I was expecting to walk-in, as has been the process for years and was told that the clinic had moved, I needed an appt. and that it was no longer free. After being asked personal medical questions at the check-in desk in earshot of the entire waiting room, I commented on the change and was told "change is good." Change without communication when your goal is supposedly public health: opposite of good. You have installed barriers to health and left a once-informed public in the dark. I used to take pride in getting tested, taking the initiative, doing my part. Now I feel I've been told to stay home, that my health "was too much of a burden on the nurses" as the receptionist put it when justifying the change. So I guess, when something is hard, our answer is to shift that burden onto sick Denver residents. Makes sense.

Inconvenient & chaotic just trying to schedule simple testing. Insane this is so complicated in 2023.

I made an appointment, my Lyft driver dropped me off at the wrong place, and I had no idea where I was. I still arrived early to my appointment, but not 30 minutes early, and they refused to see me. I’m sorry, but if you need somebody to fill out 30 mins of paperwork, you need to have an option for them to do it online ahead of time. I’ve now read other reviews, and I was NOT given the option to just leave a urine sample. Nor was I told I could wait and see if they could accommodate me around the other appointments.

I've been calling for 2 weeks now and first thing when you guys open up and still get " unfortunate we are not available to take your call please try back at a later time"... So when is a later time??? IVE CALLED 13 TIMES THIS MORNING ALONE AND CANT GET A HOLD OF NO ONE. How is someone suppose to get tested or check their health if your not scheduling an appointments. This is ridiculous and I know it's now that bad nor busy to answer then phone to schedule an appointment like you guys say to do... Somebody pick up the phone and do you job please

Call to schedule an appointment and you have to wait for someone to call you. I've been trying to get in here for weeks, every time they call me back I'm unavailable. Bureaucratic nonsense really makes it difficult to address public health issues

Sept 29, 20 UPDATE!!! if you go for a routine check and do the walk in. They will have to sign you up for a call back to set an appointment, so don't waste your time for the first come first serve that has no information on their website. There should really be some update on this.

Denver health in general is the worst possible medical center you can visit in Colorado probably. Most of the staff is burnt out and have no compassion for anyone. This clinic will cancel your appointment if you're not 30 minutes early but will make you wait that entire 30 minutes to see you anyway. 10 minutes early? Doesn't matter your appointment will be canceled and they will send you to the urgent care. AFC urgent care is better quicker and easier to use. The fact that you need to call to make an appointment is wild it's 2023 and this hospital is profiting of our sickness and barely improving their facilities or patient experience. Swedish medical center in Englewood is way better as well.

I was turned away and didn’t get a chance to explain my circumstance well. I have a disability that makes communication difficult a lot of the time, so I understand the miscommunication is also on me but I was also rushed to try and explain things when I was still processing everything. There were several assumptions made and a bad game of telephone being played and I left feeling unheard and powerless, which lead to me crying shortly after I left. It’s clear the staff needs training on how to deal with people in an accessible way. I shouldn’t have even bothered and just gone to urgent care, but I didn’t think my situation called for that yet. If you suspect you have something the urgent care in the north wing of the building is your safest bet.

Fantastic! I arrived 30 minutes early, was immediately logged in and sent down to the lab shortly after. All services were complete before the actual time my appointment booked for. Within 10 hours I received all test results. I was allowed to pay the minimum testing rate due to unemployment. Make sure you set up your Denver Health MyChart beforehand to make things easy. Also get a good idea of where you're going to park beforehand.

For $30 if you don’t have a great income and no insurance. Most thorough exam I’ve ever had. Results came back fast. Will always be my go to spot for as long as I’m in Denver. Thank you Dr.Dora

This is a poorly ran disaster of a clinic. The urgent care next door ends up taking overflow because they don’t have enough appointments. I was 17 minutes early for my appointment and they refused to see me. If your appointment is 3:00pm, then you need to check in by 2:30, so they’ll bring you back at 3:15! LOL. Supervisor was not helpful either. Can’t stand this clinic.

They staff was nice a professional. It was easy to set up an appointment took me in very fast I thought I was going to have a issue being out of state but it was a good and fast visit.

NP Rowley is the highest quality provider I’ve seen in CO.

The receptionist is a kind gentleman and the nurses are kind too. My experience with the walk in wasn’t so great because of the long wait time. I first went in on Friday at 4pm but they are technically not letting anyone be seen. Only the receptionist is there to tell you no one will see you. I tried again Monday afternoon at 1pm, there were about 10 people ahead of me. After waiting 50 minutes outside, I got to speak to the receptionist who offered two options since there were no more walk ins available for the day. She said I could: 1) leave my number so a nurse can call me back to schedule an appt, or 2) try to be seen another day. I came back Tuesday morning at 7:30am & they open at 7:45am, there were about 10 people in front of me. I waited 15 minutes outside, and I waited 2.5 hours in the waiting room. Then I got called to get “registered” and was sent back to the waiting room to wait another hour to see a nurse practitioner. Total time here was 3.5 hours. Wait time is too long, but I was desperate so i didn’t have a choice and FYI partners/ children cannot come in to the appointment with you.

Incredibly professional care. The NP talked with me thoroughly about what testing was available, was well versed in CDC guidelines and experience and was very caring and warm. They made a scary and alarming visit the best it could be.

This clinic is wonderful. There is fairly prompt and comprehensive service that is hard to find! The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable, and they create a very pleasant environment while catering to a wide range and high volume of patients. Thank you!
