Visited this restaurant during the onam festival to try the special onam meal. The cost for each serving is 30 SAR with sufficient quantity. The special vegetarian meal served on the banana leaf was tasty. This place was very crowded during the lunch hours. The hotel service here is nice with utmost cleanliness standards. Finding the car parking space near the restaurant is a bit difficult and i didn't find any wheelchair accessible parking near the restaurant ♿🚫. The entrance of the restaurant doesn't support disability access because of the nearby footpath ♿🚫.

Tasted their recently introduced biriyani icecream it was amazing and tastey.one portion serves 2 or 3 price also reasonable overall good experiance. Tried their Schezwan Fried Rice and mashroom varattiyathu it was aslo tastey

Food taste is great, but HORRIBLE customer service. Staff didn't bother to take your request seriously. I asked for my food to be brought to table altogether as I love to take nice pictures of my dinners, but staff brought appetizer first. Even I said I want altogether, he refused by saying "We serve whatever is ready". He brought that appetizer after 30 MINUTES of placing order, then it took them another 20 MINUTES to serve us our 3 out of 5 main courses we ordered. And the other one came 10 MINUTES AFTER, while the final dish never appeared at all. In total, we waited 50 MINUTES for 4 simple dishes as fried rice...with an apologize that they have a wedding function upstairs. My advise to management / owner: If you don't know how to manage, please just CLOSE your restaurant for public whenever you have gathering events. It's not funny that customers have to wait 50 MINUTES for just a normal simple dish like fried rice. Food: 4 / 5 Customer service: 1 / 5

A very good place to have a hearty Kerala lunch meal. Comes with Rice, about 12 sides (including 2 gravies, buttermilk, rasam) , fish fry and payasam (sweet). Fish was delicious and other sides as well.

The food is okay The beef pepper fry is try. The fish roast is small in size The vegetables dishes are not recommended. Its okay to try out once in a while. Even though they have parking places, its always full because there are many customer coming to that commercial area.

Good ambience for dine in with family .. food is not that spicy, so different nationalities visit here . But price is bit high.. Food is okay.. tasty and did not like their juice

Well to start with, it has a great location. Great ambience and interiors. The family section is good too. The employees were helpful enough but the service was slow. The food is where I was disappointed. Though the menu has a lot of different cuisines infused, the South Indian cuisine definitely tasted good but some dishes were just poor. Still it’s better to go with the specials there and the prices were pretty reasonable

One of the best kerala meal i ever tasted (kerala sadhya).. Prawns roast also very nice.. Spacious restaurant area with enough parking.. Best place for small family or friends gathering.. Staffs also helpful..

Worst place ever! Poor service and food quality & taste is Bad. Food came after 30mins of order. We order Biriyani Sadya but got frozen Biriyani. Starter we got after meal which we didn’t accept. Banana leaf given for Biriyani Sadya which is very dirty. Pic attached. They accept about Biriyani quality and deducted from the bill

Calm and quiet Tasty food In city center

We were very surprised with how huge it is from the inside and the decors are beautiful. We didn't order off the menu ala carte ,we ordered the sadiya lunch which I'd the traditional South Indian set lunch served on a banana leaf. You have the option of keeping it vegetarian or non vegetarian. Eating off that leaf is an absolute delight, the juices of the leaf that mesh with the warm food aids in digestion and calms any inflammation you may already be experiencing. We had thick rice as the main carb,with sambar a lentil stew with vegetables, with a bunch of condiments that go with it all,it also comes with a lovely coconut milk based custard dessert. I would recommend to everyone to give this treat a try.

The best place for conducting a party. Tasty food, premium and neat interiors,Very professional staff, We have enough parking for cars. If you want to try the best indian foods, this is the place. Its bit pricy but worth it.

Staffs have been careless these days.. tables are not cleaned immediately.. Below is my old review... Food is great, ambience is awesome.. customer service is well managed... Someone should say it's expensive but it's not.. compared to other Indian restaurants around Dammam, they are not expensive with the best service and arrangements..

03rd Nov 2023 - We tried Chicken Tikka Biriyani.. 42 Riyals..!!!🙄🙄 Very sorry to inform you that which made us very disappointed. Even the quality and quantity of chicken never ever match with the price..!!! Normally we are eating kerala meals, chicken biriyani and beef biriyani… This was the first time and will never take it again…!! Their Malabar chicken dhum biriyani was average today.

Not special taste.. And costly... Too much.. One bottle of water 4 riyals... Food was average. But prize was like a five star hotel.. Normal people can't afford... This is not my personal opinion. Full family... Five members....

We had come from Jeddah for an inter school meet and to our utter bad luck, this restaurant was given the catering contract. The food was horrible to say the least. Hopefully we never come across this restaurant again in our lifetime.

the dum tea is the best, naan, parota is also good.

The taste is good..but the cost of butter chicken did not match the price...there was no chicken In it..and we ordered naadan chicken but they gave some other gravy. 2 menu also very worst. Pls don't try this menu.

Nice Ambience and South Indian Traditional Thali with banana leaves. Prices are bit in the upper side.

Usually a nice place to have food at reasonable price, but unfortunately our last experience with a soup to start with and mixed fried rice with a side dish during lunch on 22 Sep, 2022 was not up to the mark. The taste was not good and the team also not responsive enough. We will wait for a longer time to forget the experience and revisit this place.

Great food. Satisfying quantity. Great price. (2 adults and 2 kids for 100-120 SAR) Super clean place. I've tried several Indian places, none is nearly as good as Malabar. Truly looking forward for our next visit. Haven't tries the Chinese menu.

It's one of the best restaurants in the heart of Dammam City. And a lot of parking places. You will get both North Indian, South India and other options as well. But little expensive than but the quality of food is wonderful and worthy.

I orderd for chicken chilly it is so terrible I dont think the chickn is fresh.but other food are ok like meals porata etc

We visited for dinner early in the evening when things were quiet, and were impressed by the warm welcome, the detailed explanation of different menu items (there were some Kerala dishes we were not familiar with) and the general friendliness of our server. When the food came, it was outstanding - and we say this as big fans and frequent guests of Indian restaurants in many places around the world. The spice level was exactly as we had requested, and the three vegetarian dishes we ordered tasted distinct from each other, freshly made with good ingredients, and generous-sized portions. We would most certainly return here on a future visit to Dammam, and enthusiastically recommend the place for a delicious Indian meal.
