My
beautiful
bride
wanted
to
try
someplace
new
this
evening.
I
dug
around
and
found
a
place
we
have
not
been
before
but
we’ve
probably
been
within
a
block
of
numerous
times.
A
25
year
veteran
of
the
Dallas
cuisine
scene,
‘Sevy’s’
has
survived
it
all…
including
the
pandemic.
Dressed
up
or
dressed
down,
this
place
fits
the
bill.
A
‘craftsman’
feel
interior
with
great
lighting,
cozy
open
feel,
and
just
the
right
level
of
intimate
without
making
you
‘sush’
yourself.
We
started
with
the
2018
WillaKenzie
Pinot
Noir
&
Smoked
Shrimp
Cakes.
Wow!
We
ordered
the
Lemon
Pepper
Red
Fish
over
Orzo
(amazingly
prepared
Red
Fish
with
a
beautifully
prepared
Orzo)
&
Marinated
Twin
Lamb
Chops,
Fresh
herbs,
creamy
roasted
garlic
polenta,
crispy
Brussels
sprouts
and
minted
zinfandel
sauce
for
the
main
course.
Now,
I
can
be
a
lil’
snobby
when
it
comes
to
lamb
chops.
I
have
had
what
been
touted
as
the
’best’.
Folks…
we
may
have
a
new
winner.
As
perfect
as
I’ve
ever
had
if
not
the
most
perfect.
The
evening
was
finished
up
with
the
Chef
Sevy
recommended
Hamm’s
Orchard
Peach
empanadas
w/peach
ice
cream
and
salted
caramel
drizzle
(he
was
so
kind
enough
to
stop
by)
and
the
Vanilla
Cream
&
Godiva
Chocolate
Crème
Brûlée.
We
needed
to
be
rolled
out
to
the
Jeep!
I
cannot
end
w/o
mentioning
the
wonderful
service
we
received
from
Ms.
Temple.
Her
smile
and
passion
were
contagious.
Impeccable
attentiveness!
I’m
not
sure
how’s
Sevy’s
has
remained
hidden
from
us.
But,
no
longer.
Add
it
to
the
list,
people!
Your
won’t
be
disappointed.
