccia was dry...

Some friends and I ate here while in Dallas for a conference. The service was great, it had a great atmosphere, and the pizza was delicious. I went with the breakfast pizza, and it was awesome. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the crust was amazing. Also, as a side note, the water was also very good, surprisingly. All of the people I was with enjoyed their meals as well. I would definitely visit again if I ever end up back in Dallas near the convention center.

Had a quick business trip in Dallas and we found this place on Yelp. It was so good!! They had great cocktails. I had a drink that was like a Moscow mule but with a twist. We had the wagyu beef for an appetizer and it was so good we had two! I had the salmon and my co worker had the flat iron steak. Amazing and the whole layout was awesome. Go. Now!

Visiting Dallas during November and it was freezing. We were trying to find a brewery of some sort for some pre-dinner snacks and drinks and since it was so cold we essentially went into the first place we could find - Americano. Heavy Italian influence and not a lot of snack options so we ended up ordering entrees. They were fantastic and had some out of the box thinking/ingredients/presentations. Had a great time and highly recommend.

Arrived right as the restaurant was opening so we had the place to ourselves for a bit and then it got busy. We ordered cappuccinos, a Bergamot Breakfast Cocktail, the Breakfast Pizza, Eggs Benedict Pizza, and the Nutella filled donuts! The food was delicious! The Breakfast Pizza was our favorite as the flavors were bold and worked well as a group. The Eggs Benedict Pizza was delicious but the flavors were more subtle and softer. The cocktail was amazing and all the flavors were perfect!

Loved the food here... Was surprised and excited to find so many vegetarian options.. the staff was super sweet and were ready to customize the menu for us further to fit our vegetarian needs. Was a lil disappointed not to get their signature mushroom and kale lasagna though - they said they removed it from their menu sometime back.. Light meal for two including desserts cost us $50..

I am assuming the "Its in your head" sign is referring to the food you wish had on your plate after realizing you paid $3 per piece of tortellini pasta. This dish was ridiculously priced for the amount of food you get. My five year old would have left still hungry. The service people's attitude was as if you were lucky enough to be in their presence. The hostess didn't make an appearance until we decided to attempt to seat ourselves after waiting almost 5 mins to be greated in the half empty restaurant. The waiter was not the friendliest person and shut my fiance down when asked for a small change to her dish, with a stern "NO." Please see the before and after pics. Yes, that box contains literally half of the $18 dish. I would not recommend this place nor would I return.
