Nice biergarten with amazing potatoes salad! Propably the best you will find in Darmstadt! Compared to other Biergardens in Darmstadt its noisy as it's just next to a main Street. I still very much enjoy going here!

The cheesy schnitzel was tasty but heavy. Nice beer garden with a relaxed vibe.

No-frills, hearty Biergarten food. For a place which is a beer garden, in my opinion the different varieties of Beer on tap (bier vom fass) could be signposted a little better. Schnitzel is huge but unfortunately doesn’t come with the Frankfurt green sauce. Perhaps missing a trick for the tourist crowd? Does not accept card. Decent enough loos.

Typical place, young & old crowd, dynamic & always fun.

This place is known as THE bier garden in darmstadt. They have great collection of local bears and a family friendly atmosphere. Try the "kochkäse schnitzel" here, which is a local chease mix on top of schnitzel. Don't forget to have cash when you visit.

Quite underwhelming place. The service is mediocre and the food is severely overpriced. While the emphasis is clearly on beer, do not expect any bells and whistles whatsoever. The beer is good and appropriately priced.

This is a self service place. We feel very comfortable and feel German in this garden after 20 years. Wurst, Pommes and Bier, three coming together might be reason of this feeling.

The food and beer is nothing special, it's not bad at all, but it doesn't stand out, what does, however, stand out, is the atmosphere. Located fairly conveniently (considering how small Darmstadt is, you could argue this isn't hard to achieve), this Biergarten lives up to its name, it is located among trees, giving it the impression of being located in a small, outdoor garden, even if the ground is covered in pebble.

Social distancing and wearing masks only until you were on the premises. You get a gadget that notifies you when your food is ready to be picked up. A great improvement to earlier years. The toilets were spotless, even though it was crowded. Lovely old chestnut trees to sit under. An oasis in the city. A great place to visit. Highly recommended.

Nice and relaxing

to me as a foreigner it seemed to be one of the favorite places of germans i really don't know why there was no music a huge place full of many people and a lot of noise otherwise a decent nice place the food was really tasty but just noisy so many people and the lack of music totally killed my desire to argue for a long time there
