Four
of
us
had
booked
this
AirBnB
for
2
Nights
from
Friday
Night
to
Sunday
Morning,
25-27
August-2023.
We
checked
into
room
222
at
the
AirBnB
and
from
the
start
since
arriving
we
had
issues
with
the
deadbolt
key
pad
to
get
into
the
room.
Our
code
would
not
work.
After
multiple
attempts
to
get
a
hold
of
the
owner.
They
finally
responded
and
gave
us
a
new
code.
Fast
forward
to
Saturday
Night
we
returned
to
the
AirBnb
after
12:30
AM.
Our
code
did
not
work
to
get
into
the
room.
We
had
typed
in
our
new
code
and
our
old
code
that
didn’t
originally
work
at
least
a
hundred
times
with
no
luck.
We
had
tried
calling
the
owner
45
times
between
all
of
us
and
they
would
not
answer.
We
even
rang
their
Ring
DoorBell
by
the
office
which
has
been
unoccupied
and
locked
since
we
got
here.
Again
there
was
no
answer
from
management
or
the
owners.
We
contacted
AirBnB
and
they
also
tried
to
contact
the
owners
and
they
got
no
response
either.
AirBnb
told
us
we
would
have
to
book
a
separate
hotel
at
1:00
AM
on
Sunday
Morning
because
they
couldn’t
get
a
hold
of
these
people.
Unfortunately
there
was
no
availability
anywhere
during
that
time.
Even
if
there
was
availability,
AirBnb
said
they
would
only
cover
the
price
of
what
our
room
cost.
So
we
would
have
been
held
liable
for
extra
costs
due
to
the
management
and
the
owners
at
Beach
House
Inn
failing
us.
The
four
of
us
had
slept
outside
all
night
on
patio
furniture
at
the
building
with
no
cushions.
When
we
woke
up
in
the
morning
we
tried
calling
them
again
and
they
still
did
not
answer.
We
tried
seeing
if
AirBnB
would
allow
us
to
get
a
locksmith,
but
they
told
us
to
wait
another
hour
for
any
word.
Luckily
a
guy
who
saw
us
stranded
had
noticed
us
after
he
arrived
to
the
property
around
8:30
AM
and
had
a
master
key
code
to
the
room.
And
bizarre
enough
he
called
the
owners/management
and
they
answered
and
gave
him
a
new
code
for
the
room.
Let
me
clarify
all
of
our
personal
belongings
were
in
the
room.
The
room
smelled
awful
when
we
arrived
and
had
car
fresheners
in
the
AC
unit.
Like
these
other
reviews
the
pool
was
drained
and
empty
and
there
was
no
parking
at
times.
If
I
could
give
0
star
rating
I
would.
I
have
even
placed
a
complaint
with
the
Better
Business
Bureau.
