Nice coffee shop. Friendly service. Good tasting coffee with a few pastry options. It would be nice if they had a few more options. Had the apple pie. Was good. Seating is a bit limited.

Super fun spot inside Free Market! Very aesthetically pleasing. Had a mocha latte, which was great, and a Chocolate Croissant (not sure where they outsource, but easily the best I've had in Denver so far!). Limited seating, but you're able to walk throughout the space, so we found a great table to work at. The barista was definitely the best part; he was super cool and very kind! Looking forward to stopping back soon

Coffee was tasty plus the other cute boutiques were neat to explore. Short walk to the Dairy Block, which is very festive now. Grab a delicious coffee and go for an adventurous walk.

We met friends from out of town here last week. Husband and I have been trying ‘mom and pop’ coffee shops all over the world since last summer and especially Colorado of course. This one has been on my list for over a year. I’m not sure how it got the moniker of Denver’s Most Romantic cuz it’s in an open market area… It’s literally just a counter as you walk in of the street. Anyway, the barista was bomb and all agreed their coffee was great. Husband and I get vanilla lattes so that we can compare one thing across the board and these were quite tasty. We got two. One of our friends got a cappuccino and it was his second, the others had theirs before we arrived. There is a lot of seating and we hung out for an hour or so. We didn’t eat anything and quite honestly, I didn’t even notice what they had. We hadn’t seen our friends since… well it’s been many years. We only had eyes and ears for each other in our short visit. The whole market is accessible and I would guess there is an elevator to access the loos which are in the basement (next to the speakeasy 😳) however I, again, wasn’t paying attention to details.

It's an open concept cafe at the entrance of a mini shopping center. Nothing can beat a $4 cappuccino and others. Perfect for a quick caffeine fix

Caught up with a friend at @penelopecoffeebar, and I loved the Japanese minimalist vibe this shop had to offer. Their Irish coffee mocktail (soon to be off their menu) hit the spot on this chilly snow day The staff were extremely friendly and made tasty recommendations for drinks.

Was walking around the dairy block and milk market and came along this small, cute, and chic coffee place. Definitely recommend this place. The coffee is amazing and so is the atmosphere.

Delicious. Details from the drinkware to the ice are perfect.

I’m not sure what makes this a Japanese coffee bar, other than some of the signs are in Japanese. The coffee tasted average, and the pastries were what you would find at a European style bakery.

Coffee was good but $5.50 for a small hot, plain, latte is way over priced by a dollar. Most coffee is around the $4.25 - 4.75 range. Once you break $5 there better be a reason and I’m not sure there’s any reason for the high price. The location is in a nice building. It has chairs (bar style) to sit in. Nothing else overly special.

What a delight! My new got to whenever I’m in Denver. Quaint Japanese inspired fitout with cool artwork and vinyl spinning on the old school turntable. Coffee was on point (Australian roaster Little Marionette) and pastries light and flaky. All in all great vibes, great service and great coffee. See you next time Penelope ❤️

A coffee shop that actually cares about the product that they put out. They use ceremonial grade matcha and carefully make each espresso (weight, use a distribution tool, and tamp). Were also particular with making sure the steaming was done properly for each drink. Really impressed with it. Definitely worth a visit for quality espresso and matcha drinks. Thanks Phoebe and Matt!
