This place is amazing. I went with family and had an amazing dinner! The food is creative and delicious. They have a thing where no salt is used in the kitchen and instead special salts are brought to the table. You can decide what to compliment your dish with. If you want something more casual, a table of appetizers would be amazing as well. We had a couple appetizers and a meal, all of which was amazing. The wine and cocktail list is also lovely. I would recommend for a night out.

Delicious, fresh meal and very pleasant late-lunch service. We tried the watermelon caprese and heart to heart salads, both crisp and flavorful, with garden-fresh ingredients and seasonings. We also shared an order of hummus, I definitely agree with the waitress's recommendation of mixing in the scorpion salt, combined with the fresh homemade pita bread this made for an excellent, memorable meal. We finished things off with one of their crab cakes, very juicy and well spiced, not too much breading. We'll definitely be returning to try their dinner service and entrees.

The best food. The best service. This food is the highest quality including freshest seafood. The owners take pride in providing the best ingredients. Presentation is beautiful. Have been two times for lunch and three times for dinner. Never disappointed. Try the tempura brussel sprouts. This is a must go to restaurant.

The food was amazing. I recommend the watermelon caprese and tempura brussels to share. The king salmon was light and flavorful. Not only was the food the reason I would recommend this bistro but our service was impeccable. Aubrey Lynn (sorry if misspelled) made the experience extra special with her knowledge of the menu and witty sense of humor. Oh and the tiramissu was to die for!

The dishes are inspired and creative, prepared from fresh ingredients delivered the same day, and the original work of the family that owns and operates this restaurant. The family itself serves you, and the owners were present at dinnertime when we were there. Our server, Aubrey, described the menu with great enthusiasm and remained ready throughout our meal to answer questions and offer suggestions. We learned about the processes used to make the variety of salts that enhance the foods, from the appetizers to even the desserts. Each salt variety is served in a small salt cellar and diners are encouraged to pinch a little to add to their dishes. We experimented with these salts to see how they adjusted and enhanced each flavor. Give yourself the time to enjoy the experience. I'd recommend Sallio for the fun it offers the diner who is interesting in learning about the properties of salt and tasting the many unique varieties offered, though I do encourage you to dine here for the delicious food and drink.

We skipped appetizers and went straight for entrees. I got the liver and onions because it's one of my favorites. I felt like the quality of the meat was exceptional. I also liked that in addition to the regular menu there are rotating selections based on what the staff have been able to get in that's seasonally and locally more available. My brother in law got the redfish and said it was great.

This is my favorite restaurant and a true local gem. Family owned and run bistro with excellent wine list you won't find elsewhere and the food is fantastic! Stop by for happy hour and stay for dinner. The menu is mainly mediterranean fare with a creole flair. Absoultely the BEST Ahi Tuna in Dallas with homemade fried wontons, daily specials that are always good. Had the bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with smoked gouda last night... delicious! My all time favorite is the pistachio crusted trout. I feel like part of the family and would love to see more people from the neighborhood support this business. I can't say enough great things about the family, food and atmosphere.

Creative takes on dishes - watermelon salad was served on a massive salt block, the baklava wore a crown of spun caramel and each table was decorated with a beautiful rose. This place pulls off aesthetic and great food in an intimate setting very well.

Just amazing all around. We had the eggplant appetizer and it was just superb. The crab cakes are just perfect. I had the nicoise salad, pretty good! Tasted the gnocchi and was amazing.

LOVED everything about our experience here. The service was on point - professional, yet approachable. Kevin and Aubrey both took excellent care of us and it was fun to learn about all of the different types of salts (hence the name sallio, we discovered), and how they compliment the food. Had tempura brussels sprouts and a hummus plate to start, caesar salad, blackened redfish, and a delicious bread pudding for dessert. There were salts to accompany each dish - even the dessert. We will be back soon!
