Absolutely amazing! It truly has something for everyone! I didn't get a thing that I didn't love! The pecan pie brownie was out of this world good because it wasn't overly sweet! The staff was so sweet !

Pictured are: Lemon pound cake muffin, chocolate Canoli, carmel Apple cheesecake, peanut butter mud pie and pecan pie. They give you a spare bag and tissue paper in the box. Parking not fun but with flavors like these who cares! They have macaroons, pretzels sticks covered in all kinds coatings. Key lime pie miniatures, sweet potato pie miniatures, meringues half dipped in chocolate. Have one person stand in line to look through the display cases then switch and let other person look . This place is busy, staff is patient and efficient. The patrons are as diverse as the desserts and its all for the common goal of good eats.😋

Usually the place is generally packed ( photos were taken on a Monday evening) especially on the weekends, but worth the wait. There deserts are fresh and deliciously decadent. Clean and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Downtown Detroit via Greek Town.

1st time going there. The line went quick. Everything looked yummy. The employees was very helpful and friendly. They have a few tables where you can sit and enjoy your deserts. They have hot and cold beverages. They have cakes as well to purchase. Everything we tasted was good with the exception of the Key Lime Cheesecake. Did not even taste like key lime..All in all it is a great bakery.

We got the double chocolate torte and the butter almond (kourabiethes). The double chocolate torte was supposed to have chocolate ganache and chocolate mousse layered in between chocolate cake. The cake unfortunately had lots of whitish cream and tasted like it was completely devoid of chocolate. This was probably the worst chocolate cake / torte I have ever eaten. The torte pretty much tasted like a lot of tasteless white cream. The only part of the torte that resembled chocolate was the chocolate wafer on top.….not worth $5.95! The butter almond cookies were dry & crumbly, had way too much powdered sugar on top and were lacking in flavor…completely not worth $2.25 each! Having traveled the world and visited countless pastry shops, this was by far the worst!!

All I have to say is wow! This place was packed with all of your bake good needs. There were tons of homemade options for everyone. When we stopped in it was busy, but not too crazy. Grabbed a coffee and some treats to eat while we walked around downtown. The coffee was excellent. The baked goods were even better!

You will think you have died & gone to pastry heaven! They have a lot of different baklava pastries & so many different types of deliciousness, it's just had to put it into words, you just really need to go here & see/taste for yourself! I spent over $100.00 Canadian & didn't regret it at all, had pastries for weeks. SO delicious

This is the place if you're looking for something sweet to eat while in Detroit. Located in greektown so always fun to stop by after a Detroit sports event before hitting up the casino. Parking is located in the parking garage or lots. Usually always busy with a line but things move quick. So many different options from cheesecakes to cookies and even ice cream. Staff is super helpful and makes it overall a good experience.

Very nice bakery in Greektown! Love the selection, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Everything is fresh and delicious. They even have some sugar-free pecan tortes!

Super cute and yummy place in green town! Finish off your dinner by walking over and getting some of the amazing goodies offered at this location. I got ice cream, but my co worker got some cannolis and she loved them! Recommend for that sweet tooth, and the staff was friendly and helpful!

Food: 3 Service: 5 Environment: 5 The dessert textures (cronut, cake) weren’t amazing and were overly sweet like almost all American desserts are, but I walked in knowing that. I was expecting more from a pastry shop but it was fun trying different pastries with friends. I do wish the seating area was larger and that the trash can wasn’t placed right next to our table.

This is a wonderful pastry shop and cafe located in Greektown, downtown Detroit. I always have a cinnamon bun in every city I visit. In my research, I learned that Astoria is a highly recommended option, so my husband and I stopped by for an early morning pastry before starting our adventures for the day. It was an easy walk to Astoria from our hotel, the Renaissance Centre, and there are lots of other incredible shops, restaurants and sights to see on the way. We were very impressed by the huge assortment of fresh bakery items, and the friendly staff. My husband and I opted to share one of the (massive!) cinnamon buns, with regular drip coffee on the side. It was cinnamon bun perfection - moist and delicious dough, with lots of cinnamon and sugar flavour. The only thing I would change is the glaze on top, which made it feel more like a donut. I think it would have been perfect without it! The drip coffee was also bold and flavourful - a perfect accompaniment to the sweetness of the cinnamon bun. We sat for awhile in the very comfortable seating area to enjoy our treat, and did not feel in any rush to leave. We admired the ornate ceiling while we sat. Overall, I highly recommend Astoria as a wonderful and delicious cafe to try while in Detroit!

Amazing pastries. Price is a bit high for some things, but they’re a definite must have when downtown. Easy to get something to share, and bring it in the cute box they give you and walk down to Hart Plaza to relax in the grass and have dessert.

Its a charming cafe that blends Greek and French influences in their coffee and pastry offerings. The coffee and pastries were truly delightful, capturing the essence of both cuisines perfectly. However, I found the ambiance to be a bit lackluster due to its small size and mediocre decor. If you're solely seeking a delightful culinary experience, this cafe is worth a visit, but those looking for a more spacious and inviting atmosphere might be slightly disappointed.

This place is in a really cool location. They have a lot of options and they all look delicious. The prices definitely seemed reasonable for what they offered. I got a slice of the German Chocolate cake. It was a good size and absolutely delicious. I would love to try more of what they have to offer.

Me and my bestie come here to treat ourselves. We love it! It's such a magical place... We always get stuck staring at all the lovely treats. We never leave with just one thing! Everything we've tried tastes even better than it looks! You've been warned...It's addictive! One of the best bakeries in Detroit!
