Oldfield Oaks Dog Park

Tourist attraction Dog park

👍👍 We love this doggie puppy park! It is big enough for the pups to run around and play but not as large as some puppy parks. Oldfield Oaks puppy park has a nice small to medium-sized feel to it. It's a great place! There is also a gravel trail that goes around a large grassy area where the pet pare... People often mention park, dogs, clean, great,

As dog parks go, this place seems safe and fully fenced in to protect your pup. I would recommend more signage though as it was confusing since the entrypoint was padlocked but the dog park was full. For picky dogs like mine who may not be up for galloping with the nearby Marmaduke, trails are available. The winding gravel trail takes you on a journey, looping around deer playgrounds and great for birdwatching in the spring when there are minimal leaves on trees. My only recommendation is to add more signage...for those who are directionally challenged, it is easy to get lost in the loops.

It’s great for my tiny hairy daughter. It’s always empty when we go. It’s clean as long as the other hair parents clean after their kids.

Nice DFA with limestone path inner loop and mowed grass outer loop. Most dogs and owners are well behaved. There's 3 mowed large play areas. Sparse smaller trees and tall grass separate them. Small dogs have their own fenced-in area if they choose. This park is plenty big enough to exercise your pet. There is a doggy bowl water fountain before you enter. There's no pond or water feature in the dog park. Reasonably priced county permit required.

Nice park has a small and large dog section but fairly new. Not many mature trees, can be hard to find shade in the summer.

My dog loves it here. Great sized park and has greenery where your dog can run in as well. Right off a hiking path which is fantastic and easy access as well!

This is Kylos favorite dog park because we see a lot of the same dogs/owners. I will say once you come regularly everyone does remember you (actually your dog) which is nice!

Extremely convenient location for a dog park. Most people here are friendly. It is busiest from 4:30 pm to 7 pm (depending on what time the sun sets).

So this is what a planned dog park looks like. Plenty of room with grass, fields & trails; clean, clean, clean... The dogs & humans are awesome. 99% of the humans stay close by their dogs keeping a watchful eye. Separate gates for entering & exiting. There's a 2 mile trail on the outside of the gated dog park area. Dogs must be leashed but it's a great walk/hike with or w/out a dog. Clean porta-potty (as clean as a porta-potty can be...😄). Plenty of easy parking, everything is handicapped accessible. I have my DuPage County Forest Preserve pass for the year; happy to see the fees being put to good use.

6 acres of free roam, another space for smaller dogs, walking path, and surrounded by preserve land for hiking

I like the park. Of course, at any park it comes down to the people who don't watch their dogs close enough!!! Ugh. If they are getting too aggressive...do something!!!

Great place to take your friendly dog out! My 5 month GS really enjoyed the hour we spent at park. He was nonstop playing and running with other dogs and now peacefully lying at home.

Daily visitor for multiple years now. Always clean and clear. Less muddy than Mayslake when that is a worry. Great open space with a nice walking loop with a natural path option.

Always a great place to bring our boy. Its just the right size that you can see you pup from just about anywhere. There are no water holes for them but a great place over all.
